Tehnička komisija Europskog plivačkog saveza (LEN) objavila je u nedjelju kako je otkrivena pogreška u kalibriranju sata tijekom subotnjeg natjecanja na Europskom prvenstvu u Glasgowu te je stoga na sva vremena postavljena u prvih devet utrka poslijepodnevnog programa dodana po jedna desetinka, a među tim vremenima je i svjetski rekord Britanca Adama Peatyja na 100 metara prsno.

- Tijekom natjecanja u subotu poslijepodne informirani smo o mogućem problemu sa sustavom mjerenja vremena tijekom prvih devet utrka. Nakon provedene istrage ustanovljeno je kako mehanizam nije bio ispravno podešen prije početka natjecanja što je rezultiralo time da su sva vremena bila izmjerena za desetinku brže od onih stvarnih. nakon otkrivene pogreške LEN je ispravio sva postignuta vremena - objavila je Tehnička komisija.

Tako je Peatyjevo pobjedničko vrijeme na 100m prsno prepravljeno sa 57.00 na 57.10 sekundi, no to je i dalje vrijeme svjetskog rekorda, jer je dosadašnji najbolji rezultat u toj disciplini iznosio 57.13.

Uz finalnu utrku na 100m prsno, ispravljena su i vremena finala plivačica na 800m slobodno i 100m leptir te polufinalnih utrka plivača na 100m slobodno i 200m leptir kao i polufinalnih utrka plivačica na 100m prsno.

Tijekom finalne utrke na 50m leđno za plivače u kojoj je 18-godišnji Rus Kliment Kolesnikov plivao novi svjetski rekord od 24.00 sve je bilo u redu s uređajem za mjerenje vremena.

Tehnička komisija Europskog plivačkog saveza (LEN) objavila je u nedjelju kako je otkrivena pogreška u kalibriranju sata tijekom subotnjeg natjecanja na Europskom prvenstvu u Glasgowu te je stoga na sva vremena postavljena u prvih devet utrka poslijepodnevnog programa dodana po jedna desetinka, a među tim vremenima je i svjetski rekord Britanca Adama Peatyja na 100 metara prsno.

- Tijekom natjecanja u subotu poslijepodne informirani smo o mogućem problemu sa sustavom mjerenja vremena tijekom prvih devet utrka. Nakon provedene istrage ustanovljeno je kako mehanizam nije bio ispravno podešen prije početka natjecanja što je rezultiralo time da su sva vremena bila izmjerena za desetinku brže od onih stvarnih. nakon otkrivene pogreške LEN je ispravio sva postignuta vremena - objavila je Tehnička komisija.

Tako je Peatyjevo pobjedničko vrijeme na 100m prsno prepravljeno sa 57.00 na 57.10 sekundi, no to je i dalje vrijeme svjetskog rekorda, jer je dosadašnji najbolji rezultat u toj disciplini iznosio 57.13.

Uz finalnu utrku na 100m prsno, ispravljena su i vremena finala plivačica na 800m slobodno i 100m leptir te polufinalnih utrka plivača na 100m slobodno i 200m leptir kao i polufinalnih utrka plivačica na 100m prsno.

Tijekom finalne utrke na 50m leđno za plivače u kojoj je 18-godišnji Rus Kliment Kolesnikov plivao novi svjetski rekord od 24.00 sve je bilo u redu s uređajem za mjerenje vremena.
