Stavljate li vi rižu u nadjev za punjene paprike? Većina stavlja, no neki su od te prakse odustali, bilo jer im riža smeta, bilo zato što vjeruju da će paprike bez njih biti ukusnije. Na portalu Plava kamenica nedavno smo, u recenziji punjenih paprika u zagrebačkom restoranu Matrix, pročitali zaključak da riži u paprikama više nema mjesta. Kako je navedeno, "paprike su veoma ukusne, iako nadjev sadrži rižu". Hm.

Kako dalje piše Plava kamenica, riža je "tradicionalni, obavezni sastojak u kućnim nadjevima za punjene paprike i sarmu, premda ona u tim jelima nema nikakvu gastronomsku vrijednost. Riža je ušla u filane paprike i u sarmu kako bi ih učinila kaloričnijima i zasitnijima; riječ je o receptima koji su napisani u puno siromašnijim vremenima". Zbog navedenog se izvlači zaključak kako ne postoji "nikakav razlog da se riža i danas, osobito u boljim restoranima, stavlja u punjene paprike; nadjev bez riže bio bi rahliji i lakši".

Mi vam pak možemo reći da smo ih radili i s rižom i bez nje, a isprobali smo i varijante u koijma je riža bila zamijenjena prosom i kvinojom i sve nam je to bilo dobro. Naravno, one s rižom najviše podsjećaju na mamine i bakine pa su nam samim tim i draže.

Još se jedno važno pitanje veđže uz rižu u punjenim paprikama: treba li je prethodno prokuhati ili ne. I u ovom slučaju isprobali smo više varijanti te smo se odlučili zadržati negdje na po‘ puta, uz rižu skuhanu tek toliko da malo omekša (dodatni bonus: kad je dodate mesu, malo će ga zgrijati, što će dopustiti začinima da bolje razviju okus, a učinit će i baratanje mesom nešto ugodnijim). 

Pronašli smo i jedan zgodan savjet u vezi dodavanja riže: neki kažu da ju je najbolje samo malo prepeći na ulju ili masti, to će joj, navodi se, razviti okus i osigurati da se prilikom kuhanja ne raspadne.

Stavljate li vi rižu u nadjev za punjene paprike? Većina stavlja, no neki su od te prakse odustali, bilo jer im riža smeta, bilo zato što vjeruju da će paprike bez njih biti ukusnije. Na portalu Plava kamenica nedavno smo, u recenziji punjenih paprika u zagrebačkom restoranu Matrix, pročitali zaključak da riži u paprikama više nema mjesta. Kako je navedeno, "paprike su veoma ukusne, iako nadjev sadrži rižu". Hm.

Kako dalje piše Plava kamenica, riža je "tradicionalni, obavezni sastojak u kućnim nadjevima za punjene paprike i sarmu, premda ona u tim jelima nema nikakvu gastronomsku vrijednost. Riža je ušla u filane paprike i u sarmu kako bi ih učinila kaloričnijima i zasitnijima; riječ je o receptima koji su napisani u puno siromašnijim vremenima". Zbog navedenog se izvlači zaključak kako ne postoji "nikakav razlog da se riža i danas, osobito u boljim restoranima, stavlja u punjene paprike; nadjev bez riže bio bi rahliji i lakši".

Mi vam pak možemo reći da smo ih radili i s rižom i bez nje, a isprobali smo i varijante u koijma je riža bila zamijenjena prosom i kvinojom i sve nam je to bilo dobro. Naravno, one s rižom najviše podsjećaju na mamine i bakine pa su nam samim tim i draže.

Još se jedno važno pitanje veđže uz rižu u punjenim paprikama: treba li je prethodno prokuhati ili ne. I u ovom slučaju isprobali smo više varijanti te smo se odlučili zadržati negdje na po‘ puta, uz rižu skuhanu tek toliko da malo omekša (dodatni bonus: kad je dodate mesu, malo će ga zgrijati, što će dopustiti začinima da bolje razviju okus, a učinit će i baratanje mesom nešto ugodnijim). 

Pronašli smo i jedan zgodan savjet u vezi dodavanja riže: neki kažu da ju je najbolje samo malo prepeći na ulju ili masti, to će joj, navodi se, razviti okus i osigurati da se prilikom kuhanja ne raspadne.

Treba li stavljati rižu u punjene paprike? Oko ovog pitanja uvijek je polemika, a ovo je savjet koji bi mogao pomoći

Stavljate li vi rižu u nadjev za punjene paprike? Većina stavlja, no neki su od te prakse odustali, bilo jer im riža smeta, bilo zato što vjeruju da će paprike bez njih biti ukusnije. Na portalu Plava kamenica nedavno smo, u recenziji punjenih paprika u zagrebačkom restoranu Matrix, pročitali zaključak da riži u paprikama više nema mjesta. Kako je navedeno, "paprike su veoma ukusne, iako nadjev sadrži rižu". Hm.

Kako dalje piše Plava kamenica, riža je "tradicionalni, obavezni sastojak u kućnim nadjevima za punjene paprike i sarmu, premda ona u tim jelima nema nikakvu gastronomsku vrijednost. Riža je ušla u filane paprike i u sarmu kako bi ih učinila kaloričnijima i zasitnijima; riječ je o receptima koji su napisani u puno siromašnijim vremenima". Zbog navedenog se izvlači zaključak kako ne postoji "nikakav razlog da se riža i danas, osobito u boljim restoranima, stavlja u punjene paprike; nadjev bez riže bio bi rahliji i lakši".

Mi vam pak možemo reći da smo ih radili i s rižom i bez nje, a isprobali smo i varijante u koijma je riža bila zamijenjena prosom i kvinojom i sve nam je to bilo dobro. Naravno, one s rižom najviše podsjećaju na mamine i bakine pa su nam samim tim i draže.

Još se jedno važno pitanje veđže uz rižu u punjenim paprikama: treba li je prethodno prokuhati ili ne. I u ovom slučaju isprobali smo više varijanti te smo se odlučili zadržati negdje na po‘ puta, uz rižu skuhanu tek toliko da malo omekša (dodatni bonus: kad je dodate mesu, malo će ga zgrijati, što će dopustiti začinima da bolje razviju okus, a učinit će i baratanje mesom nešto ugodnijim). 

Pronašli smo i jedan zgodan savjet u vezi dodavanja riže: neki kažu da ju je najbolje samo malo prepeći na ulju ili masti, to će joj, navodi se, razviti okus i osigurati da se prilikom kuhanja ne raspadne.
