Treću godinu uzastopce zbog pandemije COVID-19 otkazan je "Hong Kong Open", objavila je Međunarodna badmintonska federacija (BWF).

Turnir se trebao održati od 8. do 13. studenog. Macau Open, koji je bio na rasporedu tjedana dana ranije, također je otkazan treću godinu zaredom.

- Hongkonška badmintonska udruga (HKBA) blisko je surađivala s vladinim tijelima kako bi zatražila posebno odobrenje za ublažavanje nekih ograničenja za sudionike turnira - stoji u priopćenju BWF-a.

- Međutim, s karantenskim ograničenjima koja su i dalje potrebna za sve posjetitelje iz inozemstva, HKBA je zaključila da nema druge mogućnosti osim otkazivanja turnira.

Hong Kong je jedno od posljednjih mjesta na svijetu koje još uvijek nameće karantenu za dolaske, ali je ranije ovog mjeseca skratio karantenu sa sedam na tri dana.

Treću godinu uzastopce zbog pandemije COVID-19 otkazan je "Hong Kong Open", objavila je Međunarodna badmintonska federacija (BWF).

Turnir se trebao održati od 8. do 13. studenog. Macau Open, koji je bio na rasporedu tjedana dana ranije, također je otkazan treću godinu zaredom.

- Hongkonška badmintonska udruga (HKBA) blisko je surađivala s vladinim tijelima kako bi zatražila posebno odobrenje za ublažavanje nekih ograničenja za sudionike turnira - stoji u priopćenju BWF-a.

- Međutim, s karantenskim ograničenjima koja su i dalje potrebna za sve posjetitelje iz inozemstva, HKBA je zaključila da nema druge mogućnosti osim otkazivanja turnira.

Hong Kong je jedno od posljednjih mjesta na svijetu koje još uvijek nameće karantenu za dolaske, ali je ranije ovog mjeseca skratio karantenu sa sedam na tri dana.

Hong Kong Open otkazan treću godinu uzastopce: ‘S karantenskim ograničenjima koja su i dalje potrebna nemamo druge mogućnosti‘

Treću godinu uzastopce zbog pandemije COVID-19 otkazan je "Hong Kong Open", objavila je Međunarodna badmintonska federacija (BWF).

Turnir se trebao održati od 8. do 13. studenog. Macau Open, koji je bio na rasporedu tjedana dana ranije, također je otkazan treću godinu zaredom.

- Hongkonška badmintonska udruga (HKBA) blisko je surađivala s vladinim tijelima kako bi zatražila posebno odobrenje za ublažavanje nekih ograničenja za sudionike turnira - stoji u priopćenju BWF-a.

- Međutim, s karantenskim ograničenjima koja su i dalje potrebna za sve posjetitelje iz inozemstva, HKBA je zaključila da nema druge mogućnosti osim otkazivanja turnira.

Hong Kong je jedno od posljednjih mjesta na svijetu koje još uvijek nameće karantenu za dolaske, ali je ranije ovog mjeseca skratio karan...
