Tih 100.000 puno je upečatljivije kada se napiše s tom jedinicom i pet nula iza. Stotinu tisuća ne djeluje toliko impozantno. Kao neke dvije uobičajene riječi. Da je riječ o kunama, bilo bi jako lijepo. O eurima da i ne govorim. No, znam da ste shvatili, ovdje je riječ o - kilometrima.

Kada je Tweety u ljeto 2005. “udomljen”, bolja polovica i ja spoznali smo napokon sve čari servo volana, air-baga, električnih podizača stakala, centralne brave i daljinskog zaključavanja/otključavanja. Još uvijek s probnim tablicama, zaputili smo se na Korčulu i time načeli ovih 100.000 do sada prijeđenih kilometara koji su nam tada djelovali svjetlosnim godinama daleko.

Tako smo nas troje, osim uobičajenih relacija između Solina, Splita i poslije Dugopolja, išli malo uz obalu i malo niz nju. Kada bi nas bilo više, obično je bila riječ o kupanjcu s nećakinjama iza Omiša i u Primoštenu.

No, nas troje voljeli smo često svratiti do Omiša i u šetnje po plaži, šetnje po Trogiru i u svojim turama, koje su u posljednje vrijeme utihnule, obišli smo na jednodnevnim ili višednevnim izletima Nin, Zadar, Plitvice, Dalmatinsku zagoru, Makarsku, Igrane, Slano, Dubrovnik, Cavtat, prošli kroz mnoga egzotična mjestašca na tom putu, ponekad praćeni zaintrigiranim pogledima jer smo znali birati rute koje su bile izvan onih uvriježenih.

Uz besprijekorno čitanje karte i sigurnu, čvrstu ruku na volanu, nismo se izgubili više od pet-šest puta. Zahvaljujući naginjanju prema jugu, prvenstveno Korčuli i Dubrovniku, upoznali smo i ljepote Pelješca, osladili se školjkama i poneki picom u Stonu, prešetali Mali Ston, upoznali se sa zidinama u oba mjesta, kao i, naravno, u Dubrovniku i Korčuli.

Zapjevali smo Velu Luku u istoimenoj, šetali po Blatu, čekali na trajetke s obje strane Korčule: da, iz Vele Luke je jednostavnije, ali preko Pelješca je daleko izazovnije, pogotovo ako ste suvozač koji pomalo pati od visinske vrtoglavice. Zasigurno je u tih 100.000 bilo i onih stvari koje ne bude lijepe uspomene, ali (kao što bi Gabi otpjevala) “Pamtim samo sretne dane”.

S obzirom na sve, volio bih da i sljedećih 100.000 kilometara bude u skladu s prvih stotinu, pogotovo kada je u pitanju “zdravlje” našeg Tweetyja, jer - bojim se - teško da će dobiti mlađega bracu ili seku.

Kada je Tweety u ljeto 2005. “udomljen”, bolja polovica i ja spoznali smo napokon sve čari servo volana, air-baga, električnih podizača stakala, centralne brave i daljinskog zaključavanja/otključavanja. Još uvijek s probnim tablicama, zaputili smo se na Korčulu i time načeli ovih 100.000 do sada prijeđenih kilometara koji su nam tada djelovali svjetlosnim godinama daleko.

Tako smo nas troje, osim uobičajenih relacija između Solina, Splita i poslije Dugopolja, išli malo uz obalu i malo niz nju. Kada bi nas bilo više, obično je bila riječ o kupanjcu s nećakinjama iza Omiša i u Primoštenu.

No, nas troje voljeli smo često svratiti do Omiša i u šetnje po plaži, šetnje po Trogiru i u svojim turama, koje su u posljednje vrijeme utihnule, obišli smo na jednodnevnim ili višednevnim izletima Nin, Zadar, Plitvice, Dalmatinsku zagoru, Makarsku, Igrane, Slano, Dubrovnik, Cavtat, prošli kroz mnoga egzotična mjestašca na tom putu, ponekad praćeni zaintrigiranim pogledima jer smo znali birati rute koje su bile izvan onih uvriježenih.

Uz besprijekorno čitanje karte i sigurnu, čvrstu ruku na volanu, nismo se izgubili više od pet-šest puta. Zahvaljujući naginjanju prema jugu, prvenstveno Korčuli i Dubrovniku, upoznali smo i ljepote Pelješca, osladili se školjkama i poneki picom u Stonu, prešetali Mali Ston, upoznali se sa zidinama u oba mjesta, kao i, naravno, u Dubrovniku i Korčuli.

Zapjevali smo Velu Luku u istoimenoj, šetali po Blatu, čekali na trajetke s obje strane Korčule: da, iz Vele Luke je jednostavnije, ali preko Pelješca je daleko izazovnije, pogotovo ako ste suvozač koji pomalo pati od visinske vrtoglavice. Zasigurno je u tih 100.000 bilo i onih stvari koje ne bude lijepe uspomene, ali (kao što bi Gabi otpjevala) “Pamtim samo sretne dane”.

S obzirom na sve, volio bih da i sljedećih 100.000 kilometara bude u skladu s prvih stotinu, pogotovo kada je u pitanju “zdravlje” našeg Tweetyja, jer - bojim se - teško da će dobiti mlađega bracu ili seku.

Impozantan, okrugao broj. Tih 100.000 puno je upečatljivije kada se napiše s tom jedinicom i pet nula iza. Stotinu tisuća ne djeluje toliko impozantno. Kao neke dvije uobičajene riječi. Da je riječ o kunama, bilo bi jako lijepo. O eurima da i ne govorim. No, znam da ste shvatili, ovdje je riječ o - kilometrima.
