U prizemlju centralne zgrade KBC-a Split na Firulama danas je otvorena Galerija Zoja Dumengjić. Galerija je nazvana po arhitektici koja je projektirala bolnički sklop na Firulama.
Riječ je o zajedničkom projektu Hrvatske udruge likovnih umjetnika Split i Kliničkog bolničkog centra Split, a sama ideja je proizašla iz najesen održanog 41. Splitskog salona naziva „Ne posve izgubljeni jedni za druge“, kojeg je kurirala Ivana Meštrov u suradnji s Anom Janevski.
Prva izložba jest "Retropolis", projekt Udruge za interdisciplinarna i interkulutiralna istraživanja. U ovom izdanju predstavljaju vizualna antropologinja i etnologinja Sonja Leboš te vizualne umjetnice Stella Leboš i Luana Lojić. „Retropolis“ je posvećen znamenitoj arhitektici i projektantici sklopa splitske opće bolnice Firule iz 1951. godine.

- Galerija će biti modularna i fluidna, bez fiksne lokacije unutar Kliničko bolničkog centra, prilagodljiva naravi i medijskoj raznovrsnosti suvremene umjetnosti. No, projekt Galerije Zoja Dumengjić jest fiksan u svojoj namjeri dugog trajanja. Ovakve pozitivne suradnje su zaista rijetke, čak i u svijetu, a kao umjetnike nas posebno vesele- pojasnio je Vice Tomasović, predsjednik HULU Split.
Zoja Dumengjić, rođena je 1904., a preminula 2000. godine. Tijekom 1930-ih je radila kao projektantica u Higijenskom zavodu i Školi narodnog zdravlja, gdje se i specijalizirala za objekte zdravstvene namjene, pri čemu su je inspirirali zdravstveni objekti znamenitog finskog arhitekta Alvara Aalta.
Rad Zoje Dumengjić nije ostao potpuno nevaloriziran za vrijeme njenog dugog i plodnog života: 1979. godine dobila je nagradu “Viktor Kovačić” za životno djelo, a 1984. godine primila je Povelju Opće bolnice Split za izvanredan doprinos razvoju bolnice na Firulama.

Prisutnost umjetničkih radova inspiriranih opusom Zoje Dumengjić na 41. Splitskom salonu ponovo ukazuje na značaj arhitektonskog oblikovanja za zdravlje dostupno svima i stoji u samo ideji uspostave Galerije.
- Vjerujem da će Galerija Zoja Dumengjić u suradnji s HULU Split u sklopu KBC-a djelovati kreativno, dugo i uspješno, da će pritom kontinuirano osnaživati viziju Zoje Dumengjić o arhitekturi i vizualnoj umjetnosti u službi zdravlja, ali i približiti pacijentima i zdravstvenom osoblju lik i djelo arhitektice koja je oblikovala splitsku bolnicu. Posebno mi je drago što se Galerija otvara uoči Dana KBC Split, kojim se obilježava spajanje Firula, Križina i Toplica u zajedničku ustanovu“, istaknuo je dr. Julije Meštrović, ravnatelj KBC Split.

U prizemlju centralne zgrade KBC-a Split na Firulama danas je otvorena Galerija Zoja Dumengjić. Galerija je nazvana po arhitektici koja je projektirala bolnički sklop na Firulama.
Riječ je o zajedničkom projektu Hrvatske udruge likovnih umjetnika Split i Kliničkog bolničkog centra Split, a sama ideja je proizašla iz najesen održanog 41. Splitskog salona naziva „Ne posve izgubljeni jedni za druge“, kojeg je kurirala Ivana Meštrov u suradnji s Anom Janevski.
Prva izložba jest "Retropolis", projekt Udruge za interdisciplinarna i interkulutiralna istraživanja. U ovom izdanju predstavljaju vizualna antropologinja i etnologinja Sonja Leboš te vizualne umjetnice Stella Leboš i Luana Lojić. „Retropolis“ je posvećen znamenitoj arhitektici i projektantici sklopa splitske opće bolnice Firule iz 1951. godine.

- Galerija će biti modularna i fluidna, bez fiksne lokacije unutar Kliničko bolničkog centra, prilagodljiva naravi i medijskoj raznovrsnosti suvremene umjetnosti. No, projekt Galerije Zoja Dumengjić jest fiksan u svojoj namjeri dugog trajanja. Ovakve pozitivne suradnje su zaista rijetke, čak i u svijetu, a kao umjetnike nas posebno vesele- pojasnio je Vice Tomasović, predsjednik HULU Split.
Zoja Dumengjić, rođena je 1904., a preminula 2000. godine. Tijekom 1930-ih je radila kao projektantica u Higijenskom zavodu i Školi narodnog zdravlja, gdje se i specijalizirala za objekte zdravstvene namjene, pri čemu su je inspirirali zdravstveni objekti znamenitog finskog arhitekta Alvara Aalta.
Rad Zoje Dumengjić nije ostao potpuno nevaloriziran za vrijeme njenog dugog i plodnog života: 1979. godine dobila je nagradu “Viktor Kovačić” za životno djelo, a 1984. godine primila je Povelju Opće bolnice Split za izvanredan doprinos razvoju bolnice na Firulama.

Prisutnost umjetničkih radova inspiriranih opusom Zoje Dumengjić na 41. Splitskom salonu ponovo ukazuje na značaj arhitektonskog oblikovanja za zdravlje dostupno svima i stoji u samo ideji uspostave Galerije.
- Vjerujem da će Galerija Zoja Dumengjić u suradnji s HULU Split u sklopu KBC-a djelovati kreativno, dugo i uspješno, da će pritom kontinuirano osnaživati viziju Zoje Dumengjić o arhitekturi i vizualnoj umjetnosti u službi zdravlja, ali i približiti pacijentima i zdravstvenom osoblju lik i djelo arhitektice koja je oblikovala splitsku bolnicu. Posebno mi je drago što se Galerija otvara uoči Dana KBC Split, kojim se obilježava spajanje Firula, Križina i Toplica u zajedničku ustanovu“, istaknuo je dr. Julije Meštrović, ravnatelj KBC Split.
