Nekidan je na Fejsbuku arhitekt i splitoznanac Edo Šegvić proizveja pravu uzbunu zapitavši – a di je nestala kamena Adriana s poljudskoga bazena!?

Vitki lik sredozemne medvidice koji je za Mediteranske igre u Splitu 1979. osmislija slovenski umjetnik Oskar Kogoj bija je uz krugove rastopjene u moru Borisa Ljubičića najprepoznatljiviji simbol tih velikih godina za Split.

Izrađen je niz skulptura simpatične Adriane, jedna od plastične mase – plava – još je na ulazu u bazene na Poljudu, a bila je štampana na majice, pepeljare, kemijske, zastave, rokovnike, naljepnice, borše...

Ali malo-pomalo jedan sjajan umjetnički dizajn koji podisća na godine neviđenoga napretka grada je izblidija. Malo je poznato da je Kogoju ideju baš za medvidicu da slavni francuski istraživač mora Jacques Cousteau, koji je godinu prije boravija u Splitu, a ta je beštijica u ta doba skoro nestala iz Jadrana.

Na velikome natječaju građani su slali prijedloge za naziv maskote, ime Adriana je izabra novinar Miljenko Smoje, a 120 skulptura izrađenih u različitome kamenu iz svih mediteranskih zemalja poklonjene su predsjednicima zemalja sudionica MIS-a, od tih jedna crveno-bila još se može vidit na Titovu stolu na Brijunima.

Adriana je te godine predstavljena i zapažena na Svjetskome kongresu dizajna te godine u Meksiku. Najlipša vist je da se prije petnaestak godin opet vratila i nastanila u Jadransko more, ali, nažalost, iz Splita koji ima kratko pamćenje – ka da je nestala.

A onda je poslin primjedbe arhitekta Šegvića nastala potraga za onon s Poljuda. Ranije je bila na kantunu bazena i vidljiva s tleja, a sad je na sriću nađena, ali na drugome mistu.

–​ Pripa san se da je neko ukrca u kamion i odnija u nepoznatome smjeru. Na sriću nije, nego je primištena i skrivena iza bine uz bazen – objasnija nan je šjor Edo.

Ima bit da je smetala, možda plivačima, a možda i plesačima popularnoga noćnoga kluba na bazenima. U svakome slučaju ovu našu splitsku lipoticu tribalo bi čin prije donit na vidilo građanima i posjetiteljima grada.

Morski čovik kako su je Dalmatinci vikovima zvali danas je najugroženiji morski sisavac, more bit da ih je usve petstotinjak priživilo čovika, nekad radi ribolova, danas radi šporkice.

Ova naša Adriana – simbol sriće, lipote, čistoće i elegancije zaslužila je bolji tretman, u Splitu je ona i simbol sporta. A Zapadna obala na kojoj slavimo naše olimpijce, ubuduće i paraolimpijce, bila bi pravo misto, da je svi vidimo i s njon guštamo!

Nekidan je na Fejsbuku arhitekt i splitoznanac Edo Šegvić proizveja pravu uzbunu zapitavši – a di je nestala kamena Adriana s poljudskoga bazena!?

Vitki lik sredozemne medvidice koji je za Mediteranske igre u Splitu 1979. osmislija slovenski umjetnik Oskar Kogoj bija je uz krugove rastopjene u moru Borisa Ljubičića najprepoznatljiviji simbol tih velikih godina za Split.

Izrađen je niz skulptura simpatične Adriane, jedna od plastične mase – plava – još je na ulazu u bazene na Poljudu, a bila je štampana na majice, pepeljare, kemijske, zastave, rokovnike, naljepnice, borše...

Ali malo-pomalo jedan sjajan umjetnički dizajn koji podisća na godine neviđenoga napretka grada je izblidija. Malo je poznato da je Kogoju ideju baš za medvidicu da slavni francuski istraživač mora Jacques Cousteau, koji je godinu prije boravija u Splitu, a ta je beštijica u ta doba skoro nestala iz Jadrana.

Na velikome natječaju građani su slali prijedloge za naziv maskote, ime Adriana je izabra novinar Miljenko Smoje, a 120 skulptura izrađenih u različitome kamenu iz svih mediteranskih zemalja poklonjene su predsjednicima zemalja sudionica MIS-a, od tih jedna crveno-bila još se može vidit na Titovu stolu na Brijunima.

Adriana je te godine predstavljena i zapažena na Svjetskome kongresu dizajna te godine u Meksiku. Najlipša vist je da se prije petnaestak godin opet vratila i nastanila u Jadransko more, ali, nažalost, iz Splita koji ima kratko pamćenje – ka da je nestala.

A onda je poslin primjedbe arhitekta Šegvića nastala potraga za onon s Poljuda. Ranije je bila na kantunu bazena i vidljiva s tleja, a sad je na sriću nađena, ali na drugome mistu.

–​ Pripa san se da je neko ukrca u kamion i odnija u nepoznatome smjeru. Na sriću nije, nego je primištena i skrivena iza bine uz bazen – objasnija nan je šjor Edo.

Ima bit da je smetala, možda plivačima, a možda i plesačima popularnoga noćnoga kluba na bazenima. U svakome slučaju ovu našu splitsku lipoticu tribalo bi čin prije donit na vidilo građanima i posjetiteljima grada.

Morski čovik kako su je Dalmatinci vikovima zvali danas je najugroženiji morski sisavac, more bit da ih je usve petstotinjak priživilo čovika, nekad radi ribolova, danas radi šporkice.

Ova naša Adriana – simbol sriće, lipote, čistoće i elegancije zaslužila je bolji tretman, u Splitu je ona i simbol sporta. A Zapadna obala na kojoj slavimo naše olimpijce, ubuduće i paraolimpijce, bila bi pravo misto, da je svi vidimo i s njon guštamo!
