Žene koje na splitskom Pazaru prodaju mahovinu požalile su nam se da je potražnja mahovine znatno manja u odnosu na prethodne godine. Na bancima se prodaje za tri, četiri ili pet eura, ovisno o veličini, po macu. Iako je Božić u velikom broju obitelji nezamisliv bez jaslica, izgleda da sve manje ljudi njeguje ovu tradiciju.

– Mi smo vam prije uvijek bili uz pločnik od Pazara od stare Realke ili odmah pored mjesta gdje se prodaju borovi i ljudi su navikli da je tako. Sada su nas prebacili ovdje na banke pa ljudima nema logike da idu kupiti povrće pa onda da usput kupuju mahovinu. Tamo dok smo bili, bilo je nekako logično da nakon što kupe bor usput uzmu i mahovinu, a sad nitko ništa – žali se jedna od prodavačica.

Kažu da je sreća što su ih barem pustili na banke, a neki se pitaju ima li smisla mučiti se i brati mahovinu koja onda na bancima stoji samo da bi se osušila. I ubrati je i smočiti se i dovesti je do Splita, puno je to posla, a malo para.

Žene koje na splitskom Pazaru prodaju mahovinu požalile su nam se da je potražnja mahovine znatno manja u odnosu na prethodne godine. Na bancima se prodaje za tri, četiri ili pet eura, ovisno o veličini, po macu. Iako je Božić u velikom broju obitelji nezamisliv bez jaslica, izgleda da sve manje ljudi njeguje ovu tradiciju.

– Mi smo vam prije uvijek bili uz pločnik od Pazara od stare Realke ili odmah pored mjesta gdje se prodaju borovi i ljudi su navikli da je tako. Sada su nas prebacili ovdje na banke pa ljudima nema logike da idu kupiti povrće pa onda da usput kupuju mahovinu. Tamo dok smo bili, bilo je nekako logično da nakon što kupe bor usput uzmu i mahovinu, a sad nitko ništa – žali se jedna od prodavačica.

Kažu da je sreća što su ih barem pustili na banke, a neki se pitaju ima li smisla mučiti se i brati mahovinu koja onda na bancima stoji samo da bi se osušila. I ubrati je i smočiti se i dovesti je do Splita, puno je to posla, a malo para.
