Masovni turizam funkcionira po principu neobuzdane konzumacije djevičanskog lokaliteta pri čemu, u pokušaju da se svake sezone sve više svidi i tako profitira, infrastruktura mutira u beživotnu amorfnu kulisu, a prirodne ljepote, devastirane eksploatacijom, postaju rugobe. Ako vam je potreban primjer, pogledajte Podstranu ili Dioklecijanovu palaču.

Masovni turizam ima rok trajanja. Jednog dana će se Splićani probuditi u svojoj kući van Splita i spoznati da je njihov lipi Split, kojeg su im puna usta, naročito u sezoni, prodan za, doduše, fine novce; baš za onu svotu koja je bila potrebna da ga se odreknu. Zapravo, sve se ovo već dogodilo, samo što se još nije oglasio alarm za buđenje pa su građani još uvijek ušuškani u mekana obećanja o lakoj lovi koju donosi turizam.

Masovni turizam je uvjerio ljude da trebaju biti sretni što oni koji su bogatiji od njih dolaze konzumirati ljepote njihovog kraja dok im lokalci služe kao posluga i pružaju ruke prema manči, a razulareni stranci se odnose prema njihovom gradu kao prema wc školjci. Turizam je preprodaja iskustva, a masovni turizam je prodaja masovnog iskustva koje, da bi se toliko puta umnožilo, mora postati plastično.

Savršeni simbol da najveća vrijednost našeg grada i razlog zbog kojeg smo, uvjetno rečeno, podareni turizmom, Dioklecijanova palača, postaje kineska imitacija same sebe smo pronašli na jednom od njenih najposjećenijih i najznačajnijih punktova - Zlatnim vratima.

Tamo je prozor, onaj koji je najbliži slavnom prolazu, zaogrnut, ni manje ni više nego - aluminijskim škurama. Sami prizor izgleda potpuno nadrealno i preporučujemo čitateljima da ga odu vidjeti uživo, prije nego ga Konzervatorski odjel, barem kako su nam najavili, ne ukloni. Inače, doznajemo da ova instalacija datira negdje iz ere Andre Krstulovića Opare, dakle par godina.

- Konzervatorski odjel u Splitu nije odobrio predmetni zahvat u neposrednoj blizini Zlatnih vrata, a vidljivo je da zahvat nije u skladu s propisanim mjerama zaštite kulturnih dobara, te se ni u kom slučaju ne možemo složiti s upotrebom neprimjerenog materijala.

Dobro je poznato da u slučaju zahvata na kulturnim dobrima iz ranijih povijesnih razdoblja, a pogotovo kada je u pitanju spomenik koji se nalazi na popisu svjetske baštine UNESCO-a, konzervatori uvijek upućuju na upotrebu tradicionalnih materijala, u ovom slučaju drveta. Ovisno o stanju predmeta, poduzet će se daljnji koraci - javili su splitski konzervatori.

I dok nekima zbog ovih scena pada mrak na oči, drugima to šta svitli ovaj prozor kraj Đardina znači da turizam uspješno gura najlipši grad na svitu ka daljnjem napretku. A oni koji nemaju plan, saznaju gdje im je kraj tek kad dođu pred provaliju. A sad adio...

Masovni turizam funkcionira po principu neobuzdane konzumacije djevičanskog lokaliteta pri čemu, u pokušaju da se svake sezone sve više svidi i tako profitira, infrastruktura mutira u beživotnu amorfnu kulisu, a prirodne ljepote, devastirane eksploatacijom, postaju rugobe. Ako vam je potreban primjer, pogledajte Podstranu ili Dioklecijanovu palaču.

Masovni turizam ima rok trajanja. Jednog dana će se Splićani probuditi u svojoj kući van Splita i spoznati da je njihov lipi Split, kojeg su im puna usta, naročito u sezoni, prodan za, doduše, fine novce; baš za onu svotu koja je bila potrebna da ga se odreknu. Zapravo, sve se ovo već dogodilo, samo što se još nije oglasio alarm za buđenje pa su građani još uvijek ušuškani u mekana obećanja o lakoj lovi koju donosi turizam.

Masovni turizam je uvjerio ljude da trebaju biti sretni što oni koji su bogatiji od njih dolaze konzumirati ljepote njihovog kraja dok im lokalci služe kao posluga i pružaju ruke prema manči, a razulareni stranci se odnose prema njihovom gradu kao prema wc školjci. Turizam je preprodaja iskustva, a masovni turizam je prodaja masovnog iskustva koje, da bi se toliko puta umnožilo, mora postati plastično.

Savršeni simbol da najveća vrijednost našeg grada i razlog zbog kojeg smo, uvjetno rečeno, podareni turizmom, Dioklecijanova palača, postaje kineska imitacija same sebe smo pronašli na jednom od njenih najposjećenijih i najznačajnijih punktova - Zlatnim vratima.

Tamo je prozor, onaj koji je najbliži slavnom prolazu, zaogrnut, ni manje ni više nego - aluminijskim škurama. Sami prizor izgleda potpuno nadrealno i preporučujemo čitateljima da ga odu vidjeti uživo, prije nego ga Konzervatorski odjel, barem kako su nam najavili, ne ukloni. Inače, doznajemo da ova instalacija datira negdje iz ere Andre Krstulovića Opare, dakle par godina.

- Konzervatorski odjel u Splitu nije odobrio predmetni zahvat u neposrednoj blizini Zlatnih vrata, a vidljivo je da zahvat nije u skladu s propisanim mjerama zaštite kulturnih dobara, te se ni u kom slučaju ne možemo složiti s upotrebom neprimjerenog materijala.

Dobro je poznato da u slučaju zahvata na kulturnim dobrima iz ranijih povijesnih razdoblja, a pogotovo kada je u pitanju spomenik koji se nalazi na popisu svjetske baštine UNESCO-a, konzervatori uvijek upućuju na upotrebu tradicionalnih materijala, u ovom slučaju drveta. Ovisno o stanju predmeta, poduzet će se daljnji koraci - javili su splitski konzervatori.

I dok nekima zbog ovih scena pada mrak na oči, drugima to šta svitli ovaj prozor kraj Đardina znači da turizam uspješno gura najlipši grad na svitu ka daljnjem napretku. A oni koji nemaju plan, saznaju gdje im je kraj tek kad dođu pred provaliju. A sad adio...
