Veslač Damir Martin u samcu pobijedio je u svojoj četvrtfinalnoj skupini i plasirao se u polufinale Olimpijskih igara.

Martin je stazu izveslao za 7.17.71 minuta, ostavivši za minimalno za sedam sekundi mađarskog, japanskog, peruanskog, češkog i kazastanskog skifista. U zadnjih 500 metara Damir se praktički odmarao i čuvao snage za polufinale koje je na rasporedu za tri dana.

"Zadovoljan sam utrkom i mogu reći da je sve bilo po planu. Htio sam ići maksimalno prvih 1500 metara da vidim koliko mogu i to sam odradio kako sam htio. Sad slijedi malo duža pauza od dva dana, a za tri dana bi trebalo početi polufinale. Očekuje se loše vrijeme. Glavni cilj je dobro se oporavit pred polufinale jer će to biti jako teška utrka", kazao je Martin, koji je na OI u Londonu i Rio de Janeiru uzimao srebro.

"Idem iz utrke u utrku. Želje su jedno, a trenutno stanje je dobro i mislim da idem u pravom smjeru za plasman u finale. Ne bavim se konkurencijom, vidim da ima nekih iznenađenja, ali i kod mene ih nema i neće ih biti", zaključio je Damir.

Veslač Damir Martin u samcu pobijedio je u svojoj četvrtfinalnoj skupini i plasirao se u polufinale Olimpijskih igara.

Martin je stazu izveslao za 7.17.71 minuta, ostavivši za minimalno za sedam sekundi mađarskog, japanskog, peruanskog, češkog i kazastanskog skifista. U zadnjih 500 metara Damir se praktički odmarao i čuvao snage za polufinale koje je na rasporedu za tri dana.

"Zadovoljan sam utrkom i mogu reći da je sve bilo po planu. Htio sam ići maksimalno prvih 1500 metara da vidim koliko mogu i to sam odradio kako sam htio. Sad slijedi malo duža pauza od dva dana, a za tri dana bi trebalo početi polufinale. Očekuje se loše vrijeme. Glavni cilj je dobro se oporavit pred polufinale jer će to biti jako teška utrka", kazao je Martin, koji je na OI u Londonu i Rio de Janeiru uzimao srebro.

"Idem iz utrke u utrku. Želje su jedno, a trenutno stanje je dobro i mislim da idem u pravom smjeru za plasman u finale. Ne bavim se konkurencijom, vidim da ima nekih iznenađenja, ali i kod mene ih nema i neće ih biti", zaključio je Damir.

Damir Martin plasirao se u polufinale: Ne bavim se konkurencijom, vidim da ima nekih iznenađenja, ali i kod mene ih nema i neće ih biti

Veslač Damir Martin u samcu pobijedio je u svojoj četvrtfinalnoj skupini i plasirao se u polufinale Olimpijskih igara.

Martin je stazu izveslao za 7.17.71 minuta, ostavivši za minimalno za sedam sekundi mađarskog, japanskog, peruanskog, češkog i kazastanskog skifista. U zadnjih 500 metara Damir se praktički odmarao i čuvao snage za polufinale koje je na rasporedu za tri dana.

"Zadovoljan sam utrkom i mogu reći da je sve bilo po planu. Htio sam ići maksimalno prvih 1500 metara da vidim koliko mogu i to sam odradio kako sam htio. Sad slijedi malo duža pauza od dva dana, a za tri dana bi trebalo početi polufinale. Očekuje se loše vrijeme. Glavni cilj je dobro se oporavit pred polufinale jer će to biti jako teška utrka", kazao je Martin, koji je na OI u Londonu i Rio de Janeiru uzimao...
