Ana Jelušić objavila je na konferenciji za medije da završava svoju skijašku karijeru. Razlog prekida su zdravstveni problemi s astmom koji se u zadnjih godinu dana, koliko je pauzirala, nisu poboljšali.
- Skijanje je moja najveća ljubav, ali zdravlje je ipak važnije. Uz sve napore u godinu dana moje zdravstveno stanje nije se popravilo i zato sam donijela ovu odluku. Isto tako, u ovih godinu dana, koliko god mi je bilo teško ne biti na stazi, našla sam stvari koje me vesele na isti način kao natjecanja. Da mi je netko prije 10 godina rekao da će mi karijera ovako izgledati, vjerojatno se ne bih bunila pa vjerujem da se ponekad čovjek jednostavno mora zadovoljiti onim što mu je pruženo.
Sretna sam, svaki dan je novi izazov i cilj mi je ostati usko vezana uz sport i skijanje. Mlada sam ušla u ovaj svijet i uvijek ću se tu osjecati kao kod kuce, ako već ne mogu skijati bar mogu i dalje svoju energiju usmjeravati u nešto meni blisko. Ovim putem od srca zahvaljujem Hrvatskom skijaškom savezu i sponzorima na podršci koju su mi iskazali svih ovih godina - izjavila je Ana Jelušić.
Ana karijeru nastavlja radom u Međunarodnom olimpijskom odboru – IOC-u i Međunarodnoj skijaškoj federaciji – FIS-u, što je veliko priznanje najvažnijih svjetskih sportskih organizacija Ani, ali i hrvatskom skijanju i sportu.
- Ana se već 10-ak godina bori s astmom i vrlo često je proživljavala teške trenutke, prvenstveno na natjecanjima kada su napori i stres najveći, i teško ju je bilo gledati kako se muči s bolešću, a možete samo zamisliti kako je tek bilo teško njoj koja je sve to proživljavala. Ana je već kao mlada bila vrlo talentirana i predana radu te smo joj od 1998.g. odlučili dati maksimalnu podršku što je ona svojim rezultatima i opravdala te je prva od naših skijaša koja se uz Janicu i Ivicu popela na pobjedničko postolje u utrkama Svjetskog kupa. Žao mi je što zbog bolesti nije napravila još bolje rezultate, ali sam sretan da će ostati usko povezana uz skijanje i sport i da će predstaviti Hrvatsku u važnim međunarodnim sportskim tijelima. Siguran sam da je velika karijera pred njom - izjavio je Vedran Pavlek, direktor alpskih reprezentacija i alpskog ski pool-a.
Tijekom ljetnih mjeseci Ana ce raditi u Međunarodnom olimpijskom odboru u Lausanne-i (Švi), u sportskom odjelu zadužena za Athletes' Career program. Prije Ane ova prilika je u Međunarodnom olimpijskom odboru pružena samo francuskom biatloncu, Vincentu Defrasneu.
U sljedeće dvije skijaške sezone 2012/2013 i 2013/2014 Ana ce nastaviti suradnju s Međunarodnom skijaškom federacijom - FIS na poziciji medijskog koordinatora za alpsko skijanje. Ana je tijekom cijele prošle sezone već radila kao vanjski suradnik u komunikacijskom odjelu.

Ana Jelušić objavila je na konferenciji za medije da završava svoju skijašku karijeru. Razlog prekida su zdravstveni problemi s astmom koji se u zadnjih godinu dana, koliko je pauzirala, nisu poboljšali.
- Skijanje je moja najveća ljubav, ali zdravlje je ipak važnije. Uz sve napore u godinu dana moje zdravstveno stanje nije se popravilo i zato sam donijela ovu odluku. Isto tako, u ovih godinu dana, koliko god mi je bilo teško ne biti na stazi, našla sam stvari koje me vesele na isti način kao natjecanja. Da mi je netko prije 10 godina rekao da će mi karijera ovako izgledati, vjerojatno se ne bih bunila pa vjerujem da se ponekad čovjek jednostavno mora zadovoljiti onim što mu je pruženo.
Sretna sam, svaki dan je novi izazov i cilj mi je ostati usko vezana uz sport i skijanje. Mlada sam ušla u ovaj svijet i uvijek ću se tu osjecati kao kod kuce, ako već ne mogu skijati bar mogu i dalje svoju energiju usmjeravati u nešto meni blisko. Ovim putem od srca zahvaljujem Hrvatskom skijaškom savezu i sponzorima na podršci koju su mi iskazali svih ovih godina - izjavila je Ana Jelušić.
Ana karijeru nastavlja radom u Međunarodnom olimpijskom odboru – IOC-u i Međunarodnoj skijaškoj federaciji – FIS-u, što je veliko priznanje najvažnijih svjetskih sportskih organizacija Ani, ali i hrvatskom skijanju i sportu.
- Ana se već 10-ak godina bori s astmom i vrlo često je proživljavala teške trenutke, prvenstveno na natjecanjima kada su napori i stres najveći, i teško ju je bilo gledati kako se muči s bolešću, a možete samo zamisliti kako je tek bilo teško njoj koja je sve to proživljavala. Ana je već kao mlada bila vrlo talentirana i predana radu te smo joj od 1998.g. odlučili dati maksimalnu podršku što je ona svojim rezultatima i opravdala te je prva od naših skijaša koja se uz Janicu i Ivicu popela na pobjedničko postolje u utrkama Svjetskog kupa. Žao mi je što zbog bolesti nije napravila još bolje rezultate, ali sam sretan da će ostati usko povezana uz skijanje i sport i da će predstaviti Hrvatsku u važnim međunarodnim sportskim tijelima. Siguran sam da je velika karijera pred njom - izjavio je Vedran Pavlek, direktor alpskih reprezentacija i alpskog ski pool-a.
Tijekom ljetnih mjeseci Ana ce raditi u Međunarodnom olimpijskom odboru u Lausanne-i (Švi), u sportskom odjelu zadužena za Athletes' Career program. Prije Ane ova prilika je u Međunarodnom olimpijskom odboru pružena samo francuskom biatloncu, Vincentu Defrasneu.
U sljedeće dvije skijaške sezone 2012/2013 i 2013/2014 Ana ce nastaviti suradnju s Međunarodnom skijaškom federacijom - FIS na poziciji medijskog koordinatora za alpsko skijanje. Ana je tijekom cijele prošle sezone već radila kao vanjski suradnik u komunikacijskom odjelu.
