Čudnovata, najblaže rečeno, odluka da Toni Kukoč u ovogodišnjem izboru ne bude primljen u košarkaški Hall of Fame u američkom Springfieldu, mnoge je iznenadila. Kukoč je bio nominiran, ali nije prošao, počast je ispred njega dobio pokojni Patrick Baumann, Švicarac koji je preminuo u dobi od 51 godine, a bio je na čelu FIBA.

Kukoču se dogodi da ga svaki put preskoče, a to je ponukalo Božidara Maljkovića da nam prenese svoj gorak dojam:

- Toni je čovjek koji uvijek uradi nemoguće. On asistira u nemogućoj situaciji. Daje nemoguće koševe. Osvoji nemoguće titule. Sada, opet je uspio nešto nemoguće, nije primljen u Hall of Fame!? Meni kao „subjektivnom” teško je razumjeti odluku „objektivnih” koji smatraju da mu još nije vrijeme za tako veliku počast. Ja kao „subjektivan” pamtim igrača koji je osvojio – sve. Tonija Kukoča.

Jasna je poruka Bože Maljkovića, autora šampionske Jugoplastike s Kukočem koja je taman danas, prije 31 godinu kročila na tron Starog kontinenta. U Hall of Fame primaju su Amerikanci (čak osmero ove godine, među njima i poginuli Kobe Bryant), te jedan iz međunarodne kvote; 2018. je ušao Dino Rađa, 2019. Vlade Divac, 2017. primljen je Grk Nikos Galis... i da ne nabrajamo.

A kad će Kukoč? Opet nije. Taj jedan iz kvote „stranaca” ove je godine rečeni Baumann, jadan čovjek, posmrtno, a zaslužan za razvoj košarke. Kukoč? Maljković je do kraja komentirao:

- Rekoh da je Toni jedini koji je osvojio sve, neponovljivi, prvi. Još jedan „subjektivni” koji se ne razumije u košarku kao što je Michael Jordan kaže da je Toni najbolji igrač koga je Europa dala u NBA. Dakle, ne Nowitzki, ne Parker, ne Divac... već Toni. Ne znam, možda Toni nije vičan lobiranju... Ili ga to ni ne zanima... Ja znam gdje mu je mjesto. A ove čudne odluke ne štete Toniju već košarci – poentirao je Božidar Maljković.

Jasna je Maljkovićeva poruka, a mi bismo dodali: pravda je spora, ali dostižna, nadajmo se devetom pokušaju i da Kukoč konačno uđe tamo gdje mu je već odavna mjesto.

Čudnovata, najblaže rečeno, odluka da Toni Kukoč u ovogodišnjem izboru ne bude primljen u košarkaški Hall of Fame u američkom Springfieldu, mnoge je iznenadila. Kukoč je bio nominiran, ali nije prošao, počast je ispred njega dobio pokojni Patrick Baumann, Švicarac koji je preminuo u dobi od 51 godine, a bio je na čelu FIBA.

Kukoču se dogodi da ga svaki put preskoče, a to je ponukalo Božidara Maljkovića da nam prenese svoj gorak dojam:

- Toni je čovjek koji uvijek uradi nemoguće. On asistira u nemogućoj situaciji. Daje nemoguće koševe. Osvoji nemoguće titule. Sada, opet je uspio nešto nemoguće, nije primljen u Hall of Fame!? Meni kao „subjektivnom” teško je razumjeti odluku „objektivnih” koji smatraju da mu još nije vrijeme za tako veliku počast. Ja kao „subjektivan” pamtim igrača koji je osvojio – sve. Tonija Kukoča.

Jasna je poruka Bože Maljkovića, autora šampionske Jugoplastike s Kukočem koja je taman danas, prije 31 godinu kročila na tron Starog kontinenta. U Hall of Fame primaju su Amerikanci (čak osmero ove godine, među njima i poginuli Kobe Bryant), te jedan iz međunarodne kvote; 2018. je ušao Dino Rađa, 2019. Vlade Divac, 2017. primljen je Grk Nikos Galis... i da ne nabrajamo.

A kad će Kukoč? Opet nije. Taj jedan iz kvote „stranaca” ove je godine rečeni Baumann, jadan čovjek, posmrtno, a zaslužan za razvoj košarke. Kukoč? Maljković je do kraja komentirao:

- Rekoh da je Toni jedini koji je osvojio sve, neponovljivi, prvi. Još jedan „subjektivni” koji se ne razumije u košarku kao što je Michael Jordan kaže da je Toni najbolji igrač koga je Europa dala u NBA. Dakle, ne Nowitzki, ne Parker, ne Divac... već Toni. Ne znam, možda Toni nije vičan lobiranju... Ili ga to ni ne zanima... Ja znam gdje mu je mjesto. A ove čudne odluke ne štete Toniju već košarci – poentirao je Božidar Maljković.

Jasna je Maljkovićeva poruka, a mi bismo dodali: pravda je spora, ali dostižna, nadajmo se devetom pokušaju i da Kukoč konačno uđe tamo gdje mu je već odavna mjesto.

Čudnovata, najblaže rečeno, odluka da Toni Kukoč u ovogodišnjem izboru ne bude primljen u košarkaški Hall of Fame u američkom Springfieldu, mnoge je iznenadila. Kukoč je bio nominiran, ali nije prošao, počast je ispred njega dobio pokojni Patrick Baumann, Švicarac koji je preminuo u dobi od 51 godine, a bio je na čelu FIBA.

Kukoču se dogodi da ga svaki put preskoče, a to je ponukalo Božidara Maljkovića da nam prenese svoj gorak dojam:

- Toni je čovjek koji uvijek uradi nemoguće. On asistira u nemogućoj situaciji. Daje nemoguće koševe. Osvoji nemoguće titule. Sada, opet je uspio nešto nemoguće, nije primljen u Hall of Fame!? Meni kao „subjektivnom” teško je razumjeti odluku „objektivnih” koji smatraju da mu još nije vrijeme za tako veliku počast. Ja kao „subjektivan” pamti...
