Mario Stanić u svojoj emisiji “Neuspjesi prvaka” emitiranoj na kanalu Arenasport ugostio je Darija Srnu. Bivši hrvatski reprezentativac na početku razgovora osvrnuo se na situaciju u ratu zahvaćenoj Ukrajini i pričao o trenutnom stanju u Kijevu. Zatim je pričao o svom dolasku u Split i igri u Hajduku, kao i ranog potpisivanja ugovora za tada malo poznati ukrajinski Šahtar te rekao glavni razlog odlaska s Poljuda.  

‘Želio sam osigurati sebi i obitelji egzistenciju. To je bio najveći razlog‘, kazao je Srna. 

Srna je nakon završetka igračke karijere ostao raditi u Šahtaru, a trenutno je na poziciji sportskog direktora. Puno je govorio o svojim igračkim danima u Ukrajini, ali i o detaljima pregovora s vlasnikom kluba Rinatom Ahmetom vezano za novi ugovor.

Međutim, jedan od najzanimljivijih dijelova u razgovoru bio je onaj u kojem je Srna prvi put otvoreno govorio o doping slučaju u svojoj karijeri. Nakon optužbi i istraga, pokazalo se da nije kriv i da je sve bila greška, ali to vrijeme bez nogometa bilo mu je uistinu teško te se zahvalio supruzi i prijateljima koji su ga bodrili u najgorim trenutcima karijere. 

‘Svi su stali na moju stranu, od novinara, bivših igrača, trenera... Tu osjetiš zadovoljstvo i vjeruješ da nisi kriv. To me ojačalo u životu, puno je značilo ljudima oko mene, mojoj obitelji... Bilo mi je jako teško nositi se s tim, u tom sam trenutku patio više nego ikad. Ne možete dobiti rat, to je prirodan proces, ali ovo me ubilo više od očeve smrti, jer sam i njega na kraju razočarao. Bio je to udarac za mene... Ne mogu to opisati, najteži poraz u životu. Supruga me spasila i bodrila‘, ispričao je Srna. 

Pričao je bivši “Vatreni” i o svom ocu Uzeiru koji je preminuo 2016. godine dok je Hrvatska igrala na Europskom prvenstvu u Francuskoj, a zadnje što mu je rekao je da "mora otići na Euro predstavljati svoju obitelj, grad i državu". Darijo je tada s Eura otišao u rodni Metković na očev pogreb i odmah se zatim vratio, a njegove suze i ponos za vrijeme himne mnogi se sjećaju.

Prisjetio se Srna i prvog nastupa za Hajduk, ali i problema s Torcidom. Cijela momčad je tada nekoliko dana prespavala na Poljudu, a sve to je detaljnije ispričao u autobiografiji “Srna” koju je napisala Milana Vlaović. Darijo je nekoliko puta spomenuo kako mu je najdraži individualni trofej onaj kojeg mu je dodijelila Torcida, “Hajdučko srce”. Također, rekao je da je kao dječak sanjao o tome da zabije gol na prepunom Poljudu i da mu ništa drugo nije bilo važno.

Mario Stanić u svojoj emisiji “Neuspjesi prvaka” emitiranoj na kanalu Arenasport ugostio je Darija Srnu. Bivši hrvatski reprezentativac na početku razgovora osvrnuo se na situaciju u ratu zahvaćenoj Ukrajini i pričao o trenutnom stanju u Kijevu. Zatim je pričao o svom dolasku u Split i igri u Hajduku, kao i ranog potpisivanja ugovora za tada malo poznati ukrajinski Šahtar te rekao glavni razlog odlaska s Poljuda.  

‘Želio sam osigurati sebi i obitelji egzistenciju. To je bio najveći razlog‘, kazao je Srna. 

Srna je nakon završetka igračke karijere ostao raditi u Šahtaru, a trenutno je na poziciji sportskog direktora. Puno je govorio o svojim igračkim danima u Ukrajini, ali i o detaljima pregovora s vlasnikom kluba Rinatom Ahmetom vezano za novi ugovor.

Međutim, jedan od najzanimljivijih dijelova u razgovoru bio je onaj u kojem je Srna prvi put otvoreno govorio o doping slučaju u svojoj karijeri. Nakon optužbi i istraga, pokazalo se da nije kriv i da je sve bila greška, ali to vrijeme bez nogometa bilo mu je uistinu teško te se zahvalio supruzi i prijateljima koji su ga bodrili u najgorim trenutcima karijere. 

‘Svi su stali na moju stranu, od novinara, bivših igrača, trenera... Tu osjetiš zadovoljstvo i vjeruješ da nisi kriv. To me ojačalo u životu, puno je značilo ljudima oko mene, mojoj obitelji... Bilo mi je jako teško nositi se s tim, u tom sam trenutku patio više nego ikad. Ne možete dobiti rat, to je prirodan proces, ali ovo me ubilo više od očeve smrti, jer sam i njega na kraju razočarao. Bio je to udarac za mene... Ne mogu to opisati, najteži poraz u životu. Supruga me spasila i bodrila‘, ispričao je Srna. 

Pričao je bivši “Vatreni” i o svom ocu Uzeiru koji je preminuo 2016. godine dok je Hrvatska igrala na Europskom prvenstvu u Francuskoj, a zadnje što mu je rekao je da "mora otići na Euro predstavljati svoju obitelj, grad i državu". Darijo je tada s Eura otišao u rodni Metković na očev pogreb i odmah se zatim vratio, a njegove suze i ponos za vrijeme himne mnogi se sjećaju.

Prisjetio se Srna i prvog nastupa za Hajduk, ali i problema s Torcidom. Cijela momčad je tada nekoliko dana prespavala na Poljudu, a sve to je detaljnije ispričao u autobiografiji “Srna” koju je napisala Milana Vlaović. Darijo je nekoliko puta spomenuo kako mu je najdraži individualni trofej onaj kojeg mu je dodijelila Torcida, “Hajdučko srce”. Također, rekao je da je kao dječak sanjao o tome da zabije gol na prepunom Poljudu i da mu ništa drugo nije bilo važno.

Mario Stanić u svojoj emisiji “Neuspjesi prvaka” emitiranoj na kanalu Arenasport ugostio je Darija Srnu. Bivši hrvatski reprezentativac na početku razgovora osvrnuo se na situaciju u ratu zahvaćenoj Ukrajini i pričao o trenutnom stanju u Kijevu. Zatim je pričao o svom dolasku u Split i igri u Hajduku, kao i ranog potpisivanja ugovora za tada malo poznati ukrajinski Šahtar te rekao glavni razlog odlaska s Poljuda.  

‘Želio sam osigurati sebi i obitelji egzistenciju. To je bio najveći razlog‘, kazao je Srna. 

Srna je nakon završetka igračke karijere ostao raditi u Šahtaru, a trenutno je na poziciji sportskog direktora. Puno je govorio o svojim igračkim danima u Ukrajini, ali i o detaljima pregovora s vlasnikom kluba Rinatom Ahmetom vezano za novi ugovor.
