Kongres Međunarodne nogometne federacije (FIFA) usvojio je danas većinom glasova formulu "6+5" kojom se želi ograniči broj stranaca u klubovima.

Za ovaj prijedlog glasovalo je 155 delegata, petorica su bila protiv, dok je 40 nacionalnih federacija bili suzdržano. U zaključku se navodi da je Kongres ovlastio predsjednika FIFA-e Seppa Blattera i predsjednika UEFA-e Michela Platinia da iskoriste "sva moguća sredstva u okviru sadašnji zakonskih normi kako bi se omogućila primjena tog plana".

"Ovo je veoma važna odluka i siguran sam da je njena primjena u interesu svjetskog nogometa. Klubovi će imati dovoljno vremena da se prilagode, jer će ovo pravilo početi primjenjivati koncem 2010. godine. U momčadima će najprije biti četvorica, pa petorica, a od 2012. godine i šestorica domaćih igrača," kazao je Blatter.

Povjerenik Europske unije (EU) za zapošljavanje i socijalnu politiku Vladimir Spidla prije nekoliko dana je rekao kako je formula "6+5" posve neprihvatljiva jer uvodi diskriminaciju na osnovi nacionalnosti. Prema njegovim riječima sve članice EU koje prihvate ovaj prijedlog završit će na sudu.

Međutim, Blatter je najavio kako neće odustati. Već 5. lipnja sastat će se s čelnicima EU kako bi pokušao riješiti nastale probleme.

"Ne znam samo za koga je to nezakonito. Čak i ako postoji takav zakon, uvijek se amandmanima mogu promijeniti stvari koje se odnose na sport." dodao je prvi čovjek svjetskog nogometa.

U slučaju da ovo pravilo zaživi najveće probleme bi imali engleski klubovi. Stoga niti ne čudi što je jedan od čelnika FA-a Brian Barwick prilično rezerviran.

"Mi i dalje vjerujemo da je osnov za ulazak u igrača u momčad njihovo znanje, a ne nacionalnost," kazao je Barwick.

Kongres Međunarodne nogometne federacije (FIFA) usvojio je danas većinom glasova formulu "6+5" kojom se želi ograniči broj stranaca u klubovima.

Za ovaj prijedlog glasovalo je 155 delegata, petorica su bila protiv, dok je 40 nacionalnih federacija bili suzdržano. U zaključku se navodi da je Kongres ovlastio predsjednika FIFA-e Seppa Blattera i predsjednika UEFA-e Michela Platinia da iskoriste "sva moguća sredstva u okviru sadašnji zakonskih normi kako bi se omogućila primjena tog plana".

"Ovo je veoma važna odluka i siguran sam da je njena primjena u interesu svjetskog nogometa. Klubovi će imati dovoljno vremena da se prilagode, jer će ovo pravilo početi primjenjivati koncem 2010. godine. U momčadima će najprije biti četvorica, pa petorica, a od 2012. godine i šestorica domaćih igrača," kazao je Blatter.

Povjerenik Europske unije (EU) za zapošljavanje i socijalnu politiku Vladimir Spidla prije nekoliko dana je rekao kako je formula "6+5" posve neprihvatljiva jer uvodi diskriminaciju na osnovi nacionalnosti. Prema njegovim riječima sve članice EU koje prihvate ovaj prijedlog završit će na sudu.

Međutim, Blatter je najavio kako neće odustati. Već 5. lipnja sastat će se s čelnicima EU kako bi pokušao riješiti nastale probleme.

"Ne znam samo za koga je to nezakonito. Čak i ako postoji takav zakon, uvijek se amandmanima mogu promijeniti stvari koje se odnose na sport." dodao je prvi čovjek svjetskog nogometa.

U slučaju da ovo pravilo zaživi najveće probleme bi imali engleski klubovi. Stoga niti ne čudi što je jedan od čelnika FA-a Brian Barwick prilično rezerviran.

"Mi i dalje vjerujemo da je osnov za ulazak u igrača u momčad njihovo znanje, a ne nacionalnost," kazao je Barwick.
