Poznata je priča o tome kako je nekadašnji jugoslavenski nogometni reprezentativac i igrač madridskog Reala, Predrag Mijatović trebao igrati u - Hajduku. Nije bilo daleko od gotovog posla te 1989. godine, no onda je ipak prešao u redove beogradskog Partizana. Kako to da ipak nije osvanuo na Poljudu, u Hajdukovu dresu, pitaju se Sportske novosti.

- Upozorili su nas na ono što će se dogoditi koju godinu kasnije. Partizan je bio vojni klub i jedan od starijih klupskih čelnika i oficir JNA mojem ocu i meni je rekao da mogu ići gdje god želim, da je Hajduk odlična ekipa, ali da će se neke stvari dogoditi u zemlji za koju godinu. Nisam mogao govoriti o tome u tom trenutku. Mislio sam da me žele samo zaplašiti kako bih potpisao za Partizan, ali imao je pravo. Ipak, moj otac je bio za Partizan i, iako je cijenio sve što je napravio Hajduk, zahvalio se Splićanima, vratio im novac i poslao me u Beograd - rekao je Mijatović za španjolski Jot Down.

Ratno stanje koje će uslijediti odvelo ga je od Splita, a neki novac je prethodno bio u pitanju. Isti onaj kojeg je njegov otac vratio Hajduku.

- Platili su mi unaprijed, a ja sam taj novac vratio tehničkom direktoru Hajduka kada je polog od Partizana stigao. S prvim novcima sam, istina, kupio auto, ali nije to bio BMW nego Renault Turbo i imao sam nesreću s njim.

Mijatović je dakle, kasnije igrao u tandemu s našim Davorom Šukerom u madridskom Realu.

- Moj transfer je bio najskuplji u povijesti španjolskog nogometa. Šuker i ja smo se jako dobro razumjeli. Raul se znao žaliti Capellu da mu ne dodajemo loptu i da samo međusobno igramo. Bilo je u tome istine. Sada to mogu reći - prisjeća se.

Poznata je priča o tome kako je nekadašnji jugoslavenski nogometni reprezentativac i igrač madridskog Reala, Predrag Mijatović trebao igrati u - Hajduku. Nije bilo daleko od gotovog posla te 1989. godine, no onda je ipak prešao u redove beogradskog Partizana. Kako to da ipak nije osvanuo na Poljudu, u Hajdukovu dresu, pitaju se Sportske novosti.

- Upozorili su nas na ono što će se dogoditi koju godinu kasnije. Partizan je bio vojni klub i jedan od starijih klupskih čelnika i oficir JNA mojem ocu i meni je rekao da mogu ići gdje god želim, da je Hajduk odlična ekipa, ali da će se neke stvari dogoditi u zemlji za koju godinu. Nisam mogao govoriti o tome u tom trenutku. Mislio sam da me žele samo zaplašiti kako bih potpisao za Partizan, ali imao je pravo. Ipak, moj otac je bio za Partizan i, iako je cijenio sve što je napravio Hajduk, zahvalio se Splićanima, vratio im novac i poslao me u Beograd - rekao je Mijatović za španjolski Jot Down.

Ratno stanje koje će uslijediti odvelo ga je od Splita, a neki novac je prethodno bio u pitanju. Isti onaj kojeg je njegov otac vratio Hajduku.

- Platili su mi unaprijed, a ja sam taj novac vratio tehničkom direktoru Hajduka kada je polog od Partizana stigao. S prvim novcima sam, istina, kupio auto, ali nije to bio BMW nego Renault Turbo i imao sam nesreću s njim.

Mijatović je dakle, kasnije igrao u tandemu s našim Davorom Šukerom u madridskom Realu.

- Moj transfer je bio najskuplji u povijesti španjolskog nogometa. Šuker i ja smo se jako dobro razumjeli. Raul se znao žaliti Capellu da mu ne dodajemo loptu i da samo međusobno igramo. Bilo je u tome istine. Sada to mogu reći - prisjeća se.
