Gradsko društvo Crvenog križa Split 13. prosinca obilježava stoljeće postojanja!
Program koji će se obilježiti humanih i nesebičnih 100 godina djelovanja ove organizacije nazvan je "Stoljeće humanosti u znaku Crvenog križa", a održat će se u velikoj dvorani Hrvatskoga doma s početkom u 9 sati.

Naime, prvi dokumenti o osnivanju splitskog Crvenog križa sežu u 1920. godinu kad su u prvi mjesni Odbor izabrani dr. Jozo Arambašić za predsjednika, pukovnik komandnog Mosta Petrović za potpredsjednika, draguljar Antun Radić za blagajnika te učitelj Lovro Hribar za tajnika. Od tada do danas nije stala humanitarna djelatnost Crvenog križa u Splitu koji je kroz djelovanje okupljao brojne pojedince, istaknute i angažirane članove društva, ali i anonimce dobre volje i spremne pomoći, ne tražeći ništa zauzvrat. Danas Crveni križ djeluje i kao operativna snaga sustava civilne zaštite.

Prilikom svečanoga programa u idući utorak ravnatelj splitskog Crvenog križa, Tomislav Gojo, dat će Izvješće o radu organizacije, a uz to će biti prikazan i desetominutni film o djelovanje ove organizacije.
U nastavku programa bit će održana tri tematska panela: humanitarno djelovanje, organizirano darivanje krvi te djelovanje u katastrofama, koji za cilj imaju informirati i senzibilizirati javnost za teme od posebnog interesa koje se tiču najugroženijih kategorija stanovništva kojima je život u opasnosti izostankom hrane i uopće materijalne pomoći, krvi ili svega navedenog.

Gradsko drustvo Crvenog kriza često organizira zdravstvene akcije. U Đardinu su ovoga ljeta organizirali besplatne preglede tlaka, sećera i drugih parametara.

Program koji će se obilježiti humanih i nesebičnih 100 godina djelovanja ove organizacije nazvan je "Stoljeće humanosti u znaku Crvenog križa", a održat će se u velikoj dvorani Hrvatskoga doma s početkom u 9 sati.

Naime, prvi dokumenti o osnivanju splitskog Crvenog križa sežu u 1920. godinu kad su u prvi mjesni Odbor izabrani dr. Jozo Arambašić za predsjednika, pukovnik komandnog Mosta Petrović za potpredsjednika, draguljar Antun Radić za blagajnika te učitelj Lovro Hribar za tajnika. Od tada do danas nije stala humanitarna djelatnost Crvenog križa u Splitu koji je kroz djelovanje okupljao brojne pojedince, istaknute i angažirane članove društva, ali i anonimce dobre volje i spremne pomoći, ne tražeći ništa zauzvrat. Danas Crveni križ djeluje i kao operativna snaga sustava civilne zaštite.

Prilikom svečanoga programa u idući utorak ravnatelj splitskog Crvenog križa, Tomislav Gojo, dat će Izvješće o radu organizacije, a uz to će biti prikazan i desetominutni film o djelovanje ove organizacije.
U nastavku programa bit će održana tri tematska panela: humanitarno djelovanje, organizirano darivanje krvi te djelovanje u katastrofama, koji za cilj imaju informirati i senzibilizirati javnost za teme od posebnog interesa koje se tiču najugroženijih kategorija stanovništva kojima je život u opasnosti izostankom hrane i uopće materijalne pomoći, krvi ili svega navedenog.
