Sinoć je u Galeriji fotografije Fotokluba Split otvorena prva samostalna izložba mlade splitske fotografkinje Eme Carević. Prisutnima su se prigodnim riječima obratile Maja Prgomet, predsjednica Fotokluba Split, Ana Žanko, kustosica izložbe te sama autorica.

Izložba naziva ‘‘Model C‘‘ obuhvaća 21 fotografiju nastalu u različitim istraživačkim, životnim i razvojnim fazama, a okidač za nastanak ovog ciklusa, bio je srednjoškolski zadatak u okviru kojega je bilo potrebno kroz fotografiju prikazati depresiju kao bolest današnjice.

U tom su procesu nastale prve fotografije ljudskih tijela, bez lica i osobnosti, zbijenih, uvučenih, u tijesne prostore između ormara, niše, knjige na polici, a nakon čega je Carević zapravo otkrila vlastitu preokupaciju odnosom tijela i prostora. Kako sama ističe – snimajući te prve, rane fotografije, fasciniralo ju je koliko je zapravo teško skriti golo tijelo i koliko je sam prostor nemoćan spram pojavnosti tijela, pogotovo golog tijela. Tijelo automatski privlači poglede, budi znatiželju kod promatrača i praktički osporava, poništava prostor u kojem je fotografirano. S obzirom da je navedenu temu Carević odabrala i kao završni maturalni rad, dio fotografija nastao je u okolnostima pandemije koronavirusa i lockdowna, i to upravo u matičnoj obrazovnoj instituciji, Školi likovnih umjetnosti u Splitu.

"Prema tome je i naziv ciklusa ‘‘Model C‘‘ (Model C je službeni naziv online izvođenja nastave – kada učenici uopće nisu prisutni u školi) jasna referenca na izvanredne okolnosti nastanka fotografija koje u sebi komprimiraju čitav duh vremena – izolaciju, otuđenost, socijalno distanciranje, posljedično dosadu i osamljenost. Carević toj atmosferi kolektivne društvene psihoze suprotstavlja sitne ludizme, šašavosti svojih modela, koji leže goli po hladnim podovima, uvlače se u neobične kutke, šarmantno provocirajući gledatelje. Kako ističe kustosica izložbe, Ana Žanko – ‘‘Fotografirajući (dijelove) tijela u prostoru, Carević pokušava pronaći savršenu ravnotežu supostojanja tijela i prostora, pri čemu dijelova tijela koristi kao elemente kadra, ravnopravne elementima prostora u svrhu postizanja optimalnog kompozicijskog rješenja. I tijelo i prostor su jednaki – konstituitivni elementi svake fotografije, a izražajnost radova proizlazi upravo iz njihova prožimanja i interakcije.‘‘

Novost koja dolazi s ovom izložbom i novom godinom jest činjenica da se radi o potpunoj produkciji Fotokluba Split. Kako poručuju iz udruge, cilj im je svake godine u izložbeni program uvrstiti projekt novog, mladog autorskog lica, predstaviti njegov/njezin rad publici i u potpunosti osigurati financiranje. – U svijetu fotografije puno je mladih, talentiranih i perspektivnih lica koja ne mogu doći do izražaja, ne mogu doprijeti do publike jer nemaju sredstva za produkciju, u prvom redu za tisak i opremanje fotografija", ističu iz Fotokluba Split te nastavljaju:

"Tako smo odlučili u ovom pravcu da mi kao udruga svake godine podržimo i damo vjetar u leđa nekome u čiji rad mi vjerujemo. Odluku donosi sedmeročlani stručni Umjetnički savjet udruge, a za 2023. jednoglasno je odabrana Ema Carević, inače studentica splitske Akademije, čiji rad pratimo već dulje vrijeme i vjerujemo da je pred njom sjajan put.“

Izložba je realizirana uz podršku Ministarstva kulture i medija i Grada Splita te je dio programa ‘‘Redovni godišnji program udruge Fotoklub Split‘‘ koji se financira iz sredstava podrške Zaklade "Kultura nova".

Izložba ostaje otvorena do 6. veljače i može se pogledati u radno vrijeme Galerije fotografija.

Sinoć je u Galeriji fotografije Fotokluba Split otvorena prva samostalna izložba mlade splitske fotografkinje Eme Carević. Prisutnima su se prigodnim riječima obratile Maja Prgomet, predsjednica Fotokluba Split, Ana Žanko, kustosica izložbe te sama autorica.

Izložba naziva ‘‘Model C‘‘ obuhvaća 21 fotografiju nastalu u različitim istraživačkim, životnim i razvojnim fazama, a okidač za nastanak ovog ciklusa, bio je srednjoškolski zadatak u okviru kojega je bilo potrebno kroz fotografiju prikazati depresiju kao bolest današnjice.

U tom su procesu nastale prve fotografije ljudskih tijela, bez lica i osobnosti, zbijenih, uvučenih, u tijesne prostore između ormara, niše, knjige na polici, a nakon čega je Carević zapravo otkrila vlastitu preokupaciju odnosom tijela i prostora. Kako sama ističe – snimajući te prve, rane fotografije, fasciniralo ju je koliko je zapravo teško skriti golo tijelo i koliko je sam prostor nemoćan spram pojavnosti tijela, pogotovo golog tijela. Tijelo automatski privlači poglede, budi znatiželju kod promatrača i praktički osporava, poništava prostor u kojem je fotografirano. S obzirom da je navedenu temu Carević odabrala i kao završni maturalni rad, dio fotografija nastao je u okolnostima pandemije koronavirusa i lockdowna, i to upravo u matičnoj obrazovnoj instituciji, Školi likovnih umjetnosti u Splitu.

"Prema tome je i naziv ciklusa ‘‘Model C‘‘ (Model C je službeni naziv online izvođenja nastave – kada učenici uopće nisu prisutni u školi) jasna referenca na izvanredne okolnosti nastanka fotografija koje u sebi komprimiraju čitav duh vremena – izolaciju, otuđenost, socijalno distanciranje, posljedično dosadu i osamljenost. Carević toj atmosferi kolektivne društvene psihoze suprotstavlja sitne ludizme, šašavosti svojih modela, koji leže goli po hladnim podovima, uvlače se u neobične kutke, šarmantno provocirajući gledatelje. Kako ističe kustosica izložbe, Ana Žanko – ‘‘Fotografirajući (dijelove) tijela u prostoru, Carević pokušava pronaći savršenu ravnotežu supostojanja tijela i prostora, pri čemu dijelova tijela koristi kao elemente kadra, ravnopravne elementima prostora u svrhu postizanja optimalnog kompozicijskog rješenja. I tijelo i prostor su jednaki – konstituitivni elementi svake fotografije, a izražajnost radova proizlazi upravo iz njihova prožimanja i interakcije.‘‘

Novost koja dolazi s ovom izložbom i novom godinom jest činjenica da se radi o potpunoj produkciji Fotokluba Split. Kako poručuju iz udruge, cilj im je svake godine u izložbeni program uvrstiti projekt novog, mladog autorskog lica, predstaviti njegov/njezin rad publici i u potpunosti osigurati financiranje. – U svijetu fotografije puno je mladih, talentiranih i perspektivnih lica koja ne mogu doći do izražaja, ne mogu doprijeti do publike jer nemaju sredstva za produkciju, u prvom redu za tisak i opremanje fotografija", ističu iz Fotokluba Split te nastavljaju:

"Tako smo odlučili u ovom pravcu da mi kao udruga svake godine podržimo i damo vjetar u leđa nekome u čiji rad mi vjerujemo. Odluku donosi sedmeročlani stručni Umjetnički savjet udruge, a za 2023. jednoglasno je odabrana Ema Carević, inače studentica splitske Akademije, čiji rad pratimo već dulje vrijeme i vjerujemo da je pred njom sjajan put.“

Izložba je realizirana uz podršku Ministarstva kulture i medija i Grada Splita te je dio programa ‘‘Redovni godišnji program udruge Fotoklub Split‘‘ koji se financira iz sredstava podrške Zaklade "Kultura nova".

Izložba ostaje otvorena do 6. veljače i može se pogledati u radno vrijeme Galerije fotografija.
