Nakon deset godina na vruću klupu Vrgorca, ponovno se vratio legendarni Pjer Malvasija.

Splićanin s jakim bračkim korijenima na tom mjestu zamijenio je Petra Ercega, koji je ostavio momčad na drugom mjestu što je veliki uspjeh kojem se nitko nije nadao. Za Malvasiju se veže jedan od povijesnih uspjeha vrgoračkog kluba, ulazak u Prvu ligu kad je dvorana bila pretijesna za sve ljubitelje futsala. ‘Kamenjari’ se i danas s nostalgijom prisjećaju odlazaka u Ploče, Trogir i Šibenik, gdje su se vodile ljute bitke.

Nakon odlaska iz Vrgorca, Malvasija je ostavio traga i s druge strane Biokova, uveo je aktualnog prvaka Novo Vrijeme Apfel u Prvu ligu. Zatim je jedno vrijeme radio u drugoligašu splitskom Hajduku. Međutim,  kao pravi Bračanin, došao je  i na svoj  otok,  zajedno sa sportskim entuzijastima Tonćom Zlatarom pokrenuo je Školu futsala Fortuna Povlja, koja postiže  zapažene rezultate u kadetskoj i juniorskoj konkurenciji. No, trener- specijalac za uvođenje klubova u veći rang, kako Malvasiji tepaju  nije stao na tome, uveo je i bračku Konobu Tomić u Drugu ligu. Kad je stigao poziv iz Vrgorca nije mogao reći ’ne’. 

- Vjerujem da ćemo ostati na drugom mjestu i do kraja regularnog djela prvenstva. No, neće biti lako, jer se  svi  pojačavaju. Po meni Novo Vrijeme Apfel i Split su prvi favoriti prvenstva, a onda smo mi tu i Futsal Dinamo. Pa može se reći i dubrovački Square koji isto ima dobru ekipu, ali dosta toga ovisi im o utakmici s nama. Prema onome što sam čuo trebao bi nam još jedan pivot koji bi odmarao Luku Sutona - kaže Malvasija. 

Zanimalo nas je koja je razlika između futsala njegovog vremena kad je sve nekako bilo lepršavije i današnjeg. 

- Današnji futsal više se bazira na fizičkoj pripremljenosti, prije se futsal bazirao više na igri “jedan na jedan“- istaknuo je Malvasija.

Nakon deset godina na vruću klupu Vrgorca, ponovno se vratio legendarni Pjer Malvasija.

Splićanin s jakim bračkim korijenima na tom mjestu zamijenio je Petra Ercega, koji je ostavio momčad na drugom mjestu što je veliki uspjeh kojem se nitko nije nadao. Za Malvasiju se veže jedan od povijesnih uspjeha vrgoračkog kluba, ulazak u Prvu ligu kad je dvorana bila pretijesna za sve ljubitelje futsala. ‘Kamenjari’ se i danas s nostalgijom prisjećaju odlazaka u Ploče, Trogir i Šibenik, gdje su se vodile ljute bitke.

Nakon odlaska iz Vrgorca, Malvasija je ostavio traga i s druge strane Biokova, uveo je aktualnog prvaka Novo Vrijeme Apfel u Prvu ligu. Zatim je jedno vrijeme radio u drugoligašu splitskom Hajduku. Međutim,  kao pravi Bračanin, došao je  i na svoj  otok,  zajedno sa sportskim entuzijastima Tonćom Zlatarom pokrenuo je Školu futsala Fortuna Povlja, koja postiže  zapažene rezultate u kadetskoj i juniorskoj konkurenciji. No, trener- specijalac za uvođenje klubova u veći rang, kako Malvasiji tepaju  nije stao na tome, uveo je i bračku Konobu Tomić u Drugu ligu. Kad je stigao poziv iz Vrgorca nije mogao reći ’ne’. 

- Vjerujem da ćemo ostati na drugom mjestu i do kraja regularnog djela prvenstva. No, neće biti lako, jer se  svi  pojačavaju. Po meni Novo Vrijeme Apfel i Split su prvi favoriti prvenstva, a onda smo mi tu i Futsal Dinamo. Pa može se reći i dubrovački Square koji isto ima dobru ekipu, ali dosta toga ovisi im o utakmici s nama. Prema onome što sam čuo trebao bi nam još jedan pivot koji bi odmarao Luku Sutona - kaže Malvasija. 

Zanimalo nas je koja je razlika između futsala njegovog vremena kad je sve nekako bilo lepršavije i današnjeg. 

- Današnji futsal više se bazira na fizičkoj pripremljenosti, prije se futsal bazirao više na igri “jedan na jedan“- istaknuo je Malvasija.
