U prvom dijelu sezone Split se na gostovanju kod Cibone smrznuo na čak minus 30. Na "uzvratu" na gotovo pa punim Gripama sinoć je bilo plus osam za "žute", ali osjet topline bio je mnogo veći. Što zbog dojma na parketu gdje je Split kao rijetko zadnjih godina izdominirao aktualnog prvaka, što zbog atmosfere na tribinama.

Istina, izdao je istina šut Cibonu kao najgoreg neprijatelja. Nakon što su dvije večeri prije istorpedirali Zadra tricama, na Gripama su ih gađali samo 9,7 posto! Ajme. No, to ne umanjuje pobjedu sastava trenera Ivice Skelina. A posebna je priča bio jedan od junaka pobjede, centar Antonio Vranković. Stojkov sin nije promašio iz igre, imao je 20 skokova i 12 skokova. Ima svakako velikog prostora za napredak u obrambenom dijelu, ali je Ante brzo osvojio publiku.

- Vranković je iznenađenje, kako i za mene tako i za vas. Nismo dosad imali kriterij po kojem bismo ga mogli vrednovati. Iako je bio na top sveučilištu nije igrao (nap.a. Duke), a španjolska treća liga (nap.a. druga momčad Gran Canarije) ipak nije u rangu ove Hrvatske. Bio je jedan od dva ključna igrača. Odlična je bila njegova energija. Nadam se samo da će nastavit ovako – rekao je Skelin.

U najavi ste rekli da je za pobjedu potrebna inspiracija igrača plus publika?

- Publika nas je nosila. Malo smo bili sramežljivi, vidi se da nismo navikli igrati pred malo većim brojem ljudi. U drugom dijelu publika nas je nosila, to se vidjelo na parketu – kazao je strateg "žutih".

"Trica" pred doigravanje je sve bliže, ali apetiti sada rastu, u prvenstvu i u kupu?

- Ja bih želio prvo vidjeti kompletnu momčad, da malo treniramo skupa (nap.a. nedostaju Marčinković, Kalajžić, Perasović...). Imamo još puno prostora za napredak - kazao je Skelin.

Gostujući strateg Ivan Velić čestitao je Splitu na pobjedi i atmosferi.

- Bilo je super igrati u ovoj atmosferi i uz ovakvo navijanje. To je super za hrvatsku košarku. Mi nismo postojali u kontakt igri. To najviše zamjeram igračima. Može se šut promašiti. Nismo mi igrali ni prvo poluvrijeme dobro, ali smo držali egal. U drugom dijelu smo igrali još nervoznije, promašili smo sve živo.

Šut za tricu vaše momčadi bio je 3/31?

- Da su to igrači NBA kalibara teško je svaku noć isporučivat. Protiv Zadra smo imali šut za tricu 16/32, ali nije to razlog poraza. Glavni razlog je što nismo imali energije – rekao je Velić.

U prvom dijelu sezone dobili ste Split 30 razlike. Koliko je Split sada drugačija momčad?

- Split ima iskusnog trenera koji zna što želi, tri nova igrača, iskusna. Pogotovo Washington koji je promijenio krvnu sliku momčadi. Split je maksimalno ozbiljan, može se "pokokati" sa svima u hrvatskoj ligi, i sa Zadrom i s Cibonom – smatra Velić.

U prvom dijelu sezone Split se na gostovanju kod Cibone smrznuo na čak minus 30. Na "uzvratu" na gotovo pa punim Gripama sinoć je bilo plus osam za "žute", ali osjet topline bio je mnogo veći. Što zbog dojma na parketu gdje je Split kao rijetko zadnjih godina izdominirao aktualnog prvaka, što zbog atmosfere na tribinama.

Istina, izdao je istina šut Cibonu kao najgoreg neprijatelja. Nakon što su dvije večeri prije istorpedirali Zadra tricama, na Gripama su ih gađali samo 9,7 posto! Ajme. No, to ne umanjuje pobjedu sastava trenera Ivice Skelina. A posebna je priča bio jedan od junaka pobjede, centar Antonio Vranković. Stojkov sin nije promašio iz igre, imao je 20 skokova i 12 skokova. Ima svakako velikog prostora za napredak u obrambenom dijelu, ali je Ante brzo osvojio publiku.

- Vranković je iznenađenje, kako i za mene tako i za vas. Nismo dosad imali kriterij po kojem bismo ga mogli vrednovati. Iako je bio na top sveučilištu nije igrao (nap.a. Duke), a španjolska treća liga (nap.a. druga momčad Gran Canarije) ipak nije u rangu ove Hrvatske. Bio je jedan od dva ključna igrača. Odlična je bila njegova energija. Nadam se samo da će nastavit ovako – rekao je Skelin.

U najavi ste rekli da je za pobjedu potrebna inspiracija igrača plus publika?

- Publika nas je nosila. Malo smo bili sramežljivi, vidi se da nismo navikli igrati pred malo većim brojem ljudi. U drugom dijelu publika nas je nosila, to se vidjelo na parketu – kazao je strateg "žutih".

"Trica" pred doigravanje je sve bliže, ali apetiti sada rastu, u prvenstvu i u kupu?

- Ja bih želio prvo vidjeti kompletnu momčad, da malo treniramo skupa (nap.a. nedostaju Marčinković, Kalajžić, Perasović...). Imamo još puno prostora za napredak - kazao je Skelin.

Gostujući strateg Ivan Velić čestitao je Splitu na pobjedi i atmosferi.

- Bilo je super igrati u ovoj atmosferi i uz ovakvo navijanje. To je super za hrvatsku košarku. Mi nismo postojali u kontakt igri. To najviše zamjeram igračima. Može se šut promašiti. Nismo mi igrali ni prvo poluvrijeme dobro, ali smo držali egal. U drugom dijelu smo igrali još nervoznije, promašili smo sve živo.

Šut za tricu vaše momčadi bio je 3/31?

- Da su to igrači NBA kalibara teško je svaku noć isporučivat. Protiv Zadra smo imali šut za tricu 16/32, ali nije to razlog poraza. Glavni razlog je što nismo imali energije – rekao je Velić.

U prvom dijelu sezone dobili ste Split 30 razlike. Koliko je Split sada drugačija momčad?

- Split ima iskusnog trenera koji zna što želi, tri nova igrača, iskusna. Pogotovo Washington koji je promijenio krvnu sliku momčadi. Split je maksimalno ozbiljan, može se "pokokati" sa svima u hrvatskoj ligi, i sa Zadrom i s Cibonom – smatra Velić.

U prvom dijelu sezone Split se na gostovanju kod Cibone smrznuo na čak minus 30. Na "uzvratu" na gotovo pa punim Gripama sinoć je bilo plus osam za "žute", ali osjet topline bio je mnogo veći. Što zbog dojma na parketu gdje je Split kao rijetko zadnjih godina izdominirao aktualnog prvaka, što zbog atmosfere na tribinama.

Istina, izdao je istina šut Cibonu kao najgoreg neprijatelja. Nakon što su dvije večeri prije istorpedirali Zadra tricama, na Gripama su ih gađali samo 9,7 posto! Ajme. No, to ne umanjuje pobjedu sastava trenera Ivice Skelina. A posebna je priča bio jedan od junaka pobjede, centar Antonio Vranković. Stojkov sin nije promašio iz igre, imao je 20 skokova i 12 skokova. Ima svakako velikog prostora za napredak u obrambenom dijelu, ali je Ante brzo osvojio publiku....
