Press konferenciju momčad Villarreala uoči uzvrata s Hajdukom odradila je u svom trening kampu, nije bilo uobičajene presice momčadi po dolasku u Split jer će Španjolci tek večeras uopće stići u Hrvatsku. Neće momčad trenera Unaija Emery niti odraditi trening na Poljudu prije utakmice. Na presici kojoj su i hrvatski mediji mogli sudjelovati online putem je uz Emeryja bio i jedan od najboljih stopera Primere, ali i šire, Pau Torres. Iz prvog susreta Villarreal ima prednost 4:2.

- Pripremali smo za ovu utakmicu, obratili smo pažnju na detalje. Odradili smo jako dobar posao u prvoj utakmici u Valenciji, ali moramo igrati kao da nemamo taj rezultat iz prvog susreta – naglasio je Torres koji po Transfermarktu vrijedi 50 milijuna eura.

Na pitanje o napravljenim pogreškama koje su u Villarrealu spominjali nakon prvog susreta s Hajdukom Torres je pohvalio Hajduk.

- Momčad je to koju čim pustite jako dobro barata loptom, mogu te otjerati u tvoju polovicu terena. Imaju dobar presing, a dobri su i po bokovima. Moramo od početka zaigrati jako – rekao je Torres.

Svaku priču kako Villarreal neće ozbiljno shvaćati Konferencijsku ligu je još jednom i uoči uzvrata play offa odbacio Torres pričajući o tome kako ova momčad raste iz sezone u sezonu.

- Ovo nam je već treća sezona u kojoj imamo određeni koncept igre. Imamo kralježnicu momčadi koja je ostala na okupu, ali imamo i neke nove igrače. Želimo nastaviti dobre rezultate u Europi – kazao je Torres.

Villarreal čeka pun Poljud, ali Španjolci su jako iskusni.

- Igrali smo u gostima već neke jako važne susrete. Uostalom, već smo dobili i dva ligaška susreta u gostima ove sezone. U nedjelju smo pobijedili na jednom od najtežih terena u Primeri (kod Atletica u madridu, nap.a.). Znamo što trebamo učiniti bez obzira na ono što nas čeka tamo. Siguran sam da će ambijent biti dobar, ali motivirat će i nas – poručio je Torres čiji transfer u neke od najvećih europskih klubova se opet spominje kako se bliži kraj prijelaznog roka.

- Najvažnija je sada sutrašnja utakmica, da potvrdimo ulazak u Europu. Klub je u ovom prijelaznom roku napravio jako dobre poteze. Mislim da imamo i bolju momčad nego prošle sezone – naglasio je Torres čija momčad je prošle sezone igrala polufinale Lige prvaka.

Trener Emery je istaknuo.

- Želimo nastaviti tamo gdje smo stali u prvoj utakmici. Gol u gostima više ne vrijedi dvostruko. Vidjeli smo rivala, znamo da igraju jako dobro, dobro kombiniraju, imaju dobru strukturu momčadi. Zadovoljan sam kako smo odigrali prvu utakmicu, ali dogodile su se neke stvari za koje ne želimo da se ponove jer su oni u stanju doći do našeg gola. Ima se još dosta odigrati u uzvratu. Sigurno imaju dosta iluzija u želji da uđu u grupnu fazu. Poštujemo kvalitetu Hajduka i njihov rad i tako ćemo popraviti neke stvari iz prve utakmice. Od prve minute ćemo igrati fokusirani i koncentrirani, da zaustavimo sve pokušaje Hajduka pred našim vratima – najavio je Emery.

Trenirali su Pino i Trigueros? 

- Na put odlazi 21 igrač. Ne putuje s nama Alberto Moreno. S Danjumom pazimo da spriječimo nove probleme s ozljedom. Trigueros je počeo s momčadskim treninzima nakon pet tjedana pauze, ali neće ni on biti na raspolaganju sutra. Priključili smo dva igrača iz mlade momčadi jer odmah poslije Splita putujemo u Madrid na ligašku utakmicu protiv Getafea – pojasnio je Emery.

Imate dva gola prednosti? Kakav susret očekujete?

- Rezultat je u prvom susretu za nas mogao biti i bolji, vidjeli ste prvo poluvrijeme, ali i Hajduk je poveo. Moramo biti koncentrirani, od prve minute. Moramo poštivati protivnika, prikazati našu najbolju kolektivnu i individualnu igru – naglasio je Emery.

Hoćete li opet dosta mijenjati sastav?

- Pokušavamo dati samopouzdanje svim igračima u našoj momčadi. Želimo svakom igraču dati prostor, povjerenje, dati mu ulogu, ali i imati velika očekivanja od njega. 

Dolazi li Cavani?

- Kada govorimo o napadačima već se puno govorilo o ovom konkretnom imenu. Da je Danjuma zdrav ne bi nam toliko nedostajao napadač, ali njegovo ozljedom, odlaskom Paca Alcacera nedostaje nam napadač. Ništa nije odbačeno, ali nikakav odluka o tome još nije donesena – objasnio je trener Villarreala.

Za kraj je Emery opet govorio o Hajduku.

- Hajduk je momčad s dugom povijesti, sa sadašnjosti. Drugi je iza Dinama u hrvatskom prvenstvu. Ima mnogo talentiranih igrača, to smo znali i vidjeli već i prije ove naše prve utakmice. Susrest ćemo se sada i s njihovom publikom. Na jednom krasnom stadionu gdje publika voli nogomet, očekujemo ambijent kojim moramo upravljati. Veliko poštovanje imamo prema Hajduku i onome što nas čeka na njihovom stadionu – rekao je Emery.

Press konferenciju momčad Villarreala uoči uzvrata s Hajdukom odradila je u svom trening kampu, nije bilo uobičajene presice momčadi po dolasku u Split jer će Španjolci tek večeras uopće stići u Hrvatsku. Neće momčad trenera Unaija Emery niti odraditi trening na Poljudu prije utakmice. Na presici kojoj su i hrvatski mediji mogli sudjelovati online putem je uz Emeryja bio i jedan od najboljih stopera Primere, ali i šire, Pau Torres. Iz prvog susreta Villarreal ima prednost 4:2.

- Pripremali smo za ovu utakmicu, obratili smo pažnju na detalje. Odradili smo jako dobar posao u prvoj utakmici u Valenciji, ali moramo igrati kao da nemamo taj rezultat iz prvog susreta – naglasio je Torres koji po Transfermarktu vrijedi 50 milijuna eura.

Na pitanje o napravljenim pogreškama koje su u Villarrealu spominjali nakon prvog susreta s Hajdukom Torres je pohvalio Hajduk.

- Momčad je to koju čim pustite jako dobro barata loptom, mogu te otjerati u tvoju polovicu terena. Imaju dobar presing, a dobri su i po bokovima. Moramo od početka zaigrati jako – rekao je Torres.

Svaku priču kako Villarreal neće ozbiljno shvaćati Konferencijsku ligu je još jednom i uoči uzvrata play offa odbacio Torres pričajući o tome kako ova momčad raste iz sezone u sezonu.

- Ovo nam je već treća sezona u kojoj imamo određeni koncept igre. Imamo kralježnicu momčadi koja je ostala na okupu, ali imamo i neke nove igrače. Želimo nastaviti dobre rezultate u Europi – kazao je Torres.

Villarreal čeka pun Poljud, ali Španjolci su jako iskusni.

- Igrali smo u gostima već neke jako važne susrete. Uostalom, već smo dobili i dva ligaška susreta u gostima ove sezone. U nedjelju smo pobijedili na jednom od najtežih terena u Primeri (kod Atletica u madridu, nap.a.). Znamo što trebamo učiniti bez obzira na ono što nas čeka tamo. Siguran sam da će ambijent biti dobar, ali motivirat će i nas – poručio je Torres čiji transfer u neke od najvećih europskih klubova se opet spominje kako se bliži kraj prijelaznog roka.

- Najvažnija je sada sutrašnja utakmica, da potvrdimo ulazak u Europu. Klub je u ovom prijelaznom roku napravio jako dobre poteze. Mislim da imamo i bolju momčad nego prošle sezone – naglasio je Torres čija momčad je prošle sezone igrala polufinale Lige prvaka.

Trener Emery je istaknuo.

- Želimo nastaviti tamo gdje smo stali u prvoj utakmici. Gol u gostima više ne vrijedi dvostruko. Vidjeli smo rivala, znamo da igraju jako dobro, dobro kombiniraju, imaju dobru strukturu momčadi. Zadovoljan sam kako smo odigrali prvu utakmicu, ali dogodile su se neke stvari za koje ne želimo da se ponove jer su oni u stanju doći do našeg gola. Ima se još dosta odigrati u uzvratu. Sigurno imaju dosta iluzija u želji da uđu u grupnu fazu. Poštujemo kvalitetu Hajduka i njihov rad i tako ćemo popraviti neke stvari iz prve utakmice. Od prve minute ćemo igrati fokusirani i koncentrirani, da zaustavimo sve pokušaje Hajduka pred našim vratima – najavio je Emery.

Trenirali su Pino i Trigueros? 

- Na put odlazi 21 igrač. Ne putuje s nama Alberto Moreno. S Danjumom pazimo da spriječimo nove probleme s ozljedom. Trigueros je počeo s momčadskim treninzima nakon pet tjedana pauze, ali neće ni on biti na raspolaganju sutra. Priključili smo dva igrača iz mlade momčadi jer odmah poslije Splita putujemo u Madrid na ligašku utakmicu protiv Getafea – pojasnio je Emery.

Imate dva gola prednosti? Kakav susret očekujete?

- Rezultat je u prvom susretu za nas mogao biti i bolji, vidjeli ste prvo poluvrijeme, ali i Hajduk je poveo. Moramo biti koncentrirani, od prve minute. Moramo poštivati protivnika, prikazati našu najbolju kolektivnu i individualnu igru – naglasio je Emery.

Hoćete li opet dosta mijenjati sastav?

- Pokušavamo dati samopouzdanje svim igračima u našoj momčadi. Želimo svakom igraču dati prostor, povjerenje, dati mu ulogu, ali i imati velika očekivanja od njega. 

Dolazi li Cavani?

- Kada govorimo o napadačima već se puno govorilo o ovom konkretnom imenu. Da je Danjuma zdrav ne bi nam toliko nedostajao napadač, ali njegovo ozljedom, odlaskom Paca Alcacera nedostaje nam napadač. Ništa nije odbačeno, ali nikakav odluka o tome još nije donesena – objasnio je trener Villarreala.

Za kraj je Emery opet govorio o Hajduku.

- Hajduk je momčad s dugom povijesti, sa sadašnjosti. Drugi je iza Dinama u hrvatskom prvenstvu. Ima mnogo talentiranih igrača, to smo znali i vidjeli već i prije ove naše prve utakmice. Susrest ćemo se sada i s njihovom publikom. Na jednom krasnom stadionu gdje publika voli nogomet, očekujemo ambijent kojim moramo upravljati. Veliko poštovanje imamo prema Hajduku i onome što nas čeka na njihovom stadionu – rekao je Emery.
