Veleposlanik Republike Koreje Kim Dong-chan u utorak je u Splitu otvorio Počasni konzulat Republike Koreje na adresi Trg Hrvatske bratske zajednice 2b. Odlukom Vlade Republike Koreje za počasnog konzula je imenovan dr. sc. Damir Primorac.

Primorac se na samom početku zahvalio veleposlaniku što ga je predložio za počasnog konzula Republike Koreje u Splitu, ali i Vladi Republike Koreje koja ga je i imenovala.

- Zadatak počasnog konzula je više nego jasan, to je da radi na izgradnji i uspostavljanju još boljih odnosa između dvije države, a jednako tako i na promicanju trgovačkih, gospodarskih, sportskih, znanstvenih i drugih događaja.

Sama činjenica da Republika Koreja već drugi put otkada je osnovala veleposlanstvo u Republici Hrvatskoj organizira i proslavu svog dana izvan Zagreba, prvi put je bilo u Vukovaru, a drugi put sutra u Splitu, pokazuje koliko uvažava Hrvatsku i koliko pokušava širiti i predstaviti svoju kulturu našim državljanima.

Kao što je rekao i veleposlanik, velika je stvar i sama činjenica što je, bez obzira koliko je Republika Hrvatska udaljena od Koreje, do pandemije u Hrvatsku dolazilo negdje oko 400 tisuća gostiju iz ove države. Nadam se da će i u razdoblju nakon što prođe pandemija ta brojka biti ista ili još veća - kazao je počasni konzul.

Primorac se na samom početku zahvalio veleposlaniku što ga je predložio za počasnog konzula Republike Koreje u Splitu, ali i Vladi Republike Koreje koja ga je i imenovala.

- Zadatak počasnog konzula je više nego jasan, to je da radi na izgradnji i uspostavljanju još boljih odnosa između dvije države, a jednako tako i na promicanju trgovačkih, gospodarskih, sportskih, znanstvenih i drugih događaja.

Sama činjenica da Republika Koreja već drugi put otkada je osnovala veleposlanstvo u Republici Hrvatskoj organizira i proslavu svog dana izvan Zagreba, prvi put je bilo u Vukovaru, a drugi put sutra u Splitu, pokazuje koliko uvažava Hrvatsku i koliko pokušava širiti i predstaviti svoju kulturu našim državljanima.

Kao što je rekao i veleposlanik, velika je stvar i sama činjenica što je, bez obzira koliko je Republika Hrvatska udaljena od Koreje, do pandemije u Hrvatsku dolazilo negdje oko 400 tisuća gostiju iz ove države. Nadam se da će i u razdoblju nakon što prođe pandemija ta brojka biti ista ili još veća - kazao je počasni konzul.

Veleposlanik Republike Koreje Kim Dong-chan u utorak je u Splitu otvorio Počasni konzulat Republike Koreje na adresi Trg Hrvatske bratske zajednice 2b. Odlukom Vlade Republike Koreje za počasnog konzula je imenovan dr. sc. Damir Primorac.
