Hrvatska reprezentativka u tekvondou Kristina Tomić (26) izgubila je i ispala na Olimpijskim igrama u Tokiju u kategoriji do 49 kilograma.

Bolja od Tomić bila je Kolumbijka Andrea Ramirez Vargas. Sredinom treće runde Kolumbijka je povela sa 25-5 pa je dvoboj prekinut zbog prevelike razlike u bodovima. 

Kako je Kolumbijka u dvoboju punom preokreta potom izgubila od Turkinje Yildirim s 31-30, Tomić je izgubila šansu za nastavak natjecanja kroz repesaž.

"Definitivno sam razočarana, očekivala sam puno, puno više. Dugo sam se spremala za svoj prvi olimpijski nastup, ali očito nije bio moj dan. Mi smo se spremali istu taktiku kao i u zadnjem meču u kojem sam je pobijedila, ali je i ona ovaj puta pokazala sasvim drugačiji stil. Očito se pripremila za mene", kazala je Tomić. članica TK Osvita iz Zagreba.

Tomić (26) je europska prvakinja iz Kazanja 2018. godine, dok u svojim vitrinama ima i dvije bronce sa svjetskih prvenstava iz Južne Koreje  2017. i Engleske 2019. godine.

Tomić je poznata i kao jedina vrhunska tekvondašica koja ima dijagnosticirani dijabetes, a ovo su joj bile prve Olimpijske igre.

Hrvatska reprezentativka u tekvondou Kristina Tomić (26) izgubila je i ispala na Olimpijskim igrama u Tokiju u kategoriji do 49 kilograma.

Bolja od Tomić bila je Kolumbijka Andrea Ramirez Vargas. Sredinom treće runde Kolumbijka je povela sa 25-5 pa je dvoboj prekinut zbog prevelike razlike u bodovima. 

Kako je Kolumbijka u dvoboju punom preokreta potom izgubila od Turkinje Yildirim s 31-30, Tomić je izgubila šansu za nastavak natjecanja kroz repesaž.

"Definitivno sam razočarana, očekivala sam puno, puno više. Dugo sam se spremala za svoj prvi olimpijski nastup, ali očito nije bio moj dan. Mi smo se spremali istu taktiku kao i u zadnjem meču u kojem sam je pobijedila, ali je i ona ovaj puta pokazala sasvim drugačiji stil. Očito se pripremila za mene", kazala je Tomić. članica TK Osvita iz Zagreba.

Tomić (26) je europska prvakinja iz Kazanja 2018. godine, dok u svojim vitrinama ima i dvije bronce sa svjetskih prvenstava iz Južne Koreje  2017. i Engleske 2019. godine.

Tomić je poznata i kao jedina vrhunska tekvondašica koja ima dijagnosticirani dijabetes, a ovo su joj bile prve Olimpijske igre.

Hrvatska reprezentativka u tekvondou Kristina Tomić (26) izgubila je i ispala na Olimpijskim igrama u Tokiju u kategoriji do 49 kilograma.

Bolja od Tomić bila je Kolumbijka Andrea Ramirez Vargas. Sredinom treće runde Kolumbijka je povela sa 25-5 pa je dvoboj prekinut zbog prevelike razlike u bodovima. 

Kako je Kolumbijka u dvoboju punom preokreta potom izgubila od Turkinje Yildirim s 31-30, Tomić je izgubila šansu za nastavak natjecanja kroz repesaž.

"Definitivno sam razočarana, očekivala sam puno, puno više. Dugo sam se spremala za svoj prvi olimpijski nastup, ali očito nije bio moj dan. Mi smo se spremali istu taktiku kao i u zadnjem meču u kojem sam je pobijedila, ali je i ona ovaj puta pokazala sasvim drugačiji stil. Očito se pripremila za mene", kazala je Tomić. članica TK Osvi...
