Davor Matijević, predsjednik splitskog ogranka SDP-a, otkrio je da neće biti kandidat SDP-a na listi za Sabor. Split je, kaže, prevelik grad i želi se maksimalno posvetiti gradskim temama. 

- Politikom se bavim kako bih pomogao svojim susjedima i sugrađanima, odnosno kako bih svoj kvart i svoj grad učinio boljim mjestom za život. Ne treba mi fotelja radi fotelje i nisam od onih koji mogu biti kandidati od kotara pa do Europskog parlamenta, koji bi se u želji za moći, da mogu, kandidirali i za papu.

Oduvijek su bili ostat će za mene, moj kvart i moj grad. Umoran sam od ispraznog politikantstva, umoran od parazitiranja na strahu od lošijih od sebe, umoran sam od toga da grad stagnira ili se stihijski razvija, umoran od toga da Split zaostaje za svim gradovima u okruženju i da sa dozom ljubomore ranije gledamo na razvoj Zadra, a posljednjih godina Trogira, Šibenika, da od Dubrovnika neuspješno pokušavamo kopirati nove politike i prakse – napisao je na Facebooku. 

Kaže da mnogi od njega očekuju da se kandidira za sabor, pošto je predsjednik druge najveće organizacije SDP-a u državi, ali on smatra da je vrijeme političara opće prakse prošlo. Njegov film su, navodi, liftovi, dnevni boravci i domovi za starije, povoljno stanovanje, parking, mobilnost osoba s invaliditetom, krematorij, čiste ulice, biciklističke staze, zelenilo, pošten i jasan GUP...

- Dok god sam politički aktivan trudit ću se to promijeniti i Split će biti moja posljednja instanca. Poštujem ulogu saborskog zastupnika, ali Split je prevelik grad i želim se maksimalno posvetiti gradskim temama, a ne varati Splićane u pokušaju da im se u narednih godinu dana reklamiram sa Saborske pozornice... nisam taj - nastavlja.

Ponosan je na svoje djelovanje na razini kotara Blatine, čiji je predsjednik već tri mandanta, ali i na sve što je učinio u Gradskom vijeću. 

- Politikom sam se počeo baviti kroz svoj kotar i sa željom da obnovim sportsko rekreacijski centar kojem je prijetila koncesija i odlazak u ruke privatniku. Uspio sam u tome, ali i u puno drugih stvari koje sam realizirao u kotaru u ova 3 mandata. S vremenom sam učio o gradu, gradskim temama i kao gradski vijećnik pokrenuo, ukazivao sam na probleme, ali još važnije nudio rješenja od kojih su neka provedena i na to sam ponosan.  

Uvjeren sam da će u Saboru interes našeg grada braniti moji stranački kolege koji u tome imaju puno više iskustva. Stali smo iza njih bez dileme, bez fige i s puno povjerenja. Uvjeren sam će im se pridružiti i oni koji nisu iz Splita, ali su se u svojim, manjim sredinama itekako iskazali, a znam i da im je Split pri srcu, ali o jednima i drugima više u mjesecima koji su pred nama - zaključio je. 

No, to što Matijević "neće iz Splita" ne znači da splitski SDP neće imati svoje predstavnike na listi za sabor. Gradski odbor je za sabor izglasao Ranka Ostojića, Branka Grčića i Rafaelu Matić kao predsjednicu Savjeta mladih Grada Splita i predsjednicu Foruma mladih. Podršku su dali i “susjedima” Anti Biliću i Miši Krstičeviću, gradonačelnicima Trogira i Ploča.

Davor Matijević, predsjednik splitskog ogranka SDP-a, otkrio je da neće biti kandidat SDP-a na listi za Sabor. Split je, kaže, prevelik grad i želi se maksimalno posvetiti gradskim temama. 

- Politikom se bavim kako bih pomogao svojim susjedima i sugrađanima, odnosno kako bih svoj kvart i svoj grad učinio boljim mjestom za život. Ne treba mi fotelja radi fotelje i nisam od onih koji mogu biti kandidati od kotara pa do Europskog parlamenta, koji bi se u želji za moći, da mogu, kandidirali i za papu.

Oduvijek su bili ostat će za mene, moj kvart i moj grad. Umoran sam od ispraznog politikantstva, umoran od parazitiranja na strahu od lošijih od sebe, umoran sam od toga da grad stagnira ili se stihijski razvija, umoran od toga da Split zaostaje za svim gradovima u okruženju i da sa dozom ljubomore ranije gledamo na razvoj Zadra, a posljednjih godina Trogira, Šibenika, da od Dubrovnika neuspješno pokušavamo kopirati nove politike i prakse – napisao je na Facebooku. 

Kaže da mnogi od njega očekuju da se kandidira za sabor, pošto je predsjednik druge najveće organizacije SDP-a u državi, ali on smatra da je vrijeme političara opće prakse prošlo. Njegov film su, navodi, liftovi, dnevni boravci i domovi za starije, povoljno stanovanje, parking, mobilnost osoba s invaliditetom, krematorij, čiste ulice, biciklističke staze, zelenilo, pošten i jasan GUP...

- Dok god sam politički aktivan trudit ću se to promijeniti i Split će biti moja posljednja instanca. Poštujem ulogu saborskog zastupnika, ali Split je prevelik grad i želim se maksimalno posvetiti gradskim temama, a ne varati Splićane u pokušaju da im se u narednih godinu dana reklamiram sa Saborske pozornice... nisam taj - nastavlja.

Ponosan je na svoje djelovanje na razini kotara Blatine, čiji je predsjednik već tri mandanta, ali i na sve što je učinio u Gradskom vijeću. 

- Politikom sam se počeo baviti kroz svoj kotar i sa željom da obnovim sportsko rekreacijski centar kojem je prijetila koncesija i odlazak u ruke privatniku. Uspio sam u tome, ali i u puno drugih stvari koje sam realizirao u kotaru u ova 3 mandata. S vremenom sam učio o gradu, gradskim temama i kao gradski vijećnik pokrenuo, ukazivao sam na probleme, ali još važnije nudio rješenja od kojih su neka provedena i na to sam ponosan.  

Uvjeren sam da će u Saboru interes našeg grada braniti moji stranački kolege koji u tome imaju puno više iskustva. Stali smo iza njih bez dileme, bez fige i s puno povjerenja. Uvjeren sam će im se pridružiti i oni koji nisu iz Splita, ali su se u svojim, manjim sredinama itekako iskazali, a znam i da im je Split pri srcu, ali o jednima i drugima više u mjesecima koji su pred nama - zaključio je. 

No, to što Matijević "neće iz Splita" ne znači da splitski SDP neće imati svoje predstavnike na listi za sabor. Gradski odbor je za sabor izglasao Ranka Ostojića, Branka Grčića i Rafaelu Matić kao predsjednicu Savjeta mladih Grada Splita i predsjednicu Foruma mladih. Podršku su dali i “susjedima” Anti Biliću i Miši Krstičeviću, gradonačelnicima Trogira i Ploča.
