U sezoni domaćih limuna prava je šteta ne iskoristiti ih na što više dobrih načina, jer svaka čast limunadi i čaju, ali neusporedivo ih je bolje dodatti u kolače i kreme. Nedavno smo vam predložili nekoliko odličnih recepata za kolače, podsjetite se ovdje, a sad vam nudimo jedan mali izazov: lemon curd.
Lemon curd je vrsta kreme od limuna koja spada u klasike britanske kuhinje, a zahvaljujući društvenim mrežama posljednjih godina uživa veliku popularnost pa nam se čini kako se korisnici spomenutih natječu tko će ga bolje pripremiti i potom upotrijebiti. Pa tako viđamo lemon curd u ulozi namaza za palačinke i prženice, nadjeva za kolače, preljeva za torte, vafle i sladolede... U nedavnoj objavi otkrila je kako radi lemon curd te priznala da je iskušala različite recepte s interneta da bi na kraju, nakon nekoliko pokušaja, došla do omjera sastojaka koji joj najviše odgovara. Sudeći po priloženim fotografijama, eksperimentiranje joj se isplatilo.
Kako navodi u objavi, ovaj je delikatesa s okusom limuna predivna, osvježavajuća, kremasta, svilena i maziva, pa nam preporučuje kako ju sve koristiti.

Navela je također da se po istom receptu može napraviti krema s narančama te da je moguća kombinacija naranči i limuna, a otkrila je i da se krema dobro čuva u hladnjaku u hermetički zatvorenim staklenkama.

Lemon curd
Sastojci:
300 g šećera
150 g maslaca
4 cijela jaja
4 žumanjka
3 veća limuna (sok i korica)
2 vanilin šećera
prstohvat soli
Priprema:
U posudu u kojoj ćete kuhati kremu stavite žumanjke, jaja, sol, šećer, vanilin šećer te sok i koricu limuna.
Sve dobro izmiješajte ručno, ne mikserom, i stavite kuhati na paru uz stalno miješanje. Za ovu količinu sastojaka potrebno je 15 minuta da krema bude kuhana.
Pred kraj kuhanja u kremu ubacite maslac narezan na kockice i dobro miješajte dok se maslac ne otopi i sve bude dobro povezano.
Kuhanu kremu prebacite u prethodno pripremljene staklene posudice i pustite da se ohladi (možete pokriti prozirnom folijom), a kada se ohladi stavite poklopce i pospremite posudice u hladnjak. Kremu također možete odmah koristiti.
Smeta li vas korica prilikom konzumacije, kremu, prije nego umiješate maslac, maknite s pare i procijedite kroz sito. Zatim je vratite na paru te umiješajte maslac.

U sezoni domaćih limuna prava je šteta ne iskoristiti ih na što više dobrih načina, jer svaka čast limunadi i čaju, ali neusporedivo ih je bolje dodatti u kolače i kreme. Nedavno smo vam predložili nekoliko odličnih recepata za kolače, podsjetite se ovdje, a sad vam nudimo jedan mali izazov: lemon curd.
Lemon curd je vrsta kreme od limuna koja spada u klasike britanske kuhinje, a zahvaljujući društvenim mrežama posljednjih godina uživa veliku popularnost pa nam se čini kako se korisnici spomenutih natječu tko će ga bolje pripremiti i potom upotrijebiti. Pa tako viđamo lemon curd u ulozi namaza za palačinke i prženice, nadjeva za kolače, preljeva za torte, vafle i sladolede... U nedavnoj objavi otkrila je kako radi lemon curd te priznala da je iskušala različite recepte s interneta da bi na kraju, nakon nekoliko pokušaja, došla do omjera sastojaka koji joj najviše odgovara. Sudeći po priloženim fotografijama, eksperimentiranje joj se isplatilo.
Kako navodi u objavi, ovaj je delikatesa s okusom limuna predivna, osvježavajuća, kremasta, svilena i maziva, pa nam preporučuje kako ju sve koristiti.
"Osim što ju možete jesti žlicom, često se koristi kao nadjev za palačinke, kekse, kolače, torte, lisnata tijesta, Pavlovu tortu, a otkriće mi je topli hrskavi tost, maslac i lemon curd".

Navela je također da se po istom receptu može napraviti krema s narančama te da je moguća kombinacija naranči i limuna, a otkrila je i da se krema dobro čuva u hladnjaku u hermetički zatvorenim staklenkama.
Pratitelje je osobito zanimalo baš to pitanje pa sad znamo kako se na opisani način lemon curd čuva i do 14 dana, ali i da se sasvim uspješno može i zamrznuti te da joj taj postupak ne narušava kvalitetu. Lemon curd
Sastojci:
300 g šećera
150 g maslaca
4 cijela jaja
4 žumanjka
3 veća limuna (sok i korica)
2 vanilin šećera
prstohvat soli
Priprema:
U posudu u kojoj ćete kuhati kremu stavite žumanjke, jaja, sol, šećer, vanilin šećer te sok i koricu limuna.
Sve dobro izmiješajte ručno, ne mikserom, i stavite kuhati na paru uz stalno miješanje. Za ovu količinu sastojaka potrebno je 15 minuta da krema bude kuhana.
Pred kraj kuhanja u kremu ubacite maslac narezan na kockice i dobro miješajte dok se maslac ne otopi i sve bude dobro povezano.
Kuhanu kremu prebacite u prethodno pripremljene staklene posudice i pustite da se ohladi (možete pokriti prozirnom folijom), a kada se ohladi stavite poklopce i pospremite posudice u hladnjak. Kremu također možete odmah koristiti.
Smeta li vas korica prilikom konzumacije, kremu, prije nego umiješate maslac, maknite s pare i procijedite kroz sito. Zatim je vratite na paru te umiješajte maslac.
