Uspješno je Alen Babić okončao 2021. godinu. 31-godišnji Rovinjanin upisao je desetu pobjedu u jednako toliko profesionalnih nastupa. ''Savage'' je nastavio i sa stopostotnim učinkom kad su nokauti u pitanju. David Spilmont (11-8-0) ušao je u meč kao osjetni autsajder, no pokazao se puno čvršćim od očekivanog, piše Fight Site.

Babić je Spilmonta nokautirao u šestoj rundi borbe, no puno je problema Spilmont napravio Babiću u drugoj rundi. Francuz je lijevim krošeom ravno u bradu uzdrmao našeg boksača, no Babić se uspješno oporavio te je u narednim rundama uspostavio kontrolu i ostao neporažen. Francuz je kapitulaciju potpisao u šestoj rundi, a ''Savage'' se sada može odmoriti nakon četiri meča u 2021. godini. Plan za iduću godine jeste napad na svjetsku titulu u bridger kategoriji.

Oba boksača prihvatili su ovaj meč na ''short notice''. Babić je 20 dana prije meča dobio ponudu i pristao je, no ime protivnika saznao je tek prije tri dana. David Spilmont pojavio se u ovom meču kao poprilično nepoznat boksač, a i sam Babić priznao je kako ne zna ništa o njemu. Najavio je Alen nokaut unutar tri runde, no ispostavilo se da je Spilmont bolji nego što se mislilo.

Nametnuo se Babić kao dominatniji boksač tokom prve runde te je odmah pritiskao Spilmonta uz užad. Nakon samo tridesetak sekundi i nekoliko krošea, Spilmont je djelovao blago uzdrmano i činilo se da bi ovaj meč mogao jako brzo završiti. Međutim, Francuz se konsolidirao i kako je runda odmicala, sve je bolje eskivirao pokušaje našeg boksača.

Druga runda započela je u sličnom tonu, no kako je dionica odmicala, Spilmont je sve opušteniji. Sredinom runde, Francuz dvaput dobro pogađa ljevicom u glavu Babića, no krajem runde umalo smo svjedočili velikoj senzaciji. Spilmont je lijevim krošeom pogodio Babića čisto u bradu i dobrano ga je uzdrmao. Ipak, hrvatski boksač ostao je na nogama te se uspješno branio do kraja runde koji je dočekao sa smiješkom na licu.

Shvatio je Babić tada da je u ringu s ozbiljnijim protivnikom nego što je očekivao te se u nastavku meča uozbiljio. Konstantno je ''Savage'' bio taj koji se kreće prema naprijed i pritišće, a krajem treće runde, Spilmont je bio taj koji je uzdrman i čeka zvono za kraj runde. Tokom četvrte runde, Francuz se našao i u nokdaunu, no uspješno se oporavio. Na momente je djelovalo kao da je David Spilmont umoran i da je pitanje trenutka kad će pasti nokautiran, no Francuz bi se naglo budio i uzvraćao s nekoliko dobrih udaraca.

Ipak, kulminacija je nastupila tokom šeste runde. Konstantni Babićev pritisak sve je više iscrpljivao Spilmonta, a serije krošea dok je Spilmont naslonjen na užad, dovele su do novog brojanja Francuzu koji je pokleknuo. Pogledavao je Spilmont ka svome kutu, a oni su mu gestikulirali da je gotovo i da nema smisla nastavljati. Odbrojao je sudac do deset i meč je završio. Babić je u najtežem meču u profesionalnoj karijeri upisao svoju desetu pobjedu.

191 centimetar visoki i 16 kilograma teži Francuz pokazao se kao ''tvrd orah''. Dobri udarci direktima s distance te opasan lijevi kroše uzrokovali su Babiću određene probleme, no ''Savage'' je pokazao kako se zna nositi s problemima i nepredviđenim situacijama.

Uspješno je Alen Babić okončao 2021. godinu. 31-godišnji Rovinjanin upisao je desetu pobjedu u jednako toliko profesionalnih nastupa. ''Savage'' je nastavio i sa stopostotnim učinkom kad su nokauti u pitanju. David Spilmont (11-8-0) ušao je u meč kao osjetni autsajder, no pokazao se puno čvršćim od očekivanog, piše Fight Site.

Babić je Spilmonta nokautirao u šestoj rundi borbe, no puno je problema Spilmont napravio Babiću u drugoj rundi. Francuz je lijevim krošeom ravno u bradu uzdrmao našeg boksača, no Babić se uspješno oporavio te je u narednim rundama uspostavio kontrolu i ostao neporažen. Francuz je kapitulaciju potpisao u šestoj rundi, a ''Savage'' se sada može odmoriti nakon četiri meča u 2021. godini. Plan za iduću godine jeste napad na svjetsku titulu u bridger kategoriji.

Oba boksača prihvatili su ovaj meč na ''short notice''. Babić je 20 dana prije meča dobio ponudu i pristao je, no ime protivnika saznao je tek prije tri dana. David Spilmont pojavio se u ovom meču kao poprilično nepoznat boksač, a i sam Babić priznao je kako ne zna ništa o njemu. Najavio je Alen nokaut unutar tri runde, no ispostavilo se da je Spilmont bolji nego što se mislilo.

Nametnuo se Babić kao dominatniji boksač tokom prve runde te je odmah pritiskao Spilmonta uz užad. Nakon samo tridesetak sekundi i nekoliko krošea, Spilmont je djelovao blago uzdrmano i činilo se da bi ovaj meč mogao jako brzo završiti. Međutim, Francuz se konsolidirao i kako je runda odmicala, sve je bolje eskivirao pokušaje našeg boksača.

Druga runda započela je u sličnom tonu, no kako je dionica odmicala, Spilmont je sve opušteniji. Sredinom runde, Francuz dvaput dobro pogađa ljevicom u glavu Babića, no krajem runde umalo smo svjedočili velikoj senzaciji. Spilmont je lijevim krošeom pogodio Babića čisto u bradu i dobrano ga je uzdrmao. Ipak, hrvatski boksač ostao je na nogama te se uspješno branio do kraja runde koji je dočekao sa smiješkom na licu.

Shvatio je Babić tada da je u ringu s ozbiljnijim protivnikom nego što je očekivao te se u nastavku meča uozbiljio. Konstantno je ''Savage'' bio taj koji se kreće prema naprijed i pritišće, a krajem treće runde, Spilmont je bio taj koji je uzdrman i čeka zvono za kraj runde. Tokom četvrte runde, Francuz se našao i u nokdaunu, no uspješno se oporavio. Na momente je djelovalo kao da je David Spilmont umoran i da je pitanje trenutka kad će pasti nokautiran, no Francuz bi se naglo budio i uzvraćao s nekoliko dobrih udaraca.

Ipak, kulminacija je nastupila tokom šeste runde. Konstantni Babićev pritisak sve je više iscrpljivao Spilmonta, a serije krošea dok je Spilmont naslonjen na užad, dovele su do novog brojanja Francuzu koji je pokleknuo. Pogledavao je Spilmont ka svome kutu, a oni su mu gestikulirali da je gotovo i da nema smisla nastavljati. Odbrojao je sudac do deset i meč je završio. Babić je u najtežem meču u profesionalnoj karijeri upisao svoju desetu pobjedu.

Uspješno je Alen Babić okončao 2021. godinu. 31-godišnji Rovinjanin upisao je desetu pobjedu u jednako toliko profesionalnih nastupa. ''Savage'' je nastavio i sa stopostotnim učinkom kad su nokauti u pitanju. David Spilmont (11-8-0) ušao je u meč kao osjetni autsajder, no pokazao se puno čvršćim od očekivanog, piše Fight Site.

Babić je Spilmonta nokautirao u šestoj rundi borbe, no puno je problema Spilmont napravio Babiću u drugoj rundi. Francuz je lijevim krošeom ravno u bradu uzdrmao našeg boksača, no Babić se uspješno oporavio te je u narednim rundama uspostavio kontrolu i ostao neporažen. Francuz je kapitulaciju potpisao u šestoj rundi, a ''Savage'' se sada može odmoriti nakon četiri meča u 2021. godini. Plan za iduću godine jeste napad na svjetsku titulu u bridger katego...
