Ako ste se prošlog vikenda našli na području Solina, Pazdigrada, ili negdje između, te osjetili intenzivne neugodne mirise s Karepovca, umiriti bi vas mogla informacija da kvaliteta zraka ni u jednom trenutku nije bila ugrožena.
Naime, u nedjelju nam se obratio čitatelj žaleći se na "nesnosan smrad", uz molbu da doznamo što se događa.
- Zanima me jeste li voljni istražiti i objaviti zašto se s Karepovca opet šrii nesnosan smrad zbog kojeg se moraju nositi Covid maske na otvorenom kako se ne bi rigalo po ulici. Ovo je drugi vikend da se to događa. Prošli vikend je bilo blažeg intenziteta, ali danas (subota, 8. listopada) je nepodnošljivo – upozorio nas je stanovnik solinskog predjela Japirko, a slične smo pritužbe primili i sa splitskog Pazdigrada.

Informacije o vrsti i obimu radova koji su ovih dana izvode u sklopu sanacije spomenutog odlagališta otpada, te o njihovim eventualnim posljedicama na kvalitetu zraka potražili smo kod gradskih službi, gdje su nam kazali da im je, unatoč radovima u tijeku uzrok smrada nepoznat, naglasivši kako, prema dostupnim mjerenjima, ne kvaliteta zraka nije narušena.
- Od početka izvođenja radova u ovoj fazi sanacije odlagališta komunalnog otpada Karepovac izvodi se ista vrsta radova: bušenje plinskih zdenaca i izrada zasjeka tj. pristupnih puteva do mjesta njihova bušenja. Svi zasjeci tj. pristupni putevi su izvedeni do 28. srpnja ove godine pa se ti radovi mogu isključiti kao uzročnik pojave neugodnih mirisa.

Plinski zdenci su izvedeni na kosinama (njih ukupno 37), a trenutačno se izvode radovi bušenja plinskih zdenca na krovnom dijelu odlagališta. Do sad je na krovnom dijelu odlagališta izbušeno 12 zdenaca od ukupno 45.
Moramo napomenuti da na samom gradilištu nismo primijetili pojačani intenzitet neugodnih mirisa koji bi nastali izvođenjem radova pa čak ni u ljetnom periodu u vrijeme visokih temperatura - stoji u odgovoru Ante Krželja, voditelja projekta sanacije Karepovca u ime Grada Splita.

Kako je doznajemo, dnevne količine otpada kojim se manipulira prilikom bušenja zdenaca iznose 25 metara kubičnih što, ističe, nikako ne može biti uzrok pojačanog intenziteta neugodnih mirisa. Navodi i kako se u svaki zdenac koji se izbuši odmah postavlja perforirana cijev, te se ostatak bušotine oko cijevi ispunjava sitnim kamenim agregatom.
- Naglašavamo i kako je na južnoj kosini odlagališta u tijeku izvođenje završnog prekrivnog sustava čime se dodatno doprinosi smanjenju neugodnih mirisa. Rok dovršetka svih radova ove faze sanacije je kraj 2023. godine, dok se sami radovi bušenja plinskih zdenaca planiraju dovršiti do kraja tekuće godine. Od početka izvođenja radova na sanaciji provodi se mjerenje kvalitete zraka i do danas nije bilo prekoračenja dopuštenih vrijednosti - naglašava Krželj.

Na pritužbe građana odgovorila je i "Čistoća", u kojoj navode kako se otpad prikupljen na dnevnoj bazi prekriva zemljom, ističući kako su u tijeku radovi na prekrivanju odlagališta s aktivnim sustavom otplinjavanja.
- Sukladno Dozvoli za gospodarenje otpadom koju posjeduje "Čistoća" na odlagalištu Karepovac otpad se zbrinjava isključivo odlaganjem te se pri tom svakodnevno otpad prekriva slojem inertnog materijala (zemljom). Ujedno, na odlagalištu Karepovac su u zadnje vrijeme intenzivirane radnje na sanaciji odlagališta PAKET A, FAZA 3 - završni sustav prekrivanja s aktivnim sustavom otplinjavanja- stoji u njihovom odgovoru.

Po pitanju kvalitete zraka za ovaj i prethodni vikend kazuju kako analize mjerenja kvalitete zraka ukazuju da satne granične vrijednosti mjerenih pokazatelja nisu prekoračene, što se, ističu, može u svakom trenu pratiti i na njihovim mrežnim stranicama. Ako ste se prošlog vikenda našli na području Solina, Pazdigrada, ili negdje između, te osjetili intenzivne neugodne mirise s Karepovca, umiriti bi vas mogla informacija da kvaliteta zraka ni u jednom trenutku nije bila ugrožena.
Naime, u nedjelju nam se obratio čitatelj žaleći se na "nesnosan smrad", uz molbu da doznamo što se događa.
- Zanima me jeste li voljni istražiti i objaviti zašto se s Karepovca opet šrii nesnosan smrad zbog kojeg se moraju nositi Covid maske na otvorenom kako se ne bi rigalo po ulici. Ovo je drugi vikend da se to događa. Prošli vikend je bilo blažeg intenziteta, ali danas (subota, 8. listopada) je nepodnošljivo – upozorio nas je stanovnik solinskog predjela Japirko, a slične smo pritužbe primili i sa splitskog Pazdigrada.

Informacije o vrsti i obimu radova koji su ovih dana izvode u sklopu sanacije spomenutog odlagališta otpada, te o njihovim eventualnim posljedicama na kvalitetu zraka potražili smo kod gradskih službi, gdje su nam kazali da im je, unatoč radovima u tijeku uzrok smrada nepoznat, naglasivši kako, prema dostupnim mjerenjima, ne kvaliteta zraka nije narušena.
- Od početka izvođenja radova u ovoj fazi sanacije odlagališta komunalnog otpada Karepovac izvodi se ista vrsta radova: bušenje plinskih zdenaca i izrada zasjeka tj. pristupnih puteva do mjesta njihova bušenja. Svi zasjeci tj. pristupni putevi su izvedeni do 28. srpnja ove godine pa se ti radovi mogu isključiti kao uzročnik pojave neugodnih mirisa.

Plinski zdenci su izvedeni na kosinama (njih ukupno 37), a trenutačno se izvode radovi bušenja plinskih zdenca na krovnom dijelu odlagališta. Do sad je na krovnom dijelu odlagališta izbušeno 12 zdenaca od ukupno 45.
Moramo napomenuti da na samom gradilištu nismo primijetili pojačani intenzitet neugodnih mirisa koji bi nastali izvođenjem radova pa čak ni u ljetnom periodu u vrijeme visokih temperatura - stoji u odgovoru Ante Krželja, voditelja projekta sanacije Karepovca u ime Grada Splita.

Kako je doznajemo, dnevne količine otpada kojim se manipulira prilikom bušenja zdenaca iznose 25 metara kubičnih što, ističe, nikako ne može biti uzrok pojačanog intenziteta neugodnih mirisa. Navodi i kako se u svaki zdenac koji se izbuši odmah postavlja perforirana cijev, te se ostatak bušotine oko cijevi ispunjava sitnim kamenim agregatom.
- Naglašavamo i kako je na južnoj kosini odlagališta u tijeku izvođenje završnog prekrivnog sustava čime se dodatno doprinosi smanjenju neugodnih mirisa. Rok dovršetka svih radova ove faze sanacije je kraj 2023. godine, dok se sami radovi bušenja plinskih zdenaca planiraju dovršiti do kraja tekuće godine. Od početka izvođenja radova na sanaciji provodi se mjerenje kvalitete zraka i do danas nije bilo prekoračenja dopuštenih vrijednosti - naglašava Krželj.

Na pritužbe građana odgovorila je i "Čistoća", u kojoj navode kako se otpad prikupljen na dnevnoj bazi prekriva zemljom, ističući kako su u tijeku radovi na prekrivanju odlagališta s aktivnim sustavom otplinjavanja.
- Sukladno Dozvoli za gospodarenje otpadom koju posjeduje "Čistoća" na odlagalištu Karepovac otpad se zbrinjava isključivo odlaganjem te se pri tom svakodnevno otpad prekriva slojem inertnog materijala (zemljom). Ujedno, na odlagalištu Karepovac su u zadnje vrijeme intenzivirane radnje na sanaciji odlagališta PAKET A, FAZA 3 - završni sustav prekrivanja s aktivnim sustavom otplinjavanja- stoji u njihovom odgovoru.
