Svibanj je najbolji mjesec za sadnju. Gradski su pazari upravo zbog toga puni sadnica poma svih vrsta, karote, brokule, kukumara, balancana, salate, tikvica, rotkvica i ostalog povrća. Prodavači sadnica imaju pune ruke posla, ljudi kupuju pa sade čak i po balkonima, ali ipak, prodaja nije kao što je bila nekad.

– Zemlja je borba! Triba radit od jutra do sutra, a prodaja nije ko što je bila. Evo, lani su sve sadnice bile po 2,5 kune, a ove godine su po tri. Kako je sve poskupilo, ulazni troškovi pogotovo, tribalo je još dignut cijene, al nemaš kome prodat ni za tri kune. Puno njih traži dobro, provjereno sime, a njega triba dobro i platit. Iskreno, poljoprivreda je postala skupa. Bolje radit za plaću, ako je dobra. Oko vrtla se triba cili dan trudit, a pitanje je oće li ti se vratit uloženo – rekao nam je prodavač Luka iz Otoka, kojega smo zatekli na pazariću na Plokitama. Odmahuje rukom, ne želi se slikati. Da mu ne treba reklama.

Sadnice poma

Gurajući unuka u kolicima, Marko Šolić upravo je od njega kupio sadnice kukumara. Svaka po tri kune.

– A kupujem sadnice, iako se baš i ne isplati sadit. Uzmeš sadnice poma, kukumara, balancana, paprika, sve po tri kune, a kad posadiš, čeka te svakodnevni trud. Samo vode ode po 400, 500 kuna misečno, triba i gnoja dosta... Imam svoj vrt ovdi u blizini. Žena i ja smo sami, dica imaju svoje. Ma ne triba nama toliko povrća, ali opet, lipo je imat svoje. Kad znaš kako je to raslo. A i puno je starijih susjeda koji nemaju, pa uvik sadim malo više. Volim podilit s drugima i obradovat ih – veli nam šjor Marko.

Domaći proizvodi

Obiteljsku tradiciju prodaje sadnica i zeleni na pazariću nastavlja Ante Mandalinić, rođeni Poljičanin s adresom na Mejašima. I on potvrđuje kako je poljoprivreda mukotrpna, ali ako ne posadiš svoje, ostaje ti uvoz, neprovjerene namirnice iz bijelog svijeta. Zato je oštar zagovornik domaćih proizvoda i proizvođača, koji zaslužuju sve moguće poticaje i podršku, kako od domaćih kupaca, tako i od institucija.

– Bez jake poljoprivrede i jakog gospodarstva nema uspješne države. Ali danas nije lako nikome jer je sve poskupilo, i kas, i gnojivo, i prehrana. Čak za 300 posto, pa ko će se okrenut zemlji?! Izila slama kravu, što se kaže. A svitu je lakše zarađivat na apartmanima nego na poljoprivredi.

Znate šta me najviše naljuti? Kad naši ljudi nemaju pojma razliku između pome i banane, niti da kokoš daje jaje. Imaju godina, a nisu u životu ništa posadili! Znam, najlakše je kupit brokulu iz Italije i blitvu ko zna odakle po velikim dućanima. Zato naši poljoprivrednici i propadaju.

A tek mladi! Meni nema kupca ispod 50 godina. Naša dica se srame otić na pazar, eno ih u centrima, diskotekama, ne pitaju odakle ručak na stolu – kritičan je Ante, koji spravlja i čuveni poljički soparnik, koji se naručuje barem deset dana prije.

– Triba ubrat, očistit, oprat i osušit blitvu. Onda ide ostala priprema za soparnik. Triba nać drva, a sve puno zmija sada... Ima tu posla koliko oćete ako ćete radit na tradicionalni način.

Zato ne stignem svaki dan bit na pazaru, nego dva put tjedno. Posla u vrtu ima koliko oćete. Kad uđeš u vrt, nema ti vanka do noći. Al bar imaš svoje. I zdravo – kaže nam Mandalinić.

Svibanj je najbolji mjesec za sadnju. Gradski su pazari upravo zbog toga puni sadnica poma svih vrsta, karote, brokule, kukumara, balancana, salate, tikvica, rotkvica i ostalog povrća. Prodavači sadnica imaju pune ruke posla, ljudi kupuju pa sade čak i po balkonima, ali ipak, prodaja nije kao što je bila nekad.

– Zemlja je borba! Triba radit od jutra do sutra, a prodaja nije ko što je bila. Evo, lani su sve sadnice bile po 2,5 kune, a ove godine su po tri. Kako je sve poskupilo, ulazni troškovi pogotovo, tribalo je još dignut cijene, al nemaš kome prodat ni za tri kune. Puno njih traži dobro, provjereno sime, a njega triba dobro i platit. Iskreno, poljoprivreda je postala skupa. Bolje radit za plaću, ako je dobra. Oko vrtla se triba cili dan trudit, a pitanje je oće li ti se vratit uloženo – rekao nam je prodavač Luka iz Otoka, kojega smo zatekli na pazariću na Plokitama. Odmahuje rukom, ne želi se slikati. Da mu ne treba reklama.

Gurajući unuka u kolicima, Marko Šolić upravo je od njega kupio sadnice kukumara. Svaka po tri kune.

– A kupujem sadnice, iako se baš i ne isplati sadit. Uzmeš sadnice poma, kukumara, balancana, paprika, sve po tri kune, a kad posadiš, čeka te svakodnevni trud. Samo vode ode po 400, 500 kuna misečno, triba i gnoja dosta... Imam svoj vrt ovdi u blizini. Žena i ja smo sami, dica imaju svoje. Ma ne triba nama toliko povrća, ali opet, lipo je imat svoje. Kad znaš kako je to raslo. A i puno je starijih susjeda koji nemaju, pa uvik sadim malo više. Volim podilit s drugima i obradovat ih – veli nam šjor Marko.

Domaći proizvodi

Obiteljsku tradiciju prodaje sadnica i zeleni na pazariću nastavlja Ante Mandalinić, rođeni Poljičanin s adresom na Mejašima. I on potvrđuje kako je poljoprivreda mukotrpna, ali ako ne posadiš svoje, ostaje ti uvoz, neprovjerene namirnice iz bijelog svijeta. Zato je oštar zagovornik domaćih proizvoda i proizvođača, koji zaslužuju sve moguće poticaje i podršku, kako od domaćih kupaca, tako i od institucija.

– Bez jake poljoprivrede i jakog gospodarstva nema uspješne države. Ali danas nije lako nikome jer je sve poskupilo, i kas, i gnojivo, i prehrana. Čak za 300 posto, pa ko će se okrenut zemlji?! Izila slama kravu, što se kaže. A svitu je lakše zarađivat na apartmanima nego na poljoprivredi.

Znate šta me najviše naljuti? Kad naši ljudi nemaju pojma razliku između pome i banane, niti da kokoš daje jaje. Imaju godina, a nisu u životu ništa posadili! Znam, najlakše je kupit brokulu iz Italije i blitvu ko zna odakle po velikim dućanima. Zato naši poljoprivrednici i propadaju.

A tek mladi! Meni nema kupca ispod 50 godina. Naša dica se srame otić na pazar, eno ih u centrima, diskotekama, ne pitaju odakle ručak na stolu – kritičan je Ante, koji spravlja i čuveni poljički soparnik, koji se naručuje barem deset dana prije.

– Triba ubrat, očistit, oprat i osušit blitvu. Onda ide ostala priprema za soparnik. Triba nać drva, a sve puno zmija sada... Ima tu posla koliko oćete ako ćete radit na tradicionalni način.

Zato ne stignem svaki dan bit na pazaru, nego dva put tjedno. Posla u vrtu ima koliko oćete. Kad uđeš u vrt, nema ti vanka do noći. Al bar imaš svoje. I zdravo – kaže nam Mandalinić.

Svibanj je najbolji mjesec za sadnju. Gradski su pazari upravo zbog toga puni sadnica poma svih vrsta, karote, brokule, kukumara, balancana, salate, tikvica, rotkvica i ostalog povrća. Prodavači sadnica imaju pune ruke posla, ljudi kupuju pa sade čak i po balkonima, ali ipak, prodaja nije kao što je bila nekad.

– Zemlja je borba! Triba radit od jutra do sutra, a prodaja nije ko što je bila. Evo, lani su sve sadnice bile po 2,5 kune, a ove godine su po tri. Kako je sve poskupilo, ulazni troškovi pogotovo, tribalo je još dignut cijene, al nemaš kome prodat ni za tri kune. Puno njih traži dobro, provjereno sime, a njega triba dobro i platit. Iskreno, poljoprivreda je postala skupa. Bolje radit za plaću, ako je dobra. Oko vrtla se triba cili dan trudit, a pitanje je oće li ti se vratit u...
