Izložba "Velo misto i njegova fontana" otvorena je danas u Galeriji Muzeja grada Splita.

Izložba je otvorena simbolično na Svjetski dan voda u slavu splitskog Spomenika vodi – monumentalne fontane, čije je postavljanje obilježilo dolazak žive vode u Split povodom obnove Dioklecijanovog vodovoda 1880. godine.

Premda zbog epidemiološke situacije nije organizirana uobičajena svečanost otvorenja, izložbu su jutros razgledali uz poštivanje propisanih mjera HZJZ-a splitski gradonačelnik Andro Krstulović Opara te naši sugrađani koji su ustupili svoje obiteljske fotografije za izložbu.

Svi su se složili kako se radi o lijepoj i emotivnoj izložbi koja evocira uspomene na rekonstrukciju Splitske fontane postavljene u studenom 1979. godine na mjestu one porušene.

Rekonstrukciju fontane napravio je zagrebački kipar Stjepan Gračan za potrebe snimanja kadrova legendarne serije Velo misto. Izložbu prate prigodni katalog i suveniri.

O velikoj popularnosti koju je rekonstrukcija Splitske fontane izazvala kod Splićana svjedoči zapis iz Nedjeljne Dalmacije od 23. prosinca 1979. godine: Kada je na Rivi uskrsla stara, odavno srušena fontana, nitko nije mogao ni slutiti da će ona toliko plijeniti pažnju građana.

Improvizirana za snimanje televizijske serije Velo misto, koju je napisao novinar našeg lista Miljenko Smoje, predviđena je za kratko trajanje, tek toliko da odoli dok se ne snime scene vezane za ovaj autentični prostor, ali, kako stvari teku, desit bi se moglo da nam Riva za stalno vrati stari izgled. Stari Splićani, ili bar većina njih, pozdravili su fontanu što bi se dalo shvatiti kao žal za pustom mladošću, ali ona kao da je na prepad osvojila srca i mladih Splićana.

Uskrsla fontana postala je prvorazredna atrakcija: čitave familije i s djecom u kolicima, dolazile su se pred njom fotografirati. Profesionalni fotografi osjetili su biznis i počeli pred njom dežurati. Iškljocana je u desetak dana više nego za čitavog svog života 

Organizatori izložbe su Muzej grada Splita, Društvo prijatelja kulturne baštine Split – Komisija za obnovu Splitske fontane i "Lions klub Split", dok su pokrovitelji izložbe Grad Split i "Vodovod i kanalizacija".

Izložba se uz poštivanje propisanih mjera može razgledati u Galeriji Muzeja grada Splita do 2. travnja i to radnim danom od 9.30 do 16.30 sati te vikendom od 10 do 14 sati.

Izložba "Velo misto i njegova fontana" otvorena je danas u Galeriji Muzeja grada Splita.

Izložba je otvorena simbolično na Svjetski dan voda u slavu splitskog Spomenika vodi – monumentalne fontane, čije je postavljanje obilježilo dolazak žive vode u Split povodom obnove Dioklecijanovog vodovoda 1880. godine.

Premda zbog epidemiološke situacije nije organizirana uobičajena svečanost otvorenja, izložbu su jutros razgledali uz poštivanje propisanih mjera HZJZ-a splitski gradonačelnik Andro Krstulović Opara te naši sugrađani koji su ustupili svoje obiteljske fotografije za izložbu.

Svi su se složili kako se radi o lijepoj i emotivnoj izložbi koja evocira uspomene na rekonstrukciju Splitske fontane postavljene u studenom 1979. godine na mjestu one porušene.

Rekonstrukciju fontane napravio je zagrebački kipar Stjepan Gračan za potrebe snimanja kadrova legendarne serije Velo misto. Izložbu prate prigodni katalog i suveniri.

O velikoj popularnosti koju je rekonstrukcija Splitske fontane izazvala kod Splićana svjedoči zapis iz Nedjeljne Dalmacije od 23. prosinca 1979. godine: Kada je na Rivi uskrsla stara, odavno srušena fontana, nitko nije mogao ni slutiti da će ona toliko plijeniti pažnju građana.

Improvizirana za snimanje televizijske serije Velo misto, koju je napisao novinar našeg lista Miljenko Smoje, predviđena je za kratko trajanje, tek toliko da odoli dok se ne snime scene vezane za ovaj autentični prostor, ali, kako stvari teku, desit bi se moglo da nam Riva za stalno vrati stari izgled. Stari Splićani, ili bar većina njih, pozdravili su fontanu što bi se dalo shvatiti kao žal za pustom mladošću, ali ona kao da je na prepad osvojila srca i mladih Splićana.

Uskrsla fontana postala je prvorazredna atrakcija: čitave familije i s djecom u kolicima, dolazile su se pred njom fotografirati. Profesionalni fotografi osjetili su biznis i počeli pred njom dežurati. Iškljocana je u desetak dana više nego za čitavog svog života 

Organizatori izložbe su Muzej grada Splita, Društvo prijatelja kulturne baštine Split – Komisija za obnovu Splitske fontane i "Lions klub Split", dok su pokrovitelji izložbe Grad Split i "Vodovod i kanalizacija".

Izložba se uz poštivanje propisanih mjera može razgledati u Galeriji Muzeja grada Splita do 2. travnja i to radnim danom od 9.30 do 16.30 sati te vikendom od 10 do 14 sati.
