Više od 150 vreća smeća napunili su članovi Speleološkog društva Špiljar iz Splita u Jami u polju, dubokoj nekih 65 metara, na području Općine Marina.

- I to nije sve jer je u jami ostalo još otpadnog materijala za barem 55 vreća, kazuje nam Tonći Rađa iz Špiljara.

- Godinama, desetljećima se u jamu bacalo sve u svašta. Redovito naiđemo na slične prizore kada se spustimo u jame. Prije je to bio običaj bacati smeće u jame, nije bilo komunalnog odvoza, niti ikakvog mjesta za odlaganje smeća. Ovdje smo naišli na ružne prizore, bojler, neke konzerve i plastika već su pred raspadanjem što znači da su tu jako dugo.

Očistili smo jamu kompletno na dubljim dijelovima, dovukli vreće do jedne kosine koja nam je sad mali problem, pa će trebati izvlačiti na ruke sve te vreće - kazuje nam Rađa iz Špiljara koji ovaj speleološki objekt čiste u sklopu projekta "Čisto podzemlje", a u suradnji s eko udrugom "Eko selo Vrsine" dok će se odvoz smeća realizirati uz pomoć Općina Marina.

"Čisto podzemlje" je volonterska speleološka inicijativa koja se bori protiv bacanja otpada u krško podzemlje. Preko 800 zagađenih špilja i jama ugrožava našu jedinstvenu podzemnu faunu i zalihe pitke vode. Od 2015. organiziraju se akcije čišćenja speleoloških objekata i predavanja za javnost o važnosti očuvanja krša.

Špiljar im se priključio prijavivši dvije jame koje se nalaze na području Marine. Jama u polju je teško onečišćeni objekt s jezerom na dnu, a u njoj se povremeno pojavljuje vodeni tok koji otpad raznosi u dublje dijelove objekta. U blizini je i Jama na mornarevom kosovcu koja je također zagađena dok je treći prijavljeni objekt Tadića bunar-jama je u blizini Prološca, neposredno uz naselje pa ne iznenađuje da se i ona koristi kao ilegalni deponij.

- Nakon završetka ove akcije u Jami u polju i izvlačenja vreća sa smećem, Špiljar planira nastaviti speleo ronilačka istraživanja podzemnoga jezera koje se nalazi na 65 metara dubine. kada smo uklonili brojne plastične boce iz jezera, naš kolega je zaronio i otkrio da je jezero duboko barem 20 metara - kažu Špiljari.Jamu je potrebno i fizički zaštititi kako bi se zaustavilo neprestano onečišćavanje.

Spuštajući se u jame kako bi prikupili uzorke podzemne faune, speleolozi najčešće nailaze na smeće. Bude tu svega, od klaoničkog otpada, guma, čak i automobilskih karoserija, kostiju uginulih životinja, komunalnog otpada...

Lani su spašavali dva psa iz jame nedaleko od Zmijavaca i šokirali se količinom otpada koje smo tamo zatekli - naišli su na padinu od klaoničkog otpada od 20 metara visine!

- Problem je što kiša i vode cijednice ispiru otpad i otrovne tekućine, te ih odnose u još dublje slojeve tla, prema bunarima u naseljima, kao i prema izvorištima rijeka - naglašava Rađa.

Misija udruge je razvoj sela na održivi način

Udruga Zeleno ekoselo Vrsine pokrenuta je s ciljem razvoja sela na održivi način, stimulacijom poduzetništva i smanjenja nezaposlenosti, uz, naravno, zaštitu okoliša i promociju turizma.

Jedan od prvih projekata im je projekt čišćenja jama.
Naime, samo područje Vrsina i okolice bogato je jamama neprocjenjive speleološke vrijednosti, koje su, međutim, trenutačno nezaštićene i zapuštene.

Više od 150 vreća smeća napunili su članovi Speleološkog društva Špiljar iz Splita u Jami u polju, dubokoj nekih 65 metara, na području Općine Marina.

- I to nije sve jer je u jami ostalo još otpadnog materijala za barem 55 vreća, kazuje nam Tonći Rađa iz Špiljara.

- Godinama, desetljećima se u jamu bacalo sve u svašta. Redovito naiđemo na slične prizore kada se spustimo u jame. Prije je to bio običaj bacati smeće u jame, nije bilo komunalnog odvoza, niti ikakvog mjesta za odlaganje smeća. Ovdje smo naišli na ružne prizore, bojler, neke konzerve i plastika već su pred raspadanjem što znači da su tu jako dugo.

Očistili smo jamu kompletno na dubljim dijelovima, dovukli vreće do jedne kosine koja nam je sad mali problem, pa će trebati izvlačiti na ruke sve te vreće - kazuje nam Rađa iz Špiljara koji ovaj speleološki objekt čiste u sklopu projekta "Čisto podzemlje", a u suradnji s eko udrugom "Eko selo Vrsine" dok će se odvoz smeća realizirati uz pomoć Općina Marina.

"Čisto podzemlje" je volonterska speleološka inicijativa koja se bori protiv bacanja otpada u krško podzemlje. Preko 800 zagađenih špilja i jama ugrožava našu jedinstvenu podzemnu faunu i zalihe pitke vode. Od 2015. organiziraju se akcije čišćenja speleoloških objekata i predavanja za javnost o važnosti očuvanja krša.

Špiljar im se priključio prijavivši dvije jame koje se nalaze na području Marine. Jama u polju je teško onečišćeni objekt s jezerom na dnu, a u njoj se povremeno pojavljuje vodeni tok koji otpad raznosi u dublje dijelove objekta. U blizini je i Jama na mornarevom kosovcu koja je također zagađena dok je treći prijavljeni objekt Tadića bunar-jama je u blizini Prološca, neposredno uz naselje pa ne iznenađuje da se i ona koristi kao ilegalni deponij.

- Nakon završetka ove akcije u Jami u polju i izvlačenja vreća sa smećem, Špiljar planira nastaviti speleo ronilačka istraživanja podzemnoga jezera koje se nalazi na 65 metara dubine. kada smo uklonili brojne plastične boce iz jezera, naš kolega je zaronio i otkrio da je jezero duboko barem 20 metara - kažu Špiljari.Jamu je potrebno i fizički zaštititi kako bi se zaustavilo neprestano onečišćavanje.

Spuštajući se u jame kako bi prikupili uzorke podzemne faune, speleolozi najčešće nailaze na smeće. Bude tu svega, od klaoničkog otpada, guma, čak i automobilskih karoserija, kostiju uginulih životinja, komunalnog otpada...

Lani su spašavali dva psa iz jame nedaleko od Zmijavaca i šokirali se količinom otpada koje smo tamo zatekli - naišli su na padinu od klaoničkog otpada od 20 metara visine!

- Problem je što kiša i vode cijednice ispiru otpad i otrovne tekućine, te ih odnose u još dublje slojeve tla, prema bunarima u naseljima, kao i prema izvorištima rijeka - naglašava Rađa.

Misija udruge je razvoj sela na održivi način

Udruga Zeleno ekoselo Vrsine pokrenuta je s ciljem razvoja sela na održivi način, stimulacijom poduzetništva i smanjenja nezaposlenosti, uz, naravno, zaštitu okoliša i promociju turizma.

Jedan od prvih projekata im je projekt čišćenja jama.
Naime, samo područje Vrsina i okolice bogato je jamama neprocjenjive speleološke vrijednosti, koje su, međutim, trenutačno nezaštićene i zapuštene.
