Volonteri okupljeni oko projekta projekta ‘Čist i uređen Marjan‘ otkrila je na Marjanu još jednu kamenu pojatu, potpuno skrivenu od očiju i najupućenijih ljubitelja splitske park šume. Pojata je duga šest, široka četiri i visoka tri metra. U njenoj unutrašnjosti, pod naslagom raslinja i kamenja, volonteri su otkrili i komin s nekoliko starinskih kuharskih predmeta. Prema prvim dojmovima, čini se da je riječ o vjerojatno prvoj pojati koja je izgrađena na Marjanu budući da su se ostale gradile u smjeru prema punti Marjana.

Uz pojatu, u kišom izdubljenu jamu unutar velike stijene, nalazi se još jedan mali dragulj - prirodno pojilište za ptice i životinje. U njoj se nakupljala kišnica koju su prvenstveno koristile ptice, ali i divlje i domaće životinje, koze i magarad, varoških težaka. To prirodno pojilište je godinama bilo potpuno prekriveno dračavim raslinjem, a time i nevidljivo pticama koje mu ni fizički nisu mogle pristupiti. Nažalost, smatra se da na Marjanu ima veliki broj pojilišta koja nisu pristupačna pticama zbog pretjerane zapuštenosti i neodržavanja.

Istina, jedan od najljepših i najprepoznativljijih simbola Splita, a to je Marjan, ima puno povijesnih i arheoloških spomenika od kojih su najpoznatije brojne crkve, posebno crkvica svetog Jere s ermitažom. No, nakon crkava na Marjanu posebnu povijesnu i građevinsku baštinu čine kamene kućice, pojate, koje su Splićani gradili naslijeđenom tehnikom suhozida od rasutog kamenja. Služile su kao zaklon od nevremena, kao skladišta za alat i eventualno čak i kao prenoćište. Vjerojatno ih ima ukupno desetak, a Grad je uz pomoć europskih fondova uredio i obnovio sedam pojata kako bi građani i turisti mogli uživati u njihovoj originalnoj arhitekturi. No najveću i najbližu pojatu, oko 150 metara od Špinutskih vrata i svega 20-ak metara od Tartaljinog šetališta, međutim, nitko u gradu do sada nije uredio. Ona je toliko obrasla u divlje raslinje da je ni revni posjetitelji Marjana ne mogu vidjeti ni posjetiti iz bilo kojeg smjera.

Pojilište za ptice u prirodnoj stijeni/PRIVATNI ALBUM

Preko najvišeg, istočnog, zida pojate pala je i leži velika i debela slomljena grana masline i tako stoji već godinama, a unutrašnjost pojate i okoliš potpuno su zanemareni i neodržavani. Volonteri namjerno nisu dirali granu da se tijekom uklanjanja ne bi urušio najviši zid pojate.

Nekolicina volontera koja je slučajno pronašla još jednu pojatu morala se probijati kroz potpuno zapušteno raslinje da joj uopće pristupe. Oni povremeno dolaze na Marjan kako bi ga očistili i kao preventivu od požara, a upravo oni održavaju i pojilišta da bi bila dostupna pticama jer na Marjanu više nema divljih životinja.

Tko želi vidjeti novootkrivenu pojatu, savjetuju volonteri, neka se pripreme na probijanje probijanje kroz teško prohodni gustiš koji okružuje pojatu i pojilište.

SUHOZID

Zaštićena baština

Suhozid je građevina od prirodnog kamena bez korištenja vezivnog materijala. Ova drevna vještina gradnje tipična je Dalmaciju i Istru. Ministarstvo kulture je 2013. godine i zakonski zaštitilo suhozid i tehniku gradnje suhozida. Dodatno, suhozid je svrstan u UNESCO-vu nematerijalnu svjetsku baštinu 2018. godine, a zemlje čiji su suhozidi u toj kategoriji su Španjolska, Cipar, Grčka, Italija, Hrvatska, Slovenija, Francuska i Švicarska.

Volonteri okupljeni oko projekta projekta ‘Čist i uređen Marjan‘ otkrila je na Marjanu još jednu kamenu pojatu, potpuno skrivenu od očiju i najupućenijih ljubitelja splitske park šume. Pojata je duga šest, široka četiri i visoka tri metra. U njenoj unutrašnjosti, pod naslagom raslinja i kamenja, volonteri su otkrili i komin s nekoliko starinskih kuharskih predmeta. Prema prvim dojmovima, čini se da je riječ o vjerojatno prvoj pojati koja je izgrađena na Marjanu budući da su se ostale gradile u smjeru prema punti Marjana.

Uz pojatu, u kišom izdubljenu jamu unutar velike stijene, nalazi se još jedan mali dragulj - prirodno pojilište za ptice i životinje. U njoj se nakupljala kišnica koju su prvenstveno koristile ptice, ali i divlje i domaće životinje, koze i magarad, varoških težaka. To prirodno pojilište je godinama bilo potpuno prekriveno dračavim raslinjem, a time i nevidljivo pticama koje mu ni fizički nisu mogle pristupiti. Nažalost, smatra se da na Marjanu ima veliki broj pojilišta koja nisu pristupačna pticama zbog pretjerane zapuštenosti i neodržavanja.

Istina, jedan od najljepših i najprepoznativljijih simbola Splita, a to je Marjan, ima puno povijesnih i arheoloških spomenika od kojih su najpoznatije brojne crkve, posebno crkvica svetog Jere s ermitažom. No, nakon crkava na Marjanu posebnu povijesnu i građevinsku baštinu čine kamene kućice, pojate, koje su Splićani gradili naslijeđenom tehnikom suhozida od rasutog kamenja. Služile su kao zaklon od nevremena, kao skladišta za alat i eventualno čak i kao prenoćište. Vjerojatno ih ima ukupno desetak, a Grad je uz pomoć europskih fondova uredio i obnovio sedam pojata kako bi građani i turisti mogli uživati u njihovoj originalnoj arhitekturi. No najveću i najbližu pojatu, oko 150 metara od Špinutskih vrata i svega 20-ak metara od Tartaljinog šetališta, međutim, nitko u gradu do sada nije uredio. Ona je toliko obrasla u divlje raslinje da je ni revni posjetitelji Marjana ne mogu vidjeti ni posjetiti iz bilo kojeg smjera.

Preko najvišeg, istočnog, zida pojate pala je i leži velika i debela slomljena grana masline i tako stoji već godinama, a unutrašnjost pojate i okoliš potpuno su zanemareni i neodržavani. Volonteri namjerno nisu dirali granu da se tijekom uklanjanja ne bi urušio najviši zid pojate.

Nekolicina volontera koja je slučajno pronašla još jednu pojatu morala se probijati kroz potpuno zapušteno raslinje da joj uopće pristupe. Oni povremeno dolaze na Marjan kako bi ga očistili i kao preventivu od požara, a upravo oni održavaju i pojilišta da bi bila dostupna pticama jer na Marjanu više nema divljih životinja.

Tko želi vidjeti novootkrivenu pojatu, savjetuju volonteri, neka se pripreme na probijanje probijanje kroz teško prohodni gustiš koji okružuje pojatu i pojilište.

SUHOZID

Zaštićena baština

Suhozid je građevina od prirodnog kamena bez korištenja vezivnog materijala. Ova drevna vještina gradnje tipična je Dalmaciju i Istru. Ministarstvo kulture je 2013. godine i zakonski zaštitilo suhozid i tehniku gradnje suhozida. Dodatno, suhozid je svrstan u UNESCO-vu nematerijalnu svjetsku baštinu 2018. godine, a zemlje čiji su suhozidi u toj kategoriji su Španjolska, Cipar, Grčka, Italija, Hrvatska, Slovenija, Francuska i Švicarska.
