Hrvatskom nogometnom reprezentativcu i igraču Real Madrida Mateu Kovačiću u četvrtak je dijagnosticirana parcijalna ruptura tetive aduktora u desnoj natkoljenici te će morati propustiti nadolazeće reprezentativne akcije, potvrdili su u Hrvatskom nogometnom savezu (HNS).

Kovačić je u srijedu bio u početnoj postavi momčadi aktualnog dvostrukog prvaka Europe u utakmici 1. kola Lige prvaka protiv ciparskog APOEL-a, ali je već u 25. minuti morao napustiti igru, jer je osjetio bol u desnoj natkoljenici.

Kovačić se već neko vrijeme žalio na bolove desnoj nozi, ali sve do četvrtka nije bio poznat točan uzrok boli, kad je pregledom u madridskoj sveučilišnoj bolnici "Sanitas la Moraleja" ustanovljena parcijalna ruptura aduktora te će morati izbivati s nogometnih terena narednih šest do osam tjedana.

Stoga neće biti na raspolaganju izborniku Anti Čačiću za završnicu grupne faze europskih kvalifikacija za odlazak na Svjetsko prvenstvo, početkom rujna protiv Finske kod kuće te na gostovanju kod Ukrajine

Utakmica protiv Finske je 6. listopada u Osijeku, a tri dana kasnije 'Vatreni' gostuju u Ukrajini. Dva kola prije kraja kvalifikacija Hrvatska vodi u skupini sa 16 bodova koliko ima i Island na drugom mjestu. Slijede Tuska i Ukrajina sa po 14 bodova, Finska ima sedam, a Kosovo jedan bod.

Hrvatskom nogometnom reprezentativcu i igraču Real Madrida Mateu Kovačiću u četvrtak je dijagnosticirana parcijalna ruptura tetive aduktora u desnoj natkoljenici te će morati propustiti nadolazeće reprezentativne akcije, potvrdili su u Hrvatskom nogometnom savezu (HNS).

Kovačić je u srijedu bio u početnoj postavi momčadi aktualnog dvostrukog prvaka Europe u utakmici 1. kola Lige prvaka protiv ciparskog APOEL-a, ali je već u 25. minuti morao napustiti igru, jer je osjetio bol u desnoj natkoljenici.

Kovačić se već neko vrijeme žalio na bolove desnoj nozi, ali sve do četvrtka nije bio poznat točan uzrok boli, kad je pregledom u madridskoj sveučilišnoj bolnici "Sanitas la Moraleja" ustanovljena parcijalna ruptura aduktora te će morati izbivati s nogometnih terena narednih šest do osam tjedana.

Stoga neće biti na raspolaganju izborniku Anti Čačiću za završnicu grupne faze europskih kvalifikacija za odlazak na Svjetsko prvenstvo, početkom rujna protiv Finske kod kuće te na gostovanju kod Ukrajine

Utakmica protiv Finske je 6. listopada u Osijeku, a tri dana kasnije 'Vatreni' gostuju u Ukrajini. Dva kola prije kraja kvalifikacija Hrvatska vodi u skupini sa 16 bodova koliko ima i Island na drugom mjestu. Slijede Tuska i Ukrajina sa po 14 bodova, Finska ima sedam, a Kosovo jedan bod.
