Ovogodišnja utrka Race for the cure koja će se održati na splitskoj Rivi u nedjelju u 18 sati već ima svoje pobjednike i prije starta. To su lavice koje su izdržale sve kušnje maligne bolesti i s mnogo pozitivnih impulsa daju snagu drugima.

Jedna od njih je i Ivana Krce, profesorica Elektrotehničke škole Split koja se ne libi o tome javno govoriti.

- O raku pričam javno od kada sam se suočila s dijagnozom, baš zato što jako puno ljudi zazire od toga. Teška je ta riječ karcinom. Zlosutna je, zastrašujućai stigmatizira, zbog čega ljudi često izbjegavaju preventivne preglede. Nažalost, u današnje vrijeme karcinom je sveprisutan. Upravo zato je potrebno javno govoriti o važnosti preventivnih pregleda, educirati i poticati ljude da se na njih odazovu jer o njima u velikoj mjeri ovisi pozitivan ishod liječenja. Smatram da je jednako važno osvijestiti da je oko nas veliki broj ljudi koje je dotakla ta bolest, ali su je pobijedili i unatoč dijagnozi vode kvalitetne živote. Neopisiv je osjećaj kad čujete da ste nekome svojim primjerom dali snagu za borbu i vjeru da će sve biti dobro.

Profesorica Krce je promotorica trke od njenog početka. Prve godine je dvadesetak njenih učenika trčalo kao podrška njoj koja je dvije godine prije toga vodila bitku za život. Dojmovi oko utrke su bili izvrsni, po školi su se dijelile fotografije i prepričavale anegdote s utrke. Interes za sudjelovanjem je rastao. Prošle godine sudjelovalo je tridesetak učenika, a ove godine ih je skoro 80 što ih čini najbrojnijom ekipom događaja. Učenicima Elektrotehničke škole ove godine se, uz desetak profesora, priključuju i neki od bivših učenika koji su na prvoj utrci 2019. trčali za svoju profesoricu.

Race for the cure postao je nezaobilazni dio školske godine u Elektrotehničkoj školi Split, a ove godine su učenici i njihova profesorica u znak podrške i sa željom da se što više ljudi odazove na ovaj humanitarni događaj, snimili video koji će malo koga ostaviti ravnodušnim.

Ivana Krce poučava ih svojim primjerom, a to je, kako i oni sami kažu, mnogo više od školskog programa.

Ovogodišnja utrka Race for the cure koja će se održati na splitskoj Rivi u nedjelju u 18 sati već ima svoje pobjednike i prije starta. To su lavice koje su izdržale sve kušnje maligne bolesti i s mnogo pozitivnih impulsa daju snagu drugima.

Jedna od njih je i Ivana Krce, profesorica Elektrotehničke škole Split koja se ne libi o tome javno govoriti.

- O raku pričam javno od kada sam se suočila s dijagnozom, baš zato što jako puno ljudi zazire od toga. Teška je ta riječ karcinom. Zlosutna je, zastrašujućai stigmatizira, zbog čega ljudi često izbjegavaju preventivne preglede. Nažalost, u današnje vrijeme karcinom je sveprisutan. Upravo zato je potrebno javno govoriti o važnosti preventivnih pregleda, educirati i poticati ljude da se na njih odazovu jer o njima u velikoj mjeri ovisi pozitivan ishod liječenja. Smatram da je jednako važno osvijestiti da je oko nas veliki broj ljudi koje je dotakla ta bolest, ali su je pobijedili i unatoč dijagnozi vode kvalitetne živote. Neopisiv je osjećaj kad čujete da ste nekome svojim primjerom dali snagu za borbu i vjeru da će sve biti dobro.

Profesorica Krce je promotorica trke od njenog početka. Prve godine je dvadesetak njenih učenika trčalo kao podrška njoj koja je dvije godine prije toga vodila bitku za život. Dojmovi oko utrke su bili izvrsni, po školi su se dijelile fotografije i prepričavale anegdote s utrke. Interes za sudjelovanjem je rastao. Prošle godine sudjelovalo je tridesetak učenika, a ove godine ih je skoro 80 što ih čini najbrojnijom ekipom događaja. Učenicima Elektrotehničke škole ove godine se, uz desetak profesora, priključuju i neki od bivših učenika koji su na prvoj utrci 2019. trčali za svoju profesoricu.

Race for the cure postao je nezaobilazni dio školske godine u Elektrotehničkoj školi Split, a ove godine su učenici i njihova profesorica u znak podrške i sa željom da se što više ljudi odazove na ovaj humanitarni događaj, snimili video koji će malo koga ostaviti ravnodušnim.
