U trećem kolu Europske lige cure će se boriti protiv, po mnogima najbolje europske reprezentacije, Mađarske, dok će se momcima na parketu Spaladium Arene suprostaviti vrlo mlada momčad Srbije.
Spektakl je to u organizaciji Stolnoteniskog kluba Split i Hrvatskog stolonoteniskog saveza, te Spaladium Arene. Ivo Goran Munivrana je ispred organizatora izrazio zadovoljstvo što će se ovaj veliki sportski događaj održati u predivnom ambijentu dvorane u Lori.
- Potrudili smo se da organiziramo pravi spektakl, te se nadam kako će Splićani i Splićanke, kao pravi ljubitelji sporta, prepoznati ovaj događaj i u što većem broju doći podržati naše dvije izabrane vrste. Stolni tenis je u hrvatskoj mali sport, ali sa velikom tradicijom i rezultatima i zaslužuje jedan spektakl u najsportskijem gradu na svijetu.
Žensku ekipu predvodi možda i najbolja hrvatska stolnotenisačica svih vremena, Tamara Boroš, koja očekuje vrlo težak i zanimljiv susret s Mađaricama.
- Njih predvodi odlična Krisztina Toth i zbilja imaju jaku ekipu, koja u posljednjih deset godina dominira europskom ekipnom scenom. Nadam se kako će nam splitska publika ponovno pomoći da pružimo dobru igru i dođemo do vrlo vrijedne pobjede - rekla je Tamara, a pod “ponovno u Splitu” Boroš je mislila na susret u prvom kolu Europske lige kada su naše stolnotenisačice pobijedile Rumunjsku, jednu od najboljih svjetskih reprezentacija. Bilo je to 24. veljače 2009. godine u maloj dvorani na Gripama, mjesec dana nakon nesreće koju je doživjela Sandra Paović.
Taj susret je za hrvatske igračica bio posebno emotivno nabijen, a i ovaj večerašnji će imati sličnu priču, samo u veselijoj atmosferi, jer će Sandra danas uz teren bodriti svoje prijateljice i suigračice.
- Prije godinu dana, kada smo pobijedili Rumunjsku na Gripama, Sandra se borila za život i bili su to teški dani za sve nas. Danas je ona u Tuhelju na trećoj fazi rehabilitacije i oporavlja se jako dobro. Njen dolazak na današnji susret će puno značiti njoj samoj, a nama pogotovo jer će njeno prisustvo, vjerujem, dati još veći motiv i poticaj našim curama - rekao je trener ženske hrvatske ekipe Neven Cegnar.
U dva dosadašnja susreta Europske lige reprezentativke imaju polovičan uspjeh. Poraz u gostima kod Italije (3:1), te već spomunutu pobjedu nad Rumunjskom (3:2). Muška reprezentacija, predvođena Zoranom Primorcem koji je već dugi niz godina prvi reket Hrvatske, pokušat će preko Srbije stići do druge pobjede u Europskoj ligi. Oba dosadašnja susreta odigrali su naši reprezentativci u gostima i ostvarili jednu pobjedu. Bili su bolji od Mađarske (3:1), dok su u Francuskoj morali čestitati na pobjedi Francuzima (2:3).
- Kako Srbi dolaze s vrlo mladim sastavom, mislim kako smo mi ipak blagi favoriti. Srpski igrači su jako talentirani i već sada dobri igrači, ali mi igramo kod kuće i imamo više iskustva za koje se nadam da će presuditi u našu korist - rekao nam je trener hrvatske izabrane vrste Zvonimir Korenić.

[bgPosition] => [text] => {OCMSplitter}Festival stolnog tenisa održat će se večeras s početkom u 18 sati u Spaladium Areni. Hrvatska muška i ženska reprezentacija će, po prvi put u povijesti ovog natjecanja, u isto vrijeme i na istom mjestu odigrati susrete Europske lige.
U trećem kolu Europske lige cure će se boriti protiv, po mnogima najbolje europske reprezentacije, Mađarske, dok će se momcima na parketu Spaladium Arene suprostaviti vrlo mlada momčad Srbije.
Spektakl je to u organizaciji Stolnoteniskog kluba Split i Hrvatskog stolonoteniskog saveza, te Spaladium Arene. Ivo Goran Munivrana je ispred organizatora izrazio zadovoljstvo što će se ovaj veliki sportski događaj održati u predivnom ambijentu dvorane u Lori.
- Potrudili smo se da organiziramo pravi spektakl, te se nadam kako će Splićani i Splićanke, kao pravi ljubitelji sporta, prepoznati ovaj događaj i u što većem broju doći podržati naše dvije izabrane vrste. Stolni tenis je u hrvatskoj mali sport, ali sa velikom tradicijom i rezultatima i zaslužuje jedan spektakl u najsportskijem gradu na svijetu.
Žensku ekipu predvodi možda i najbolja hrvatska stolnotenisačica svih vremena, Tamara Boroš, koja očekuje vrlo težak i zanimljiv susret s Mađaricama.
- Njih predvodi odlična Krisztina Toth i zbilja imaju jaku ekipu, koja u posljednjih deset godina dominira europskom ekipnom scenom. Nadam se kako će nam splitska publika ponovno pomoći da pružimo dobru igru i dođemo do vrlo vrijedne pobjede - rekla je Tamara, a pod “ponovno u Splitu” Boroš je mislila na susret u prvom kolu Europske lige kada su naše stolnotenisačice pobijedile Rumunjsku, jednu od najboljih svjetskih reprezentacija. Bilo je to 24. veljače 2009. godine u maloj dvorani na Gripama, mjesec dana nakon nesreće koju je doživjela Sandra Paović.
Taj susret je za hrvatske igračica bio posebno emotivno nabijen, a i ovaj večerašnji će imati sličnu priču, samo u veselijoj atmosferi, jer će Sandra danas uz teren bodriti svoje prijateljice i suigračice.
- Prije godinu dana, kada smo pobijedili Rumunjsku na Gripama, Sandra se borila za život i bili su to teški dani za sve nas. Danas je ona u Tuhelju na trećoj fazi rehabilitacije i oporavlja se jako dobro. Njen dolazak na današnji susret će puno značiti njoj samoj, a nama pogotovo jer će njeno prisustvo, vjerujem, dati još veći motiv i poticaj našim curama - rekao je trener ženske hrvatske ekipe Neven Cegnar.
U dva dosadašnja susreta Europske lige reprezentativke imaju polovičan uspjeh. Poraz u gostima kod Italije (3:1), te već spomunutu pobjedu nad Rumunjskom (3:2). Muška reprezentacija, predvođena Zoranom Primorcem koji je već dugi niz godina prvi reket Hrvatske, pokušat će preko Srbije stići do druge pobjede u Europskoj ligi. Oba dosadašnja susreta odigrali su naši reprezentativci u gostima i ostvarili jednu pobjedu. Bili su bolji od Mađarske (3:1), dok su u Francuskoj morali čestitati na pobjedi Francuzima (2:3).
- Kako Srbi dolaze s vrlo mladim sastavom, mislim kako smo mi ipak blagi favoriti. Srpski igrači su jako talentirani i već sada dobri igrači, ali mi igramo kod kuće i imamo više iskustva za koje se nadam da će presuditi u našu korist - rekao nam je trener hrvatske izabrane vrste Zvonimir Korenić.
