Vlasnik NBA momčadi Brooklyn Netsa Joe Tsai iskazao je podršku glavnom treneru Steveu Nashu i glavnom menadžeru Seanu Marksu, nakon što su mediji objavili vijest da mu je Kevin Durant postavio ultimatum u kojem je od njega tražio da se odluči između njega i spomenute dvojice. 

"Naša administracija i treneri imaju moju podršku. Donijet ćemo odluke koje će biti najbolje za Brooklyn Netse", objavio je Tsai na Twitteru.

Sportski portal "The Athletic" u ponedjeljak je objavio vijest da se najveća zvijezda momčadi, 33-godišnji košarkaš Kevin Durant, sastao s Tsaijem u Londonu i tijekom razgvora izrazio nepovjerenje u sadašnje vodstvo momčadi te zatražio od vlasnika Netsa da iz smijeni ili da njega razmijeni u neku drugu momčad.

Durant je već krajem lipnja, uoči početka razdoblja za igrače prijelaze u NBA ligi, šokirao javnost zahtjevom da bude poslan u neku drugu momčad. Naime, pred njim je prva od četiri sezone dodatka prijašnjem ugovoru s Netsima, prema kojem bi Durant trebao zaraditi 198 milijuna američkih dolara.

Durant je u Netse prešao prije tri godine iz Golden State Warriorsa, s kojima je dvaput bio prvak (2017. i 2018.) i oba puta proglašavan najboljim igračem  NBA finala, da bi u finalu 2019. doživio tešku ozljedu Ahilove tetive.

Netsi su Duranta pridružili Kyrieju Irvingu, a u siječnju 2021. doveli su i Jamesa Hardena iz Houstona sastavivši svoju "veliku trojicu" u nadi da će biti konkurentni za naslov. No, što zbog ozljeda i Irvingove zabrane nastupa jer se ne želi cijepiti protiv Covida-19, tri zvijezde su za Netse zajedno nastupile u samo 16 utakmica 

U klub je 2020. za trenera stigao Steve Nash kako bi zamijenio tadašnjeg glavnog trenera Kennyja Atkinsona, što je bio iznenađujući potez s obzirom na trenersko neiskustvo nekadašnjeg sjajnog razigravača.

Nash je u dvije sezone na kormilu Netsa ostvario učinak od 92 pobjede i 62 poraza, a u doigravanju nisu otišli dalje od polufinala Istočne konferencije. U sezoni 2020./2021. Brooklyn je poražen u sedam utakmica konferencijskog polufinala od kasnijih NBA prvaka Milwaukee Bucksa, da bi prošle sezone, uoči koje su bili proglašavani jednim od glavnih favorita, završili svoj put već u prvom kolu, u kojem su ih "pomeli" Boston Celticsi.

Tada već u klubu nije bilo Jamesa Hardena, koji je 10. veljače ove godine poslan u Philadelphiju, iz koje je u Netse stigao nekadašnji prvi izbor NBA drafta (2016.) Australac Ben Simmons, ali navijači Brooklyna još uvijek čekaju na njegov prvi nastup.

Pred vodstvom Netsa su nove velike odluke, jer bi ovo mogla biti i zadnja sezona u kojoj u svom kadru imaju Kyrieja Irvinga. Naime, s Irvingom nije postignut dogovor o dugoročnom produženju vjernosti Netsima pa je on odlučio aktivirati zadnju godinu iz prijašnjeg ugovora koja mu donosi 36,9 milijuna USD. No, u ljeto 2023. Irving postaje slobodan igrač.

Vlasnik NBA momčadi Brooklyn Netsa Joe Tsai iskazao je podršku glavnom treneru Steveu Nashu i glavnom menadžeru Seanu Marksu, nakon što su mediji objavili vijest da mu je Kevin Durant postavio ultimatum u kojem je od njega tražio da se odluči između njega i spomenute dvojice. 

"Naša administracija i treneri imaju moju podršku. Donijet ćemo odluke koje će biti najbolje za Brooklyn Netse", objavio je Tsai na Twitteru.

Sportski portal "The Athletic" u ponedjeljak je objavio vijest da se najveća zvijezda momčadi, 33-godišnji košarkaš Kevin Durant, sastao s Tsaijem u Londonu i tijekom razgvora izrazio nepovjerenje u sadašnje vodstvo momčadi te zatražio od vlasnika Netsa da iz smijeni ili da njega razmijeni u neku drugu momčad.

Durant je već krajem lipnja, uoči početka razdoblja za igrače prijelaze u NBA ligi, šokirao javnost zahtjevom da bude poslan u neku drugu momčad. Naime, pred njim je prva od četiri sezone dodatka prijašnjem ugovoru s Netsima, prema kojem bi Durant trebao zaraditi 198 milijuna američkih dolara.

Durant je u Netse prešao prije tri godine iz Golden State Warriorsa, s kojima je dvaput bio prvak (2017. i 2018.) i oba puta proglašavan najboljim igračem  NBA finala, da bi u finalu 2019. doživio tešku ozljedu Ahilove tetive.

Netsi su Duranta pridružili Kyrieju Irvingu, a u siječnju 2021. doveli su i Jamesa Hardena iz Houstona sastavivši svoju "veliku trojicu" u nadi da će biti konkurentni za naslov. No, što zbog ozljeda i Irvingove zabrane nastupa jer se ne želi cijepiti protiv Covida-19, tri zvijezde su za Netse zajedno nastupile u samo 16 utakmica 

U klub je 2020. za trenera stigao Steve Nash kako bi zamijenio tadašnjeg glavnog trenera Kennyja Atkinsona, što je bio iznenađujući potez s obzirom na trenersko neiskustvo nekadašnjeg sjajnog razigravača.

Nash je u dvije sezone na kormilu Netsa ostvario učinak od 92 pobjede i 62 poraza, a u doigravanju nisu otišli dalje od polufinala Istočne konferencije. U sezoni 2020./2021. Brooklyn je poražen u sedam utakmica konferencijskog polufinala od kasnijih NBA prvaka Milwaukee Bucksa, da bi prošle sezone, uoči koje su bili proglašavani jednim od glavnih favorita, završili svoj put već u prvom kolu, u kojem su ih "pomeli" Boston Celticsi.

Tada već u klubu nije bilo Jamesa Hardena, koji je 10. veljače ove godine poslan u Philadelphiju, iz koje je u Netse stigao nekadašnji prvi izbor NBA drafta (2016.) Australac Ben Simmons, ali navijači Brooklyna još uvijek čekaju na njegov prvi nastup.

Pred vodstvom Netsa su nove velike odluke, jer bi ovo mogla biti i zadnja sezona u kojoj u svom kadru imaju Kyrieja Irvinga. Naime, s Irvingom nije postignut dogovor o dugoročnom produženju vjernosti Netsima pa je on odlučio aktivirati zadnju godinu iz prijašnjeg ugovora koja mu donosi 36,9 milijuna USD. No, u ljeto 2023. Irving postaje slobodan igrač.

Vlasnik Netsa nije popustio pred Durantovim ultimatumom: ‘Naša administracija i treneri imaju moju podršku‘

Vlasnik NBA momčadi Brooklyn Netsa Joe Tsai iskazao je podršku glavnom treneru Steveu Nashu i glavnom menadžeru Seanu Marksu, nakon što su mediji objavili vijest da mu je Kevin Durant postavio ultimatum u kojem je od njega tražio da se odluči između njega i spomenute dvojice. 

"Naša administracija i treneri imaju moju podršku. Donijet ćemo odluke koje će biti najbolje za Brooklyn Netse", objavio je Tsai na Twitteru.

Sportski portal "The Athletic" u ponedjeljak je objavio vijest da se najveća zvijezda momčadi, 33-godišnji košarkaš Kevin Durant, sastao s Tsaijem u Londonu i tijekom razgvora izrazio nepovjerenje u sadašnje vodstvo momčadi te zatražio od vlasnika Netsa da iz smijeni ili da njega razmijeni u neku drugu momčad.

Durant je već krajem lipnja, uoči početka razdo...
