Alarmantno je stanje sa širenjem hripavca u Splitskoj-dalmatinskoj županiji. Kako doznajemo, od srpnja je u splitskoj bolnici hospitalizirano devet dojenčadi. Riječ je o slučajevima gdje je više članova obitelji kašljalo, navodi danas.hr.
Hripavac je zarazna bolest koja zahvaća pluća i dišne putove kod novorođenčadi i dojenčadi i može biti vrlo opasna. Koliko je opasan, objasnila je ravnateljica Nastavnog zavoda za javno zdravstvo Splitsko-dalmatinske županije, Željka Karin.
I sami ste rekli da je situacija alarmantna. Zašto?
Ne bih rekla da je toliko alarmantno, ali ipak moramo upozoriti na situaciju s obzirom na to da imamo hripavac u našoj županiji, kao i na procijepljenost protiv hripavca naše djece predškolske dobi.

Naravno, epidemije se javljaju ciklusima od tri do pet godina. Tako se sada dogodilo da se pojavio hripavac, međutim, jedini i najbolji način zaštite je cijepljenje protiv hripavca. Kod nas je procijepljenost djece predškolske dobi, odnosno, dojenačke dobi primo-vakcinirano ispod 86 posto djece, a potpuno cijepljeno ispod 72 posto djece. Da se ne bi širila bolest, potrebno je procijepiti 95 posto djece.
Roditelji moraju znati da su u početku simptomi blagi. Prvi tjedan to izgleda kao blaga prehlada. Curi im nos, blago kašlju. Karakteristično je da ova bolest uglavnom ne ide s temperaturom, međutim nakon 8 do 10 dana, simptomi se pogoršavaju i krenu jake navale kašlja od koje djeca teško mogu disati.

Ostaju bez zraka, zacrvene se, oni dojenačke dobi čak i poplave. Karakteristično je i da kada između tih napadaja dođu do zraka, da jako duboko udahnu, pa se često u narodu za ovu bolest kaže ‘kukurikavac‘ jer je taj udah jako snažan i glasan. Treba naglasiti da djeca jako često izlučuju viskoznu sluz i da mogu jako povraćati nakon napada kašlja. Čak i blaže aktivnosti, poput kretanja i hranjenja, mogu uzrokovati napad kada je u pitanju hripavac - istaknula je Karin za danas.hr.
Ako se zaraza proširi, prijeti li možda zatvaranje vrtića i škola?
- Ne vjerujemo da će se to tako raširiti jer imamo određenu procijepljenost, tako da vjerujemo da se to neće dogoditi. Međutim, moramo upozoriti roditelje da cijepe djecu zbog posljedica koje mogu imati od hripavca. Često može doći do težih posljedica, posebno kod dojenčadi jer mogu dobiti komplikacije poput upale mozga, a nekada to može rezultirati i smrću.

Alarmantno je stanje sa širenjem hripavca u Splitskoj-dalmatinskoj županiji. Kako doznajemo, od srpnja je u splitskoj bolnici hospitalizirano devet dojenčadi. Riječ je o slučajevima gdje je više članova obitelji kašljalo, navodi danas.hr.
Hripavac je zarazna bolest koja zahvaća pluća i dišne putove kod novorođenčadi i dojenčadi i može biti vrlo opasna. Koliko je opasan, objasnila je ravnateljica Nastavnog zavoda za javno zdravstvo Splitsko-dalmatinske županije, Željka Karin.
I sami ste rekli da je situacija alarmantna. Zašto?
Ne bih rekla da je toliko alarmantno, ali ipak moramo upozoriti na situaciju s obzirom na to da imamo hripavac u našoj županiji, kao i na procijepljenost protiv hripavca naše djece predškolske dobi.

Naravno, epidemije se javljaju ciklusima od tri do pet godina. Tako se sada dogodilo da se pojavio hripavac, međutim, jedini i najbolji način zaštite je cijepljenje protiv hripavca. Kod nas je procijepljenost djece predškolske dobi, odnosno, dojenačke dobi primo-vakcinirano ispod 86 posto djece, a potpuno cijepljeno ispod 72 posto djece. Da se ne bi širila bolest, potrebno je procijepiti 95 posto djece.
Roditelji moraju znati da su u početku simptomi blagi. Prvi tjedan to izgleda kao blaga prehlada. Curi im nos, blago kašlju. Karakteristično je da ova bolest uglavnom ne ide s temperaturom, međutim nakon 8 do 10 dana, simptomi se pogoršavaju i krenu jake navale kašlja od koje djeca teško mogu disati.

Ostaju bez zraka, zacrvene se, oni dojenačke dobi čak i poplave. Karakteristično je i da kada između tih napadaja dođu do zraka, da jako duboko udahnu, pa se često u narodu za ovu bolest kaže ‘kukurikavac‘ jer je taj udah jako snažan i glasan. Treba naglasiti da djeca jako često izlučuju viskoznu sluz i da mogu jako povraćati nakon napada kašlja. Čak i blaže aktivnosti, poput kretanja i hranjenja, mogu uzrokovati napad kada je u pitanju hripavac - istaknula je Karin za danas.hr.
Ako se zaraza proširi, prijeti li možda zatvaranje vrtića i škola?
- Ne vjerujemo da će se to tako raširiti jer imamo određenu procijepljenost, tako da vjerujemo da se to neće dogoditi. Međutim, moramo upozoriti roditelje da cijepe djecu zbog posljedica koje mogu imati od hripavca. Često može doći do težih posljedica, posebno kod dojenčadi jer mogu dobiti komplikacije poput upale mozga, a nekada to može rezultirati i smrću.
