Stanovnici Trstenika, predvođeni Damirom Barbirom (SDP), predsjednikom kotara, očekuju da će se do kraja godine, unatoč proračunskom rebalansu, krenuti s projektom izgradnje prijeko potrebnog i dugo iščekivanog pothodnika u Ulici moliških Hrvata.
Riječ je o zapuštenom pothodniku čija bi obnova, prema predviđenom projektu, uvelike olakšala svakodnevni odlazak djece u školu, crkvu, bolnicu... Dogovor s Gradom postignut je još lani, a projekt vrijedan pola milijuna kuna koji bi trebao osigurati siguran put od pothodnika pa sve do mora već je unutar proračuna. Građani se nadaju kako im kriza izazvana koronavirusom neće pomrsiti račune.
– Ulica moliških Hrvata prometno je prekapacitirana te je u vrijeme odlaska na posao, što se poklapa s odlaskom djece u školu, stanje neodrživo, a iznimno opasno za najmlađe. Najugroženija su djeca iz Papandopulove ulice, osobito iz njezina gornjeg dijela, koja su primorana svakodnevno više puta prelaziti tu cestu.
Djeca ni na tom putu nemaju osiguranu pješačku stazu te moraju pješačiti duž cijelog parkirališta, prelaziti pješački prijelaz, a zatim čak i hodati dijelom ceste koja je iznimno nepregledna, a samim time i riskantna te opasna. Izgradnja pothodnika uvelike bi promijenila tu situaciju jer bi njegovim korištenjem djeca izbjegla pješački prijelaz, ali i hodanje nepreglednom cestom, što bi im jamčilo sigurnost. Nakon dogovora s Banovinom, poduzeli smo i ostvarili sve potrebne predradnje kako bi se krenulo u izradu i realizaciju – tvrdi Damir Barbir, napominjući kako je sinergija građana na Trsteniku na visokoj razini.
Da je riječ o uistinu važnom projektu, potvrđuje i pismo potpore koje potpisuje Antonela Petrić, ravnateljica OŠ Trstenik, to više što će se iz pothodnika pješačkom stazom moći ići ravno do škole, te u konačnici sve do Bračke ulice. Projekt apsolutno podržava i don Ivan Simunić, župnik župe sv. Ivana Krstitelja na Trsteniku.
– Poznato je da veliki broj djece iz Papandopulove ulice, posebno od brojeva 15 naviše, zatim Moliških Hrvata 7 i Velebitske 108 i 110, kod odlaska u školu trebaju prelaziti vrlo frekventnu Ulicu moliških Hrvata kod ulaza u crkveno dvorište. Neka djeca znaju dva-tri puta dnevno ići do škole, a tu je i odlazak na župni vjeronauk i mise. Pokraj ulaza u crkveno dvorište nalazi se pothodnik, u kojem se skuplja smeće, raste drača i trava, nerijetko se vide zmije i miševi.
Pokraj zatrpanog pothodnika je i izlaz i ulaz na parkiralište, skretanje za ulicu Križine, ulaz prema garažama Borisa Papandopula, a malo niže je i skretanje za parkiralište u Ulici Dinka Šimunovića. Ne radi se samo o djeci, nego i o odraslima koji idu u dućan, banku, poštu, ljekarnu. Pothodnik bi uvelike pomogao sigurnosti kretanja građana našega kotara i župe u oba pravca. Tu se radi i o vjernicima koji dnevno dolaze na misu ili se pomoliti kod Lurdske spilje – smatra don Ivan.
Ne pomrsi li korona račune projekt obnove pothodnika, što je samo prvi dio sređivanja sigurnog puta do mora, njegova realizacija bi trebala započeti do kraja ove godine.

Stanovnici Trstenika, predvođeni Damirom Barbirom (SDP), predsjednikom kotara, očekuju da će se do kraja godine, unatoč proračunskom rebalansu, krenuti s projektom izgradnje prijeko potrebnog i dugo iščekivanog pothodnika u Ulici moliških Hrvata.
Riječ je o zapuštenom pothodniku čija bi obnova, prema predviđenom projektu, uvelike olakšala svakodnevni odlazak djece u školu, crkvu, bolnicu... Dogovor s Gradom postignut je još lani, a projekt vrijedan pola milijuna kuna koji bi trebao osigurati siguran put od pothodnika pa sve do mora već je unutar proračuna. Građani se nadaju kako im kriza izazvana koronavirusom neće pomrsiti račune.
– Ulica moliških Hrvata prometno je prekapacitirana te je u vrijeme odlaska na posao, što se poklapa s odlaskom djece u školu, stanje neodrživo, a iznimno opasno za najmlađe. Najugroženija su djeca iz Papandopulove ulice, osobito iz njezina gornjeg dijela, koja su primorana svakodnevno više puta prelaziti tu cestu.
Djeca ni na tom putu nemaju osiguranu pješačku stazu te moraju pješačiti duž cijelog parkirališta, prelaziti pješački prijelaz, a zatim čak i hodati dijelom ceste koja je iznimno nepregledna, a samim time i riskantna te opasna. Izgradnja pothodnika uvelike bi promijenila tu situaciju jer bi njegovim korištenjem djeca izbjegla pješački prijelaz, ali i hodanje nepreglednom cestom, što bi im jamčilo sigurnost. Nakon dogovora s Banovinom, poduzeli smo i ostvarili sve potrebne predradnje kako bi se krenulo u izradu i realizaciju – tvrdi Damir Barbir, napominjući kako je sinergija građana na Trsteniku na visokoj razini.
Da je riječ o uistinu važnom projektu, potvrđuje i pismo potpore koje potpisuje Antonela Petrić, ravnateljica OŠ Trstenik, to više što će se iz pothodnika pješačkom stazom moći ići ravno do škole, te u konačnici sve do Bračke ulice. Projekt apsolutno podržava i don Ivan Simunić, župnik župe sv. Ivana Krstitelja na Trsteniku.
– Poznato je da veliki broj djece iz Papandopulove ulice, posebno od brojeva 15 naviše, zatim Moliških Hrvata 7 i Velebitske 108 i 110, kod odlaska u školu trebaju prelaziti vrlo frekventnu Ulicu moliških Hrvata kod ulaza u crkveno dvorište. Neka djeca znaju dva-tri puta dnevno ići do škole, a tu je i odlazak na župni vjeronauk i mise. Pokraj ulaza u crkveno dvorište nalazi se pothodnik, u kojem se skuplja smeće, raste drača i trava, nerijetko se vide zmije i miševi.
Pokraj zatrpanog pothodnika je i izlaz i ulaz na parkiralište, skretanje za ulicu Križine, ulaz prema garažama Borisa Papandopula, a malo niže je i skretanje za parkiralište u Ulici Dinka Šimunovića. Ne radi se samo o djeci, nego i o odraslima koji idu u dućan, banku, poštu, ljekarnu. Pothodnik bi uvelike pomogao sigurnosti kretanja građana našega kotara i župe u oba pravca. Tu se radi i o vjernicima koji dnevno dolaze na misu ili se pomoliti kod Lurdske spilje – smatra don Ivan.
Ne pomrsi li korona račune projekt obnove pothodnika, što je samo prvi dio sređivanja sigurnog puta do mora, njegova realizacija bi trebala započeti do kraja ove godine.
