U Bruxellesu kao da se dogodilo nešto najnormalnije, 2:0 za Anderlecht. Trener domaćih Ariel Jacobs je rekao:

- Ušli smo u ovu utakmicu s pravim mentalitetom, znali smo da najprije mi moramo svoje odraditi pa ćemo onda iščekivati rasplet situacije u Ateni. Bilo nam je bitno što prije da postignemo gol, da nas ne uhvati nervoza. Momčad je odgovorila pozitivno, nadigrali smo Hajduka i na kraju dočekali radost! Zaslužili smo ovaj uspjeh, Zenit je uvijek pobjeđivao sve, a mi smo tvrdili da smo odmah do njih. Rekao sam igračima na odmoru da Zenit vodi, bolje da znaju nego da osluškuju vijesti s tribina i gledaju ponašanje publike. U ovoj priči Hajduk uopće nije bio važan, samo naša pobjeda iskupljenja za našu slabiju predstavu prošlog vikenda protiv Lokerena i da dočekamo sretne vijesti iz Grčke – Jacobs je sjao od sreće.

S aspekta Hajduka Goran Vučević je potvrdio kako se još jednom pokazalo da je u ovako ozbiljnim utakmicama iskustvo presudan faktor:

- Igrači Andrlechta bolje su djelovali, nadigrali su nas, očito je da su iskusniji a i stanje na igralištu im je odgovoralo, mi se apsolutno nismo snašli niti smo mogli parirati. Oni su po teškom terenu forsirali nabacivanja i skakanja, borili smo se koliko smo mogli, nemam zamjerki na trud svojih igrača, dapače, ali nas je opet jedna, kako ja volim reći, kardinalna greška odvela u poraz. I to vrlo brzo, nakon samo 12 minuta igre.

Nije li Vučević ipak malo razočaran ovakvom mršavom igrom Hajduka?

- Igrači se nisu snašli kako treba po snijegu. Mi im jednostavno nismo mogli parirati. Mi smo mlada momčad kojoj ovakve utakmice dobro dođu za stjecanje iskustva. Nadam se da ćemo biti bolji dogodine. Mogao je Vukušić dati gol u finišu, popravio bi rezultat ali ovo je objektivno naše stanje, takvo kakvo jest – rekao je Vučević.

U Bruxellesu kao da se dogodilo nešto najnormalnije, 2:0 za Anderlecht. Trener domaćih Ariel Jacobs je rekao:

- Ušli smo u ovu utakmicu s pravim mentalitetom, znali smo da najprije mi moramo svoje odraditi pa ćemo onda iščekivati rasplet situacije u Ateni. Bilo nam je bitno što prije da postignemo gol, da nas ne uhvati nervoza. Momčad je odgovorila pozitivno, nadigrali smo Hajduka i na kraju dočekali radost! Zaslužili smo ovaj uspjeh, Zenit je uvijek pobjeđivao sve, a mi smo tvrdili da smo odmah do njih. Rekao sam igračima na odmoru da Zenit vodi, bolje da znaju nego da osluškuju vijesti s tribina i gledaju ponašanje publike. U ovoj priči Hajduk uopće nije bio važan, samo naša pobjeda iskupljenja za našu slabiju predstavu prošlog vikenda protiv Lokerena i da dočekamo sretne vijesti iz Grčke – Jacobs je sjao od sreće.

S aspekta Hajduka Goran Vučević je potvrdio kako se još jednom pokazalo da je u ovako ozbiljnim utakmicama iskustvo presudan faktor:

- Igrači Andrlechta bolje su djelovali, nadigrali su nas, očito je da su iskusniji a i stanje na igralištu im je odgovoralo, mi se apsolutno nismo snašli niti smo mogli parirati. Oni su po teškom terenu forsirali nabacivanja i skakanja, borili smo se koliko smo mogli, nemam zamjerki na trud svojih igrača, dapače, ali nas je opet jedna, kako ja volim reći, kardinalna greška odvela u poraz. I to vrlo brzo, nakon samo 12 minuta igre.

Nije li Vučević ipak malo razočaran ovakvom mršavom igrom Hajduka?

- Igrači se nisu snašli kako treba po snijegu. Mi im jednostavno nismo mogli parirati. Mi smo mlada momčad kojoj ovakve utakmice dobro dođu za stjecanje iskustva. Nadam se da ćemo biti bolji dogodine. Mogao je Vukušić dati gol u finišu, popravio bi rezultat ali ovo je objektivno naše stanje, takvo kakvo jest – rekao je Vučević.
