Kad se spomene salata, mnogima je prva asocijacija zelena salata s kap ulja i kvasine, no drugi odmah počinju maštati o bogatim, raznobojnim kreacijama s puno finih sastojaka. S obzirom na vrućine, malo će se tko zaželjeti francuske i sličnih teških jela, ali protiv dobre salate sa zezonskim povrćem sigurno nitko neće imati ništa protiv. Jedna od omiljenih ljetnih salata je šopska, specijalitet bugarske kuhinje koji je omiljen na cijelom Balkanu.
Zanimljivo je kako je ova fina salata od rajčice, krastavaca, mladog luka, sirove ili pečene paprike i sirene (bijelog sira iz salamure) nastala u svrhe turističke promocije u bugarskoj nacionalnoj turističkoj agenciji "Balkantourist". Te 1955. godine osmislio ju je doajen bugarskog turizma Petar Doychev birajući sastojke tako da podsjećaju na boje bugarske zastave pa je tako šopska salata, nazvana tako unatoč tome što je izmišljena u regiji uz obalu Crnog mora, daleko od regije u kojoj žive Šopi, koji su u bugarskoj manjina, postala amblem bugarskog turizma.
Nakon što smo vam spomenuli ove make kuriozitete nema smisla gubiti vrijeme na dodatne detalje. Jednako tako, nema smisla raspravljati koji je recept za šopsku salatu pravi (jer pravi je onaj prvi, objavljen u kuharici iz 1956. godine, Sbornik recepti) i treba li staviti malo više ovoga ili onoga, treba li sir narezati, izdrobiti ili naribati...
Pravite je onako kako vam se sviđa, samo je jedite što češće jer je idealno ljetno jelo. Nudimo vam jedan od recepata, primijetit ćete da pored paprika, rajčica, krastavaca, luka i sira sadrži i masline, koje se obično ne spominju u receptima koij kruže po zemljama "regije", ali ih isvi drugi neizostavno navode. Ali kao što smo već naveli, ne zamarajte se time što bi trebalo ili ne bi trebalo ići nego sve prilagodite svom guštu, a ako vam je baš jako stalo do toga da ste vjerni izvorniku, nema vam druge nego doći do gore spomenutog zbornika recepata...
Šopska salata
Sastojci
1 veća rajčica
1 krastavac
1 paprika
1/2 glavice luka
100 g sira sirene (alternativno: feta ili grabancijaš)
marinirane masline
sjeckani peršin
ocat
maslinovo ulje
sol, papar
Priprema:
Narežite rajčicu, papriku i krastavac na kockice, luk usitnite pa sve stavite u zdjelu za posluživanje i promiješajte.
Dodajte masline, maslinovo ulje, ocat, sjeckani peršin te sol i papar i ponovno promiješajte.
Preko svega naribajte sir sirene pa salatu ostavite da se ohladi oko pola sata prije posluživanja.

S obzirom na vrućine, malo će se tko zaželjeti francuske i sličnih teških jela, ali protiv dobre salate sa zezonskim povrćem sigurno nitko neće imati ništa protiv. Jedna od omiljenih ljetnih salata je šopska, specijalitet bugarske kuhinje koji je omiljen na cijelom Balkanu.
Zanimljivo je kako je ova fina salata od rajčice, krastavaca, mladog luka, sirove ili pečene paprike i sirene (bijelog sira iz salamure) nastala u svrhe turističke promocije u bugarskoj nacionalnoj turističkoj agenciji "Balkantourist". Te 1955. godine osmislio ju je doajen bugarskog turizma Petar Doychev birajući sastojke tako da podsjećaju na boje bugarske zastave pa je tako šopska salata, nazvana tako unatoč tome što je izmišljena u regiji uz obalu Crnog mora, daleko od regije u kojoj žive Šopi, koji su u bugarskoj manjina, postala amblem bugarskog turizma.
Nakon što smo vam spomenuli ove make kuriozitete nema smisla gubiti vrijeme na dodatne detalje. Jednako tako, nema smisla raspravljati koji je recept za šopsku salatu pravi (jer pravi je onaj prvi, objavljen u kuharici iz 1956. godine, Sbornik recepti) i treba li staviti malo više ovoga ili onoga, treba li sir narezati, izdrobiti ili naribati...
Pravite je onako kako vam se sviđa, samo je jedite što češće jer je idealno ljetno jelo. Nudimo vam jedan od recepata, primijetit ćete da pored paprika, rajčica, krastavaca, luka i sira sadrži i masline, koje se obično ne spominju u receptima koij kruže po zemljama "regije", ali ih isvi drugi neizostavno navode. Ali kao što smo već naveli, ne zamarajte se time što bi trebalo ili ne bi trebalo ići nego sve prilagodite svom guštu, a ako vam je baš jako stalo do toga da ste vjerni izvorniku, nema vam druge nego doći do gore spomenutog zbornika recepata...
Šopska salata
Sastojci
1 veća rajčica
1 krastavac
1 paprika
1/2 glavice luka
100 g sira sirene (alternativno: feta ili grabancijaš)
marinirane masline
sjeckani peršin
ocat
maslinovo ulje
sol, papar
Priprema:
Narežite rajčicu, papriku i krastavac na kockice, luk usitnite pa sve stavite u zdjelu za posluživanje i promiješajte.
Dodajte masline, maslinovo ulje, ocat, sjeckani peršin te sol i papar i ponovno promiješajte.
Preko svega naribajte sir sirene pa salatu ostavite da se ohladi oko pola sata prije posluživanja.
