Projekt obnove Monumentalne fontane na Rivi je ponovno naišao na otpor splitskih konzervatora. Odbili su izdati posebne uvjete neophodne za izradu glavnog projekta.
Podsjetimo, kroz posljednjih četrdesetak godina pokretale su se brojne inicijative za rekonstrukciju fontane srušene 1947. godine, no ništa se konkretno nije pomaknulo do 2016. kada je Gradsko vijeće dalo zeleno svjetlo za faksimilnu obnovu. Ovo pitanje je podijelilo struku i građane, no gradska vlast nije odustajala; u posljednje tri godine je za ovu svrhu u proračunu ostavljeno ukupno 7,75 milijuna kuna, krajem 2020. je odabran arhitektonski ured Arching-Studio za izradu glavnog projekta, no isti ne može biti dovršen bez posebnih uvjeta splitskih konzervatora.
Marijan Čipčić, koordinator obnove Monumentalne fontane i predsjednik Društva prijatelja kulturne baštine potvrdio je ovu vijest.
- Ovaj potez Konzervatorskog odjela u Splitu nas je neugodno iznenadio. Kao razlog navode da nema dovoljno elemenata za obnovu, što je u potpunoj suprotnosti s Konzervatorskim elaboratom iz 2019. godine koji su izradili cijenjeni stručnjaci, akademik Nenad Cambi, arhitektica Katja Marasović i povjesničarka umjetnosti Ivana Prijatelj Pavičić - kaže Čipčić.

Dodaje da se Konzervatorski ured složio s obnovom Hrvatskog doma na temelju fotodokumentacije, a kod fontane je to odjednom problem.
- Postoji opsežna fotodokumentacija fontane s prikazima raznih skulpturalnih detalja. Uz to, sačuvano je desetak kamenih ulomaka skulptura koje mogu poslužiti pri budućoj obnovi. U Državnom arhivu su sačuvane i skice s mjerama svih elemenata fontane koje je izradio arhitekt Milorad Družeić prije njenog rušenja. Prije nekoliko godina je akademski kipar Robert Jozić izradio gipsani odljev jedne skulpture u omjeru 1/1, što je još jedan dokaz da je obnova itekako moguća.
Ovo rješenje Konzervatorskog odjela je iznenađujuće i zbog toga što se u aktualnoj konzervatorskoj podlozi Prostornog i generalnog urbanističkog plana Grada Splita navodi kako je arhitektonsko-urbanistička cjelina koja uključuje Prokurative, palaču Dešković i Splitsku fontanu najvrjedniji kompleks 19. stoljeća u Splitu i jedno od najvrjednijih ostvarenja neostila u Hrvatskoj - napominje Čipčić.

Na ovo rješenje će biti uložena žalba, kaže, a i ubuduće će se koristiti sve dostupne pravne mogućnosti da se projekt nastavi.
- Živimo i dalje u nadi da će splitska fontana biti obnovljena u dogledno vrijeme, na radost Splićanki i Splićana koji su se tijekom više anketa i peticija velikom većinom izjasnili za njezinu obnovu - zaključuje.

Projekt obnove Monumentalne fontane na Rivi je ponovno naišao na otpor splitskih konzervatora. Odbili su izdati posebne uvjete neophodne za izradu glavnog projekta.
Podsjetimo, kroz posljednjih četrdesetak godina pokretale su se brojne inicijative za rekonstrukciju fontane srušene 1947. godine, no ništa se konkretno nije pomaknulo do 2016. kada je Gradsko vijeće dalo zeleno svjetlo za faksimilnu obnovu. Ovo pitanje je podijelilo struku i građane, no gradska vlast nije odustajala; u posljednje tri godine je za ovu svrhu u proračunu ostavljeno ukupno 7,75 milijuna kuna, krajem 2020. je odabran arhitektonski ured Arching-Studio za izradu glavnog projekta, no isti ne može biti dovršen bez posebnih uvjeta splitskih konzervatora.
Marijan Čipčić, koordinator obnove Monumentalne fontane i predsjednik Društva prijatelja kulturne baštine potvrdio je ovu vijest.
- Ovaj potez Konzervatorskog odjela u Splitu nas je neugodno iznenadio. Kao razlog navode da nema dovoljno elemenata za obnovu, što je u potpunoj suprotnosti s Konzervatorskim elaboratom iz 2019. godine koji su izradili cijenjeni stručnjaci, akademik Nenad Cambi, arhitektica Katja Marasović i povjesničarka umjetnosti Ivana Prijatelj Pavičić - kaže Čipčić.

Dodaje da se Konzervatorski ured složio s obnovom Hrvatskog doma na temelju fotodokumentacije, a kod fontane je to odjednom problem.
- Postoji opsežna fotodokumentacija fontane s prikazima raznih skulpturalnih detalja. Uz to, sačuvano je desetak kamenih ulomaka skulptura koje mogu poslužiti pri budućoj obnovi. U Državnom arhivu su sačuvane i skice s mjerama svih elemenata fontane koje je izradio arhitekt Milorad Družeić prije njenog rušenja. Prije nekoliko godina je akademski kipar Robert Jozić izradio gipsani odljev jedne skulpture u omjeru 1/1, što je još jedan dokaz da je obnova itekako moguća.
Ovo rješenje Konzervatorskog odjela je iznenađujuće i zbog toga što se u aktualnoj konzervatorskoj podlozi Prostornog i generalnog urbanističkog plana Grada Splita navodi kako je arhitektonsko-urbanistička cjelina koja uključuje Prokurative, palaču Dešković i Splitsku fontanu najvrjedniji kompleks 19. stoljeća u Splitu i jedno od najvrjednijih ostvarenja neostila u Hrvatskoj - napominje Čipčić.
