Caritas Splitsko - makarske nadbiskupije dobio je od Grada Splita stan za zaštitu žrtava obiteljskog nasilja. Stan od 93 kvadrata, na području Splita, dodijeljen je na vrijeme od dvije godine u mogućnost produženja, a Caritas je obvezan plaćati mjesečnu naknadu za troškove stanovanja poput komunalne naknade, čistoće, potrošnje struje i vode i ostalih troškova.
Značajan je ovo pomak po pitanju kapaciteta skloništa za žene i djecu obiteljskog nasilja.
- Riječ je o novih pet mjesta, pa sada uz već postojeće sklonište, imamo kapacitet od 12 mjesta. No, i to je zapravo nedostatno za potrebe koje su nažalost sve veće jer smo popunjeni cijelu godinu.
Iako je preporučeni boravak tri do šest mjeseci, najduže godinu dana, naše korisnice koriste maksimum jer je jako teško krenuti u samostalan život - kazuju nam djelatnice iz skloništa koje pred sobom imaju čak 33 zahtjeva za smještajem, no tek su tri u mogućnosti realizirati.

O brojkama u smislu porasta obiteljskog nasilja teško je govoriti bez statističkih podataka policije, no svakako, teških životnih priča ima sve više. Nezaposlenost, neriješeni stambeni uvjeti, minimalne plaće, nalaženje podstanarskog stana i njegovo plaćanje samo su neki od problema na koje nailaze žene koje dolaze pod Caritasovu skrb.
- Svaka priča je slučaj za sebe, pa i mi njoj pristupamo individualno. Cilj je osnažiti te žene, osamostaliti ih, dati im podršku za još mnoge hrabre korake nakon onog prvog na koji su se odlučile nakon dugogodišnjeg trpljenja.
Uglavnom se radi o dugotrajnom nasilju, fizičkom i ekonomskom, o odnosima u kojima je partner taj koji skrbi za obitelj, pa je zaista teško napraviti onaj ključni, prvi korak i prekinuti lanac nasilja koji traje dosta dugo. Treba puno podrške i rada sa žrtvama - kažu nam stručni tim skloništa.
Pitamo ih ima li sretnih završetaka ovih tužnih priča.
- Sve su to svijetli slučajevi jer je svaki pomak ipak korak naprijed, učinile su nešto za sebe. I mali korak je zapravo velik. Poštujemo odluke tih žena i ako se vrate opet obiteljskom krugu, te im ostajemo i dalje podrška - kažu nam iz Caritasa.

Caritas Splitsko - makarske nadbiskupije dobio je od Grada Splita stan za zaštitu žrtava obiteljskog nasilja. Stan od 93 kvadrata, na području Splita, dodijeljen je na vrijeme od dvije godine u mogućnost produženja, a Caritas je obvezan plaćati mjesečnu naknadu za troškove stanovanja poput komunalne naknade, čistoće, potrošnje struje i vode i ostalih troškova.
Značajan je ovo pomak po pitanju kapaciteta skloništa za žene i djecu obiteljskog nasilja.
- Riječ je o novih pet mjesta, pa sada uz već postojeće sklonište, imamo kapacitet od 12 mjesta. No, i to je zapravo nedostatno za potrebe koje su nažalost sve veće jer smo popunjeni cijelu godinu.
Iako je preporučeni boravak tri do šest mjeseci, najduže godinu dana, naše korisnice koriste maksimum jer je jako teško krenuti u samostalan život - kazuju nam djelatnice iz skloništa koje pred sobom imaju čak 33 zahtjeva za smještajem, no tek su tri u mogućnosti realizirati.

O brojkama u smislu porasta obiteljskog nasilja teško je govoriti bez statističkih podataka policije, no svakako, teških životnih priča ima sve više. Nezaposlenost, neriješeni stambeni uvjeti, minimalne plaće, nalaženje podstanarskog stana i njegovo plaćanje samo su neki od problema na koje nailaze žene koje dolaze pod Caritasovu skrb.
- Svaka priča je slučaj za sebe, pa i mi njoj pristupamo individualno. Cilj je osnažiti te žene, osamostaliti ih, dati im podršku za još mnoge hrabre korake nakon onog prvog na koji su se odlučile nakon dugogodišnjeg trpljenja.
Uglavnom se radi o dugotrajnom nasilju, fizičkom i ekonomskom, o odnosima u kojima je partner taj koji skrbi za obitelj, pa je zaista teško napraviti onaj ključni, prvi korak i prekinuti lanac nasilja koji traje dosta dugo. Treba puno podrške i rada sa žrtvama - kažu nam stručni tim skloništa.
Pitamo ih ima li sretnih završetaka ovih tužnih priča.
- Sve su to svijetli slučajevi jer je svaki pomak ipak korak naprijed, učinile su nešto za sebe. I mali korak je zapravo velik. Poštujemo odluke tih žena i ako se vrate opet obiteljskom krugu, te im ostajemo i dalje podrška - kažu nam iz Caritasa.
