Nekadašnja zvijezda ženskog UFC-a Angela Magana nalazi se u komi nakon komplikacija koje je izazvala anestezija tijekom hitnog operativnog zahvata. Trener Gabriel Lamastus je medijima kazao kako je Magane imala problema s leđima i da je osjećala jaku bol dok je trenirala za dvoboj protiv Kyre Batare koji se trebao održati 26. travnja.

Problemi s discus hernijom pojavili su se nakon ozljede koju je zadobila tijekom sparinga 7. travnja, a s daljnjim treninzima bol se pojačavala. Pokušala je s lijekovima i blokadama riješiti problem koji se samo pogoršavao, da bi na kraju izazvao rijetki neurološki poremećaj.

Sve blokade i lijekovi uzrokovali su blokadu živaca i otkrili koliko je leđna moždina oštećena, te je odmah primljena na operaciju. Prije samo zahvata objavila je na Twitteru kako je riječ o rijetkom zahvatu, i da će biti potrebno nekoliko sati oporavka prije nego se "probudi".

No proteklo je puno više od nekoliko sati, prije nego je Lamastus objavio medijima lošu vijest.

- Magana je komi, i sada samo može čekati daljnji razvoj situacije. Operacija je dobro prošla, međutim problem je nastao s anestezijom. Vrlo je rijetko da pacijent ovako reagira kada je u pitanju anestezija, ali se dogodilo, ovo je onaj jedan od milijun slučajeva. Međutim ja sam pozitivan, ona je veliki borac i bit će dobro – kazao je Lamastus.

Komplikacije s anestezijom i nisu baš rijedak slučaj, klinika u Clevelandu je objavila da je jedan od 200.000 pacijenata umre nakon operacije. Istina rizik se sve više smanjuje, ali uvijek postoji. Mediji su iskopali slučaj da je tetka Angele Magana preminula zbog problema s anestezijom.

Osim borbi u UFC-u, Angela Magana je trebala predstavljati Portoriko u hrvanju na Olimpijskim igrama u Tokiju.

Nekadašnja zvijezda ženskog UFC-a Angela Magana nalazi se u komi nakon komplikacija koje je izazvala anestezija tijekom hitnog operativnog zahvata. Trener Gabriel Lamastus je medijima kazao kako je Magane imala problema s leđima i da je osjećala jaku bol dok je trenirala za dvoboj protiv Kyre Batare koji se trebao održati 26. travnja.

Problemi s discus hernijom pojavili su se nakon ozljede koju je zadobila tijekom sparinga 7. travnja, a s daljnjim treninzima bol se pojačavala. Pokušala je s lijekovima i blokadama riješiti problem koji se samo pogoršavao, da bi na kraju izazvao rijetki neurološki poremećaj.

Sve blokade i lijekovi uzrokovali su blokadu živaca i otkrili koliko je leđna moždina oštećena, te je odmah primljena na operaciju. Prije samo zahvata objavila je na Twitteru kako je riječ o rijetkom zahvatu, i da će biti potrebno nekoliko sati oporavka prije nego se "probudi".

No proteklo je puno više od nekoliko sati, prije nego je Lamastus objavio medijima lošu vijest.

- Magana je komi, i sada samo može čekati daljnji razvoj situacije. Operacija je dobro prošla, međutim problem je nastao s anestezijom. Vrlo je rijetko da pacijent ovako reagira kada je u pitanju anestezija, ali se dogodilo, ovo je onaj jedan od milijun slučajeva. Međutim ja sam pozitivan, ona je veliki borac i bit će dobro – kazao je Lamastus.

Komplikacije s anestezijom i nisu baš rijedak slučaj, klinika u Clevelandu je objavila da je jedan od 200.000 pacijenata umre nakon operacije. Istina rizik se sve više smanjuje, ali uvijek postoji. Mediji su iskopali slučaj da je tetka Angele Magana preminula zbog problema s anestezijom.

Osim borbi u UFC-u, Angela Magana je trebala predstavljati Portoriko u hrvanju na Olimpijskim igrama u Tokiju.
