Privremene mjere koje su gradske vlasti Pekinga uvele kako bi poboljšale kvalitetu zraka za vrijeme Olimpijskih igara već donose rezultate, tvrde organizatori Igara.

Pekinški zrak se poboljšao za 20 posto ili bolje reći zagađanje je sada za petinu manje negoli prije godinu dana, kazao je dužnosnik BOCOG-a zadužene za ekologiju. U prvih 25 dana srpnja Peking je imao "čisto plavo nebo" čak 22 dana, dok je u prvih šest mjeseci ove godine prosjek bio 13 dana bez smoga.

Problem je samo u činjenici što Kinezi nisu usvojili standarde prihvaćene od brojnih međunarodnih agencija za praćenje zagađenosti zraka, pa mnogi stručnjaci dvoje da su mjere poduzete prije mjesec dana toliko učinkovite.

Čak je i državna agencija Xinhua u vijesti o novim mjerama istakla kako se brojni građani još uvijek žale na "smog i maglu".

Kina ima proračun od 12.3 milijardi dolara za ekološke probleme, a od 20. srpnja na snazi je restrikcija upotrebe osobnih vozila po sustavu "par-nepar", ovisno o zadnjem broju registracijske pločice. Sva veća teretna vozila i ona koja ne zadovoljavaju europske standarde o količini ispušnih plinova zapravo su protjerana iz Pekinga, a s radom su prestale brojne tvornice, ne samo u glavnom gradu, već i u okolnim provincijama. Radi se o tvornicama koje kao gorivo troše ugljen.

Privremene mjere koje su gradske vlasti Pekinga uvele kako bi poboljšale kvalitetu zraka za vrijeme Olimpijskih igara već donose rezultate, tvrde organizatori Igara.

Pekinški zrak se poboljšao za 20 posto ili bolje reći zagađanje je sada za petinu manje negoli prije godinu dana, kazao je dužnosnik BOCOG-a zadužene za ekologiju. U prvih 25 dana srpnja Peking je imao "čisto plavo nebo" čak 22 dana, dok je u prvih šest mjeseci ove godine prosjek bio 13 dana bez smoga.

Problem je samo u činjenici što Kinezi nisu usvojili standarde prihvaćene od brojnih međunarodnih agencija za praćenje zagađenosti zraka, pa mnogi stručnjaci dvoje da su mjere poduzete prije mjesec dana toliko učinkovite.

Čak je i državna agencija Xinhua u vijesti o novim mjerama istakla kako se brojni građani još uvijek žale na "smog i maglu".

Kina ima proračun od 12.3 milijardi dolara za ekološke probleme, a od 20. srpnja na snazi je restrikcija upotrebe osobnih vozila po sustavu "par-nepar", ovisno o zadnjem broju registracijske pločice. Sva veća teretna vozila i ona koja ne zadovoljavaju europske standarde o količini ispušnih plinova zapravo su protjerana iz Pekinga, a s radom su prestale brojne tvornice, ne samo u glavnom gradu, već i u okolnim provincijama. Radi se o tvornicama koje kao gorivo troše ugljen.
