Londonski U.K. Subs, na čelu sa živućom punk rock legendom Charliem Harperom, koji i u sedamdeset i četvrtoj godini života nastavlja s turnejama, nastupit će u nedjelju, 4. veljače u zagrebačkom Boogaloo klubu, najavio je organizator koncerta agencija Twilight Promotion.

U.K. Subs ovoga puta u Zagreb dolaze slaveći 40. obljetnicu postojanja te predstavljajući svoj devetnaesti studijski album "Ziezo" i dva nova singla "Predator" i "The Beast".

U. K. Subs slove za predvodnike druge punk generacije, prvi singl "C.I.D." objavili su 1978. godne i odmah se pojavili u glazbenoj TV emisiji "Top Of The Pops". Kada je 1979. godine izašao njihov prvi album "Another Kind Of Blues" dospjeli su u prvi plan na punk sceni, djelomočno zahvaljujući i velikoj diskografskoj kući RCA za koju su objavili još tri albuma i postali jednim od najuspješnijih punk rock bendova sa čak sedam ulaza na britansku top ljestvicu između 1978. i 1981.

Prvi su punk band koji je svirao iza tadašnje "željezne zavjese" u Poljskoj, zatim su obišli Sjevernu i Južnu Ameriku, Japan, Australiju i Europu, svirajući godišnje i do dvjestotinjak koncerata.



U Hrvatsku su prvi put stigli 1986. godine i nastupili u kultnom zagrebačkom klubu "Kulušiću", a potom su nas obilazili svakih par godina i bili jedan od rijetkih bendova koji su se usudili doći za vrijeme rata. Koncertni snimak iz zagrebačkog kluba "Jabuka" iz 1993. objavljen je kao bonus CD na njihovom albumu "Normal Service Resumed" iz 1994. godine.

Kao predgrupe svirat će zagrebački Skretničari i Eksodus, koji je dosad više puta nastupio s U.K. Subsima.

Londonski U.K. Subs, na čelu sa živućom punk rock legendom Charliem Harperom, koji i u sedamdeset i četvrtoj godini života nastavlja s turnejama, nastupit će u nedjelju, 4. veljače u zagrebačkom Boogaloo klubu, najavio je organizator koncerta agencija Twilight Promotion.

U.K. Subs ovoga puta u Zagreb dolaze slaveći 40. obljetnicu postojanja te predstavljajući svoj devetnaesti studijski album "Ziezo" i dva nova singla "Predator" i "The Beast".

U. K. Subs slove za predvodnike druge punk generacije, prvi singl "C.I.D." objavili su 1978. godne i odmah se pojavili u glazbenoj TV emisiji "Top Of The Pops". Kada je 1979. godine izašao njihov prvi album "Another Kind Of Blues" dospjeli su u prvi plan na punk sceni, djelomočno zahvaljujući i velikoj diskografskoj kući RCA za koju su objavili još tri albuma i postali jednim od najuspješnijih punk rock bendova sa čak sedam ulaza na britansku top ljestvicu između 1978. i 1981.

Prvi su punk band koji je svirao iza tadašnje "željezne zavjese" u Poljskoj, zatim su obišli Sjevernu i Južnu Ameriku, Japan, Australiju i Europu, svirajući godišnje i do dvjestotinjak koncerata.



U Hrvatsku su prvi put stigli 1986. godine i nastupili u kultnom zagrebačkom klubu "Kulušiću", a potom su nas obilazili svakih par godina i bili jedan od rijetkih bendova koji su se usudili doći za vrijeme rata. Koncertni snimak iz zagrebačkog kluba "Jabuka" iz 1993. objavljen je kao bonus CD na njihovom albumu "Normal Service Resumed" iz 1994. godine.

Kao predgrupe svirat će zagrebački Skretničari i Eksodus, koji je dosad više puta nastupio s U.K. Subsima.
