- Živim na visokoj nozi, ali nisam bogataš - dobacio nam je šalu poznati alpinist Ivica Matković nakon što se spustio s 40 metara visokog jarbola jedrenjaka “Aurum Sky”, nove turističke uzdanice u privatnom vlasništvu, privezane uz obalu vranjičkog škvera.

Matkoviću su takvi poslovi dio svakodnevice jer se dugi niz godina bavi visinskim radovima, pa se odazove tamo gdje su potrebne alpinističke vještine.

- Zajedno s kolegom Tonijem Pranićem postavljali smo konope i sajle na jarbol broda kako bismo ga fiksirali. Je li bilo teško? Pa, svaki ovakav zadatak nosi svoju težinu i zahtjevnost, ali već imamo dovoljno iskustva da znamo što radimo - kaže nam jedan od začetnika slobodnog penjanja u Hrvatskoj, čovjek kojeg javnost najviše poznaje jer je više od dva desetljeća uzastopce postavljao zastavu na vrh zvonika svetog Duje na blagdan zaštitnika našega grada.

Prije tri godine upozorio je nadležne na loše stanje metalnog križa na kampanelu koji se ljuljao na dodir, te ga je učvrstio kako se ne bi dogodilo nešto tragično za prolaznike.

Posljednje dvije godine nije se penjao na svečev zvonik koji još uvijek čeka konzervatorsku sanaciju, baš kao što kraj sanacije čekaju i omiške stijene na čije je moguće odronjavanje taj iskusni alpinist davno upozoravao ukazujući na zub vremena i klimatske promjene koje mogu ugroziti stanovnike grada ispod Mirabele.

- Naravno da upozorim na nešto što ne valja, ali kod nas se stvari, nažalost, sporo rješavaju, a i ja sam samo malen čovjek pa me se ne doživljava. S druge strane, imam dosta posla s visinskim radovima. Zovu me za kampanele, reklame i zgrade, a uskoro ću se spuštati u Husinu jamu na Vagnju.

- Alpinist sam, ali i speleolog, pa su me franjevci angažirali da snimim dubinu jame u koju su ubačene ubijene žrtve tijekom Drugoga svjetskog rata i nakon njega. Jama je duboka 170 metara, a čujem da ima i jako puno smeća u njoj, pa će to biti pravi izazov. No, meni je sigurnost na prvome mjestu, tako da ću poduzeti sve što treba kako bih obavio zadatak i sebe sačuvao - otkriva nam Matković.

- Živim na visokoj nozi, ali nisam bogataš - dobacio nam je šalu poznati alpinist Ivica Matković nakon što se spustio s 40 metara visokog jarbola jedrenjaka “Aurum Sky”, nove turističke uzdanice u privatnom vlasništvu, privezane uz obalu vranjičkog škvera.

Matkoviću su takvi poslovi dio svakodnevice jer se dugi niz godina bavi visinskim radovima, pa se odazove tamo gdje su potrebne alpinističke vještine.

- Zajedno s kolegom Tonijem Pranićem postavljali smo konope i sajle na jarbol broda kako bismo ga fiksirali. Je li bilo teško? Pa, svaki ovakav zadatak nosi svoju težinu i zahtjevnost, ali već imamo dovoljno iskustva da znamo što radimo - kaže nam jedan od začetnika slobodnog penjanja u Hrvatskoj, čovjek kojeg javnost najviše poznaje jer je više od dva desetljeća uzastopce postavljao zastavu na vrh zvonika svetog Duje na blagdan zaštitnika našega grada.

Prije tri godine upozorio je nadležne na loše stanje metalnog križa na kampanelu koji se ljuljao na dodir, te ga je učvrstio kako se ne bi dogodilo nešto tragično za prolaznike.

Posljednje dvije godine nije se penjao na svečev zvonik koji još uvijek čeka konzervatorsku sanaciju, baš kao što kraj sanacije čekaju i omiške stijene na čije je moguće odronjavanje taj iskusni alpinist davno upozoravao ukazujući na zub vremena i klimatske promjene koje mogu ugroziti stanovnike grada ispod Mirabele.

- Naravno da upozorim na nešto što ne valja, ali kod nas se stvari, nažalost, sporo rješavaju, a i ja sam samo malen čovjek pa me se ne doživljava. S druge strane, imam dosta posla s visinskim radovima. Zovu me za kampanele, reklame i zgrade, a uskoro ću se spuštati u Husinu jamu na Vagnju.

- Alpinist sam, ali i speleolog, pa su me franjevci angažirali da snimim dubinu jame u koju su ubačene ubijene žrtve tijekom Drugoga svjetskog rata i nakon njega. Jama je duboka 170 metara, a čujem da ima i jako puno smeća u njoj, pa će to biti pravi izazov. No, meni je sigurnost na prvome mjestu, tako da ću poduzeti sve što treba kako bih obavio zadatak i sebe sačuvao - otkriva nam Matković.

- Živim na visokoj nozi, ali nisam bogataš - dobacio nam je šalu poznati alpinist Ivica Matković nakon što se spustio s 40 metara visokog jarbola jedrenjaka “Aurum Sky”, nove turističke uzdanice u privatnom vlasništvu, privezane uz obalu vranjičkog škvera.

Matkoviću su takvi poslovi dio svakodnevice jer se dugi niz godina bavi visinskim radovima, pa se odazove tamo gdje su potrebne alpinističke vještine.

- Zajedno s kolegom Tonijem Pranićem postavljali smo konope i sajle na jarbol broda kako bismo ga fiksirali. Je li bilo teško? Pa, svaki ovakav zadatak nosi svoju težinu i zahtjevnost, ali već imamo dovoljno iskustva da znamo što radimo - kaže nam jedan od začetnika slobodnog penjanja u Hrvatskoj, čovjek kojeg javnost najviše poznaje jer je više od dva desetljeća uzastopc...
