Postala je gotovo rijetkost pronaći mjesto na našoj obali na kojem u ležernoj atmosferi možete pojesti neku normalnu domaću hranu, pogotovo ako je to mjesto smješteno uz samo more, na plaži. Pod normalnom domaćom hranom ne mislimo na ćevapčiće i pomfrit (protiv kojih nemamo ništa), već na ukusan svježe skuhan obrok kakav bi sami sebi pripremili za objed.

Zato nas je razveselilo kada je kraj plaže Vela Pržina u Lumbardi, na otoku Korčuli otvoren Amore. Drvena konstrukcija na kojoj se nalazi ovaj šarmantni beach bar nadvija se iznad mora i s njega puca pogled na pučinu i Lastovo, a kako uvijek popuhuje neki lagani povjetarac i za najvećih vrućina ovdje ćete se osjećati ugodno. Uostalom, možete se samo spustiti po drvenim stepenicama koje vode ravno u more i zaplivati.

Vlasnici Ana Milat i Jadranko Radošević nakon što su se upoznali i zaljubili odlučili su svoj rodni Lič i Gorski kotar zamijeniti životom uz more. Sreću su prvo okušali u Kostreni no tek su se na Korčuli osjetili ponovno kao kod kuće. Anina obitelj imala je restoran u Crikvenici te je od djeda i oca naslijedila ljubav prema hrani i kuhanju, dok je Jadranko opsjednut mesom prodao sve i otišao u Banja Luku učiti po mesnicama kako bi usavršio pripremu steakova ali i otkrio najbolju mješavinu za pljeskavice i ćevape. Čak je i sam izradio peć iz koje u samo nekoliko minuta izlaze stvarno odlično pečeni komadi mesa.

Ipak, ponuda se u Amoreu najviše oslanja na doslovno dnevnoj nabavi. U skladu s tim na crnoj se ploči svaki dan ispisuje meni i sastoji se od pet, šest jela. Osim friške ribe koje uglavnom spremaju na gradelama, nađu se tu i odlične salate sa domaćim kozjim sirom ili pršutom, pašteta od ribe, ragu od sipe, rižoto sa šafranom ili što već Ani taj dan dođe pod ruku. Mi smo se odlučili za crne makarune s kozicama, salatu od kozjeg sira te salatu od bifteka.

Upozorenje prije naručivanja, porcije su ogromne, a prevariti vas može i svježe pečeni domaći kruh kojeg ne možete prestati jesti.
U moru mahom sličnih žrnovskih makaruna koje se na Korčuli nude u svakom restoranu, ovi su nas iznenadili prvo bojom, ali i okusom jer su lijepe čvrste kozice bile u slatkasto kiselom šugu od kapule i crnog vina. Osvježenje nakon već ‘isfuranih‘ makaruna s pestom ili kozicama na crveno.
Domaćem kozjem siru je na tanjuru društvo radila rikola i matovilac, te male pomidorice, bademi, brusnice... Jako ukusno, dobro začinjeno i izbalansiranih okusa i zasitno. Odličan obrok nakon ili prije kupanja za vrućeg ljetnog dana.

Salata od bifteka bila je zapravo odlično pečen komad bifteka, koji smo dobili upravo onako kako smo tražili, slabije pečen uz salatu od lešo krumpira, fažoleta i matovilca. Sve također jako ukusno začinjeno.
Za kraj cheesecake od ružmarina za koji bi voljeli da je bio malo ‘ružmarinastiji‘ iako nam je jasno da nisu svi fanovi kad ružmarin previše prevlada.

Dobili smo dojavu da je nova na meniju pašteta od sipe s motarom, pa je sigurno da ćemo se u ovaj simpatičan beach bar sigurno ponovno vratiti. Vinska karta je mala i sadrži samo lokalna vina, no možete se opustiti i uz odlične koktele.
Amore kuha iskreno, s puno entuzijazma i uz još malo hrabrosti i opuštenosti zasigurno može postati jedno od omiljenih mjesta za uživanje, ne samo u kupanju na popularnoj Veloj Pržini, nego i za uživanje u jako dobroj domaćoj hrani.

Postala je gotovo rijetkost pronaći mjesto na našoj obali na kojem u ležernoj atmosferi možete pojesti neku normalnu domaću hranu, pogotovo ako je to mjesto smješteno uz samo more, na plaži. Pod normalnom domaćom hranom ne mislimo na ćevapčiće i pomfrit (protiv kojih nemamo ništa), već na ukusan svježe skuhan obrok kakav bi sami sebi pripremili za objed.

Zato nas je razveselilo kada je kraj plaže Vela Pržina u Lumbardi, na otoku Korčuli otvoren Amore. Drvena konstrukcija na kojoj se nalazi ovaj šarmantni beach bar nadvija se iznad mora i s njega puca pogled na pučinu i Lastovo, a kako uvijek popuhuje neki lagani povjetarac i za najvećih vrućina ovdje ćete se osjećati ugodno. Uostalom, možete se samo spustiti po drvenim stepenicama koje vode ravno u more i zaplivati.

Vlasnici Ana Milat i Jadranko Radošević nakon što su se upoznali i zaljubili odlučili su svoj rodni Lič i Gorski kotar zamijeniti životom uz more. Sreću su prvo okušali u Kostreni no tek su se na Korčuli osjetili ponovno kao kod kuće. Anina obitelj imala je restoran u Crikvenici te je od djeda i oca naslijedila ljubav prema hrani i kuhanju, dok je Jadranko opsjednut mesom prodao sve i otišao u Banja Luku učiti po mesnicama kako bi usavršio pripremu steakova ali i otkrio najbolju mješavinu za pljeskavice i ćevape. Čak je i sam izradio peć iz koje u samo nekoliko minuta izlaze stvarno odlično pečeni komadi mesa.

Ipak, ponuda se u Amoreu najviše oslanja na doslovno dnevnoj nabavi. U skladu s tim na crnoj se ploči svaki dan ispisuje meni i sastoji se od pet, šest jela. Osim friške ribe koje uglavnom spremaju na gradelama, nađu se tu i odlične salate sa domaćim kozjim sirom ili pršutom, pašteta od ribe, ragu od sipe, rižoto sa šafranom ili što već Ani taj dan dođe pod ruku. Mi smo se odlučili za crne makarune s kozicama, salatu od kozjeg sira te salatu od bifteka.

Upozorenje prije naručivanja, porcije su ogromne, a prevariti vas može i svježe pečeni domaći kruh kojeg ne možete prestati jesti.
U moru mahom sličnih žrnovskih makaruna koje se na Korčuli nude u svakom restoranu, ovi su nas iznenadili prvo bojom, ali i okusom jer su lijepe čvrste kozice bile u slatkasto kiselom šugu od kapule i crnog vina. Osvježenje nakon već ‘isfuranih‘ makaruna s pestom ili kozicama na crveno.
Domaćem kozjem siru je na tanjuru društvo radila rikola i matovilac, te male pomidorice, bademi, brusnice... Jako ukusno, dobro začinjeno i izbalansiranih okusa i zasitno. Odličan obrok nakon ili prije kupanja za vrućeg ljetnog dana.

Salata od bifteka bila je zapravo odlično pečen komad bifteka, koji smo dobili upravo onako kako smo tražili, slabije pečen uz salatu od lešo krumpira, fažoleta i matovilca. Sve također jako ukusno začinjeno.
Za kraj cheesecake od ružmarina za koji bi voljeli da je bio malo ‘ružmarinastiji‘ iako nam je jasno da nisu svi fanovi kad ružmarin previše prevlada.

Dobili smo dojavu da je nova na meniju pašteta od sipe s motarom, pa je sigurno da ćemo se u ovaj simpatičan beach bar sigurno ponovno vratiti. Vinska karta je mala i sadrži samo lokalna vina, no možete se opustiti i uz odlične koktele.
Amore kuha iskreno, s puno entuzijazma i uz još malo hrabrosti i opuštenosti zasigurno može postati jedno od omiljenih mjesta za uživanje, ne samo u kupanju na popularnoj Veloj Pržini, nego i za uživanje u jako dobroj domaćoj hrani.
