Nitko ne gospodari i ne upravlja Zapadnom obalom. Dosad je tu ulogu imala gradska tvrtka Splitska obala, a mi smatramo da je ona vrijedan gradski resurs koji služi na ponos našem gradu i za njegovu dodatnu promociju s obzirom na sve one koji su se privezivali na nju. Ne gledamo na nju kao problem gdje se gube novci. Ako ova situacija potraje godišnje će se gubiti više od pet milijuna kuna- kazao je na početku press konferencije čelnik splitskog HDZ-a Vice Mihanović koji je predstavio rješenje za upravljanje Zapadnom obalom i kazao da je riječ o nastavku inicijative "Dajmo ruke Splitu".
Prijedlog koji je s njim prezentirao lučki kapetan Željko Kuštera jest da se prošire granice područja splitske gradske luke i na Zapadnu obalu, odnosno da se to područje da na upravljanje Lučkoj upravi Split.

- Dnevno imamo oko 500 uplovljenja u ljetnoj sezoni. Sada jasno nema nautičkog turizma i nema te vreve, ali moramo se pripremiti za sljedeće ljeto. Stoga smo razvili stav da se prošire granice područja splitske gradske luke u kojem bi se direktno preko Vlade proširilo područje granice luke i gdje bi došlo na upravljanje Lučkoj upravi Split- kazao je Kuštera pa istaknuo da Lučka uprava Split ima operativni centar koji radi 24 sata.

- Što se tiče dijela sigurnosti automatski bi imali uvid i cjelodnevni pregled uplovljavanja i isplovljavanja što je za sigurnost i ne daj Bože onečišćenja. Stoga je taj prijedlog da se proširi granica lučkoga područja tako da se direktno da na upravljanje Lučkoj upravi Split koja ima već svoje resurse i ljude. To je najbrži i najefikasniji način kako bi povećali sigurnost na tom dijelu- kazao je Kuštera.
Potom je Mihanović istaknuo da bi njihov prijedlog mogao situaciju sa Zapadnom obalom riješiti u nekoliko mjeseci.

- Postupak je sljedeći, odluka ide na Vladu, proširi se Lučko područje i već se može, sukladno Zakonu, i županijskom prostornom planu upravljati tim područjem. Ono što je alternativa ovom rješenju je da Grad treba ići u izmjene GUP-a, a taj će postupak trajati znatno duže i sljedeći korak je nakon što Grad izmjeni GUP ide natječaj za koncesiju Županije i na tu koncesiju se može javiti bilo tko. Nema jamstva da će Grad i gradska tvrtka dobiti koncesiju- kazao je pa dodao da bi takvo što bilo neizvjesna avantura koja ima negativne smjerove.
Lučka uprava, kaže, treba jamčiti da će sve što zaradi na Zapadnoj ponovno uložiti u nju i da se neće ponašati kao privatna tvrtka koja će svoju dobit investirati u nešto treće.
- Nudimo rješenje da u jednom kratkom roku od nekoliko mjeseci riješimo gorući problem našeg grada i uvedemo red na tom dijelu koji je značajni resurs i Grada i obale i da sve što se uprihodi ponovno uloži u nju- zaključio je Mihanović.

Nitko ne gospodari i ne upravlja Zapadnom obalom. Dosad je tu ulogu imala gradska tvrtka Splitska obala, a mi smatramo da je ona vrijedan gradski resurs koji služi na ponos našem gradu i za njegovu dodatnu promociju s obzirom na sve one koji su se privezivali na nju. Ne gledamo na nju kao problem gdje se gube novci. Ako ova situacija potraje godišnje će se gubiti više od pet milijuna kuna- kazao je na početku press konferencije čelnik splitskog HDZ-a Vice Mihanović koji je predstavio rješenje za upravljanje Zapadnom obalom i kazao da je riječ o nastavku inicijative "Dajmo ruke Splitu".
Prijedlog koji je s njim prezentirao lučki kapetan Željko Kuštera jest da se prošire granice područja splitske gradske luke i na Zapadnu obalu, odnosno da se to područje da na upravljanje Lučkoj upravi Split.

- Dnevno imamo oko 500 uplovljenja u ljetnoj sezoni. Sada jasno nema nautičkog turizma i nema te vreve, ali moramo se pripremiti za sljedeće ljeto. Stoga smo razvili stav da se prošire granice područja splitske gradske luke u kojem bi se direktno preko Vlade proširilo područje granice luke i gdje bi došlo na upravljanje Lučkoj upravi Split- kazao je Kuštera pa istaknuo da Lučka uprava Split ima operativni centar koji radi 24 sata.

- Što se tiče dijela sigurnosti automatski bi imali uvid i cjelodnevni pregled uplovljavanja i isplovljavanja što je za sigurnost i ne daj Bože onečišćenja. Stoga je taj prijedlog da se proširi granica lučkoga područja tako da se direktno da na upravljanje Lučkoj upravi Split koja ima već svoje resurse i ljude. To je najbrži i najefikasniji način kako bi povećali sigurnost na tom dijelu- kazao je Kuštera.
Potom je Mihanović istaknuo da bi njihov prijedlog mogao situaciju sa Zapadnom obalom riješiti u nekoliko mjeseci.

- Postupak je sljedeći, odluka ide na Vladu, proširi se Lučko područje i već se može, sukladno Zakonu, i županijskom prostornom planu upravljati tim područjem. Ono što je alternativa ovom rješenju je da Grad treba ići u izmjene GUP-a, a taj će postupak trajati znatno duže i sljedeći korak je nakon što Grad izmjeni GUP ide natječaj za koncesiju Županije i na tu koncesiju se može javiti bilo tko. Nema jamstva da će Grad i gradska tvrtka dobiti koncesiju- kazao je pa dodao da bi takvo što bilo neizvjesna avantura koja ima negativne smjerove.
Lučka uprava, kaže, treba jamčiti da će sve što zaradi na Zapadnoj ponovno uložiti u nju i da se neće ponašati kao privatna tvrtka koja će svoju dobit investirati u nešto treće.
- Nudimo rješenje da u jednom kratkom roku od nekoliko mjeseci riješimo gorući problem našeg grada i uvedemo red na tom dijelu koji je značajni resurs i Grada i obale i da sve što se uprihodi ponovno uloži u nju- zaključio je Mihanović.
