Predsjednik Skupštine Splitsko-dalmatinske županije Mate Šimundić je jučer na svom Facebook profilu podržao inicijativu 40 dana za život, međunarodnu organizaciju protiv pobačaja čiji pripadnici, pred Uskrs, mole ispred bolnica kako bi što manje žena abortiralo. Njegovu objavu prenosimo u cijelosti:

"Bebu u utrobi majke, malo dijete još nerođeno i sasvim ovisno o majci, svatko normalan želi zaštititi. Ljudima je prirodno ljubiti i brinuti se za svoje potomke, osobito one najosjetljivije. Ljubav uključuje molitvu, uključuje dobre želje, dobre riječi i dobra djela. Stoga su akcije "40 dana za život" i "Hod za život" hvalevrijedne i zaslužuju podršku! Sudjelovao sam i sudjelovat ću i u akciji "40 dana za život" i u "Hodu za život". Dobri ljudi, imate moju potporu", napisao je član Domovinskog pokreta.

Na napisano je potom reagirala Eleonora Mandić, potpredsjednica splitskog SDP-a, poslavši e-mail u redakciju Slobodne Dalmacije. Ispod naslova "Tipično desničarsko licemjerje Mate Šimundića – kod cijepljenja je za slobodu izbora a kod pobačaja protiv!" je napisala:

"Mate Šimundić, predsjednik Županijske skupštine i sudionik skupa "Krik za slobodu", protivnik "eksperimentalnih" cjepiva i borac za slobodu izbora podržao je inicijativu „40 dana za život“. Tipično desničarsko licemjerje - kod cijepljenja su za slobodu izbora a kod pobačaja protiv! Baš su političari s desnog spektra u doba pandemije najglasniji protivnici cijepljenja i glasno propagiraju slobodu izbora, a upravo su oni ti koji se najžešće protive pravu žene da slobodno i bez pritiska odlučuje po pitanju pobačaja. Najglasniji borci za vlastite slobode, u pravilu oni s političke konzervativne i klerikalne desnice, ujedno su i najzagriženiji osporavatelji tuđih sloboda.

Kao socijaldemokratkinja i žena smatram da moliteljima nije mjesto unutar bolnica i drugih zdravstvenih ustanova, zbog toga što isti psihički zlostavljaju žene koje se odlučuju na pobačaj vršeći na njih pritisak. Molitelji ispred bolnica pokušavaju ugroziti zakonom zajamčene ljudske slobode, prava žena na odlučivanje o vlastitom tijelu i zlostavljaju jednu od najranjivijih skupina u društvu.

Već godinama se u našem gradu, ali i cijeloj zemlji vode žustre rasprave kada molitelji stanu ispred bolnica. Zato je jedna, većinski katolička država, Španjolska u Donjem domu svog parlamenta izglasala zakon koji se tiče molitelja, tj. onih koji tobože mole unutar ili neposredno ispred bolnica a ustvari psihički maltretiraju žene koje se odlučuju na pobačaj. Nakon što zakon i službeno bude usvojen u Gornjem domu, osobe koje ispred bolnica budu na ovakav način djelovale moći će biti osuđene na zatvorsku kaznu, a pritužbe žena koja će u toj situaciji biti žrtve neće ni biti potrebne, već će policija moći postupati po službenoj dužnosti. Na žalost, mi smo svjetlosnim godinama daleko od ovakvog pristupa", poručila je Mandić.

Predsjednik Skupštine Splitsko-dalmatinske županije Mate Šimundić je jučer na svom Facebook profilu podržao inicijativu 40 dana za život, međunarodnu organizaciju protiv pobačaja čiji pripadnici, pred Uskrs, mole ispred bolnica kako bi što manje žena abortiralo. Njegovu objavu prenosimo u cijelosti:

"Bebu u utrobi majke, malo dijete još nerođeno i sasvim ovisno o majci, svatko normalan želi zaštititi. Ljudima je prirodno ljubiti i brinuti se za svoje potomke, osobito one najosjetljivije. Ljubav uključuje molitvu, uključuje dobre želje, dobre riječi i dobra djela. Stoga su akcije "40 dana za život" i "Hod za život" hvalevrijedne i zaslužuju podršku! Sudjelovao sam i sudjelovat ću i u akciji "40 dana za život" i u "Hodu za život". Dobri ljudi, imate moju potporu", napisao je član Domovinskog pokreta.

Na napisano je potom reagirala Eleonora Mandić, potpredsjednica splitskog SDP-a, poslavši e-mail u redakciju Slobodne Dalmacije. Ispod naslova "Tipično desničarsko licemjerje Mate Šimundića – kod cijepljenja je za slobodu izbora a kod pobačaja protiv!" je napisala:

"Mate Šimundić, predsjednik Županijske skupštine i sudionik skupa "Krik za slobodu", protivnik "eksperimentalnih" cjepiva i borac za slobodu izbora podržao je inicijativu „40 dana za život“. Tipično desničarsko licemjerje - kod cijepljenja su za slobodu izbora a kod pobačaja protiv! Baš su političari s desnog spektra u doba pandemije najglasniji protivnici cijepljenja i glasno propagiraju slobodu izbora, a upravo su oni ti koji se najžešće protive pravu žene da slobodno i bez pritiska odlučuje po pitanju pobačaja. Najglasniji borci za vlastite slobode, u pravilu oni s političke konzervativne i klerikalne desnice, ujedno su i najzagriženiji osporavatelji tuđih sloboda.

Kao socijaldemokratkinja i žena smatram da moliteljima nije mjesto unutar bolnica i drugih zdravstvenih ustanova, zbog toga što isti psihički zlostavljaju žene koje se odlučuju na pobačaj vršeći na njih pritisak. Molitelji ispred bolnica pokušavaju ugroziti zakonom zajamčene ljudske slobode, prava žena na odlučivanje o vlastitom tijelu i zlostavljaju jednu od najranjivijih skupina u društvu.

Već godinama se u našem gradu, ali i cijeloj zemlji vode žustre rasprave kada molitelji stanu ispred bolnica. Zato je jedna, većinski katolička država, Španjolska u Donjem domu svog parlamenta izglasala zakon koji se tiče molitelja, tj. onih koji tobože mole unutar ili neposredno ispred bolnica a ustvari psihički maltretiraju žene koje se odlučuju na pobačaj. Nakon što zakon i službeno bude usvojen u Gornjem domu, osobe koje ispred bolnica budu na ovakav način djelovale moći će biti osuđene na zatvorsku kaznu, a pritužbe žena koja će u toj situaciji biti žrtve neće ni biti potrebne, već će policija moći postupati po službenoj dužnosti. Na žalost, mi smo svjetlosnim godinama daleko od ovakvog pristupa", poručila je Mandić.

Predsjednik Skupštine Splitsko-dalmatinske županije Mate Šimundić je jučer na svom Facebook profilu podržao inicijativu 40 dana za život, međunarodnu organizaciju protiv pobačaja čiji pripadnici, pred Uskrs, mole ispred bolnica kako bi što manje žena abortiralo. Njegovu objavu prenosimo u cijelosti:
