Proglašenje pobjednika u džudaškoj kategoriji do 66 kg na Europskom olimpijskom festivalu mladih (EYOF) u Mariboru imalo je vrlo zanimljivu uvertiru.

Nakon što je hrvatski predstavnik Luka Katić zbog ozljede koljena bio primoran predati finalnu borbu, osvajač zlatne medalje, Gruzijac Mate Gvelesiani, napravio je uistinu nesvakidašnju gestu. Znajući za ozljedu i otežano kretanje nesuđenog suparnika iz finala, „preskočio“ je sve formalnosti i protokolarni izlazak na uručenje medalja te Hrvata donio na rukama do pobjedničkog postolja, gdje je Katić primio srebrno odličje.

Iako spomenuta gesta ne spada u klasične primjere sportskog fair playa i nije se dogodila tijekom natjecanja, spontani izraz suosjećajnosti i solidarnosti mladog Gruzijca Gvelesianija prema suparniku - za svaku je pohvalu.

Na EYOF-u nastupaju sportašice i sportaši od 14 do 18 godina.

Proglašenje pobjednika u džudaškoj kategoriji do 66 kg na Europskom olimpijskom festivalu mladih (EYOF) u Mariboru imalo je vrlo zanimljivu uvertiru.

Nakon što je hrvatski predstavnik Luka Katić zbog ozljede koljena bio primoran predati finalnu borbu, osvajač zlatne medalje, Gruzijac Mate Gvelesiani, napravio je uistinu nesvakidašnju gestu. Znajući za ozljedu i otežano kretanje nesuđenog suparnika iz finala, „preskočio“ je sve formalnosti i protokolarni izlazak na uručenje medalja te Hrvata donio na rukama do pobjedničkog postolja, gdje je Katić primio srebrno odličje.

Iako spomenuta gesta ne spada u klasične primjere sportskog fair playa i nije se dogodila tijekom natjecanja, spontani izraz suosjećajnosti i solidarnosti mladog Gruzijca Gvelesianija prema suparniku - za svaku je pohvalu.

Na EYOF-u nastupaju sportašice i sportaši od 14 do 18 godina.

Potez mladog Gruzijca Mate za svaku je pohvalu, na rukama je nosio ozlijeđenog Hrvata do pobjedničkog postolja

Proglašenje pobjednika u džudaškoj kategoriji do 66 kg na Europskom olimpijskom festivalu mladih (EYOF) u Mariboru imalo je vrlo zanimljivu uvertiru.

Nakon što je hrvatski predstavnik Luka Katić zbog ozljede koljena bio primoran predati finalnu borbu, osvajač zlatne medalje, Gruzijac Mate Gvelesiani, napravio je uistinu nesvakidašnju gestu. Znajući za ozljedu i otežano kretanje nesuđenog suparnika iz finala, „preskočio“ je sve formalnosti i protokolarni izlazak na uručenje medalja te Hrvata donio na rukama do pobjedničkog postolja, gdje je Katić primio srebrno odličje.

Iako spomenuta gesta ne spada u klasične primjere sportskog fair playa i nije se dogodila tijekom natjecanja, spontani izraz suosjećajnosti i solidarnosti mladog Gruzijca Gvelesianija prema suparniku - za svaku je pohvalu.

Na EYOF-u nastupaju sportašice i sportaši od 14 do 18 godina.
