Luka Bonačić, stari Splićanin i hajdukovac, legenda je – Varteksa. Varaždina, kako hoćete. Znamo da su Varaždin i Varteks danas dva različita kluba i pravimo mi razliku, ali kad se spomene prvoligaš iz grada baroka (sve dok i Varteks jednog dana ne uđe u prvu ligu), treći Luka od Hajduka poveznica je s njima.
Zašto treći? Pa ispred su, držimo, Kaliterna i Peruzović, a Bonačić ima svoje istaknuto mjesto.
- Pratim ja sve, gledam. I čekam. Korona je puno toga promijenila, ubila. Ako ne gledam utakmice, onda šetam, po Zapadnoj obali. Profa Akrap i ja. Volimo pješačit po svome Splitu. Trideset godina sam bio vanka, pa neka me malo i doma.
Bonačić ima 66 godina, nije malo, ali ni puno:
- Nisam još rekao završnu riječ, znate kakvih ima trenera, možeš biti mlad, a star si. Ali možeš biti star, a još si zapravo mlad.
Luka je u toj drugoj skupini:
- Igrač objesi kopačke, sudac zviždaljku, a trener štopericu... E, ja još neću obisit štopericu o klin. Lani nakon što sam vodio Varaždin, bio sam u Iranu tri mjeseca, Zobahan. Korona je sredila da Iran više ne prima strane trenere, pa sam sad doma. Dokle, vidjet ćemo.
Dok netko ne zovne. Kakav vam je Hajduk, kakav Varaždin?
- Otkad sam ja bio ono lani u Varaždinu nabavili su 20 novih igrača, promijenili momčad. To sve govori. Hajduk? Jesmo li napokon krenuli? Nadam se da jesmo. Livaja je posebna vrijednost, ja sam ga intenzivno pratio dvije godine.
Kako ste ga pratili?
- Preko televizije, jer on mi je posebno drag igrač, ima u sebi dišpet, moć, nešto svoje, naše. Gledao sam posebno zbog njega utakmice AEK-a. Livaja je nešto najbolje što se moglo dogodit Hajduku. On je ono što nismo imali.
A to je?
- Kvaliteta.
Hoćete li na tribine danas, da vas stave u kvotu Hajduk ili Varaždin?
- Nisam na to promislio, gledam ja sve na televiziji. Jeste li vidjeli kako je Rijeka pukla?! Tako je to, ide, ide, ide i onda – puf. Dobro, sad novi trener i njima donosi nešto novo.
Umro je Zlatko Kranjčar, bili ste s njim povezani?
- Jesam, odličan čovik. Pratili smo se Cico i ja u dijelu trenerske karijere, ja u Muri, on u Muri, pa u iranskom Sepahanu, došli smo jedan poslije drugoga, u Al Ahliju u Kataru isto, onda u Emiratima smo bili u isto doba. Na pameti mi je tužna istina: sve nas je manje.
Varaždin budi posebne uspomene?
- Svakako. Govori mi jedan prijatelj, sjećaš se kad ste se ono slikali kao momčad na Peristilu? Moj Varteks, koji je mogao sutradan postati prvak Hrvatske u Poljudu protiv Hajduka. E, pa ima 25 godina od toga! Kvarat stoljeća. Moj čovik, leti vrime...

Luka Bonačić, stari Splićanin i hajdukovac, legenda je – Varteksa. Varaždina, kako hoćete. Znamo da su Varaždin i Varteks danas dva različita kluba i pravimo mi razliku, ali kad se spomene prvoligaš iz grada baroka (sve dok i Varteks jednog dana ne uđe u prvu ligu), treći Luka od Hajduka poveznica je s njima.
Zašto treći? Pa ispred su, držimo, Kaliterna i Peruzović, a Bonačić ima svoje istaknuto mjesto.
- Pratim ja sve, gledam. I čekam. Korona je puno toga promijenila, ubila. Ako ne gledam utakmice, onda šetam, po Zapadnoj obali. Profa Akrap i ja. Volimo pješačit po svome Splitu. Trideset godina sam bio vanka, pa neka me malo i doma.
Bonačić ima 66 godina, nije malo, ali ni puno:
- Nisam još rekao završnu riječ, znate kakvih ima trenera, možeš biti mlad, a star si. Ali možeš biti star, a još si zapravo mlad.
Luka je u toj drugoj skupini:
- Igrač objesi kopačke, sudac zviždaljku, a trener štopericu... E, ja još neću obisit štopericu o klin. Lani nakon što sam vodio Varaždin, bio sam u Iranu tri mjeseca, Zobahan. Korona je sredila da Iran više ne prima strane trenere, pa sam sad doma. Dokle, vidjet ćemo.
Dok netko ne zovne. Kakav vam je Hajduk, kakav Varaždin?
- Otkad sam ja bio ono lani u Varaždinu nabavili su 20 novih igrača, promijenili momčad. To sve govori. Hajduk? Jesmo li napokon krenuli? Nadam se da jesmo. Livaja je posebna vrijednost, ja sam ga intenzivno pratio dvije godine.
Kako ste ga pratili?
- Preko televizije, jer on mi je posebno drag igrač, ima u sebi dišpet, moć, nešto svoje, naše. Gledao sam posebno zbog njega utakmice AEK-a. Livaja je nešto najbolje što se moglo dogodit Hajduku. On je ono što nismo imali.
A to je?
- Kvaliteta.
Hoćete li na tribine danas, da vas stave u kvotu Hajduk ili Varaždin?
- Nisam na to promislio, gledam ja sve na televiziji. Jeste li vidjeli kako je Rijeka pukla?! Tako je to, ide, ide, ide i onda – puf. Dobro, sad novi trener i njima donosi nešto novo.
Umro je Zlatko Kranjčar, bili ste s njim povezani?
- Jesam, odličan čovik. Pratili smo se Cico i ja u dijelu trenerske karijere, ja u Muri, on u Muri, pa u iranskom Sepahanu, došli smo jedan poslije drugoga, u Al Ahliju u Kataru isto, onda u Emiratima smo bili u isto doba. Na pameti mi je tužna istina: sve nas je manje.
Varaždin budi posebne uspomene?
- Svakako. Govori mi jedan prijatelj, sjećaš se kad ste se ono slikali kao momčad na Peristilu? Moj Varteks, koji je mogao sutradan postati prvak Hrvatske u Poljudu protiv Hajduka. E, pa ima 25 godina od toga! Kvarat stoljeća. Moj čovik, leti vrime...
