Stariji Šibenčani bi lako sastavili dvije momčadi kvalitetnih nogometaša, koji su nosili i bijeli i narančasti dres. 

Sa Šubićevca su se puno kvalitetniji Hajduku vratili Slaven Bilić, Nikola Kalinić i Šime Luketin. Istodobno, Šibenčanin Pere Nadoveza za tren je postao „splitski Pele“, dok je njegov suigrač iz oba kluba Ante Žaja ostavio značajan trag i u Hajdukovu menadžmentu. Kao bitna stranica u silno uspješnom trokutu s Titom Kiriginom i Tomislavom Ivićem. 

- Nije mi bilo lako, kad bi službene utakmice igrali Šibenik i Hajduk. U Splitu sam zasnovao obitelj, bio omiljen kao igrač, vjerujem i uspješan kao generalni tajnik kluba. Istodobno, u meni se nikad nije stišala vruća šibenska krv, ljubav prema rodnom gradu i Šubićevcu, gdje sam s Nadovezom, Aralicom i ostalima počeo nogometni put – otvorio nam se Žaja.

Zakleti Šibenčani su zamjerali Anti, što je u bijelom dresu ljubio splitsku travu na davnoj kup-utakmici Hajduk – Šibenik (3:2), ali su i najžešči Funcuti ustuknuli pred činjenicom da mu je sin Marko, nekad svjetski prvak u kick-boxingu, rođeni Splićanin, svo troje djece krstio u šibenskoj katedrali sv. Jakova.

Jakobušić najavio ćakulu

- Ne morate mi vjerovati, ali nikad nisam uživo gledao utakmicu dva moja najdraža kluba. Otišao bi u vikendicu u Šparadićima kod Šibenika, te nekoga zadužio da mi javlja kretanje rezultata. Hajduk je u većini utakmica bio uspješniji, ali nikad nije lako došao do bodova. Uvijek su to bile muške,  kvalitetne utakmice – sjeća se Ante.

Imali smo osjećaj da Hajdukov veteran i rođeni Šibenčanin radije priča o prošlosti nego o sadašnjosti. No, ne može izbjeći derbi i nova zbivanja u Hajduku.

- Predsjednik Hajduka Luka Jakobušić najavio mi je  nogometnu ćakulu, računajući na moje iskustvo, ali zasad ništa od toga. Valjda još nisam došao na red!? Bijelima je pobjeda potrebna kao nikad, ako žele zadržati izglede za plasman među prva četiri. Šibenčani žele i iduće sezone igrati Prvu ligu. Bodovi trebaju jednima i drugima, pa mogu samo zaželjeti fer utakmicu. Da pobijedi dalmatinski nogomet, koji zaslužuje bolju poziciju od sadašnje – kazivao je Žaja, kao Isus razapet između Splita i rodnog Šibenika.

‘Možda je i bolje da nema Funcuta i Torcide’

Za kraj se sjetio navijača, koji su poseban „folklor“ na susjedskim nadmetanjima.

- S jedne strane mi je žao što ih neće biti na tribinama, a s druge... možda je i bolje, jer su u posljednje vrijeme Funcuti i Torcida „igrali“ neku svoju paralelnu utakmicu. Znali su dobro „zagustiti“ derbi – završio je Žaja.

Stariji Šibenčani bi lako sastavili dvije momčadi kvalitetnih nogometaša, koji su nosili i bijeli i narančasti dres. 

Sa Šubićevca su se puno kvalitetniji Hajduku vratili Slaven Bilić, Nikola Kalinić i Šime Luketin. Istodobno, Šibenčanin Pere Nadoveza za tren je postao „splitski Pele“, dok je njegov suigrač iz oba kluba Ante Žaja ostavio značajan trag i u Hajdukovu menadžmentu. Kao bitna stranica u silno uspješnom trokutu s Titom Kiriginom i Tomislavom Ivićem. 

- Nije mi bilo lako, kad bi službene utakmice igrali Šibenik i Hajduk. U Splitu sam zasnovao obitelj, bio omiljen kao igrač, vjerujem i uspješan kao generalni tajnik kluba. Istodobno, u meni se nikad nije stišala vruća šibenska krv, ljubav prema rodnom gradu i Šubićevcu, gdje sam s Nadovezom, Aralicom i ostalima počeo nogometni put – otvorio nam se Žaja.

Zakleti Šibenčani su zamjerali Anti, što je u bijelom dresu ljubio splitsku travu na davnoj kup-utakmici Hajduk – Šibenik (3:2), ali su i najžešči Funcuti ustuknuli pred činjenicom da mu je sin Marko, nekad svjetski prvak u kick-boxingu, rođeni Splićanin, svo troje djece krstio u šibenskoj katedrali sv. Jakova.

Jakobušić najavio ćakulu

- Ne morate mi vjerovati, ali nikad nisam uživo gledao utakmicu dva moja najdraža kluba. Otišao bi u vikendicu u Šparadićima kod Šibenika, te nekoga zadužio da mi javlja kretanje rezultata. Hajduk je u većini utakmica bio uspješniji, ali nikad nije lako došao do bodova. Uvijek su to bile muške,  kvalitetne utakmice – sjeća se Ante.

Imali smo osjećaj da Hajdukov veteran i rođeni Šibenčanin radije priča o prošlosti nego o sadašnjosti. No, ne može izbjeći derbi i nova zbivanja u Hajduku.

- Predsjednik Hajduka Luka Jakobušić najavio mi je  nogometnu ćakulu, računajući na moje iskustvo, ali zasad ništa od toga. Valjda još nisam došao na red!? Bijelima je pobjeda potrebna kao nikad, ako žele zadržati izglede za plasman među prva četiri. Šibenčani žele i iduće sezone igrati Prvu ligu. Bodovi trebaju jednima i drugima, pa mogu samo zaželjeti fer utakmicu. Da pobijedi dalmatinski nogomet, koji zaslužuje bolju poziciju od sadašnje – kazivao je Žaja, kao Isus razapet između Splita i rodnog Šibenika.

‘Možda je i bolje da nema Funcuta i Torcide’

Za kraj se sjetio navijača, koji su poseban „folklor“ na susjedskim nadmetanjima.

- S jedne strane mi je žao što ih neće biti na tribinama, a s druge... možda je i bolje, jer su u posljednje vrijeme Funcuti i Torcida „igrali“ neku svoju paralelnu utakmicu. Znali su dobro „zagustiti“ derbi – završio je Žaja.

Stariji Šibenčani bi lako sastavili dvije momčadi kvalitetnih nogometaša, koji su nosili i bijeli i narančasti dres. 

Sa Šubićevca su se puno kvalitetniji Hajduku vratili Slaven Bilić, Nikola Kalinić i Šime Luketin. Istodobno, Šibenčanin Pere Nadoveza za tren je postao „splitski Pele“, dok je njegov suigrač iz oba kluba Ante Žaja ostavio značajan trag i u Hajdukovu menadžmentu. Kao bitna stranica u silno uspješnom trokutu s Titom Kiriginom i Tomislavom Ivićem. 

- Nije mi bilo lako, kad bi službene utakmice igrali Šibenik i Hajduk. U Splitu sam zasnovao obitelj, bio omiljen kao igrač, vjerujem i uspješan kao generalni tajnik kluba. Istodobno, u meni se nikad nije stišala vruća šibenska krv, ljubav prema rodnom gradu i Šubićevcu, gdje sam s Nadovezom, Aralicom i osta...
