U 70. godini umrla je američka glumica Georgia Engel, proslavljena nezaboravnom ulogom Pat MacDougall u seriji "Svi vole Raymonda".

Kako javljaju svjetski mediji, Engel je preminula u Princetonu u New Jerseyju, a uzrok smrti zasad nije poznat. Navodi se kako nije poznato da je patila od nekih kroničnih zdravstvenih tegoba.

Georgia Engel je bila pet puta nominirana za nagradu Primetime Emmy, dva puta za ulogu Baxter, djevojke Teda Baxtera, kao i tri puta za ulogu u "Raymondu", koju su obožavali i hrvatski gledatelji. 

TV veteranka se tijekom pedesetogodišnje karijere pojavljivala u brojnim serijama, a posljednji angažman imala je u seriji "One Day" na Netflixu prošle godine. Domaća ju je publika mogla pratiti i u serijama "U uredu", "Ludnica u Clevelandu" te "Dva i pol muškarca". Glumila je i na Broadwayu.

Iako uzrok smrti poznate glumice nije poznat, izvršitelj oporuke John Quilty izjavio je za The New York Times kako je Engel bila pripadnica kršćanske znanosti - sljedbe koja je razvila vlastito tumačenje Biblije i čiji pripadnici vjeruju da su bolesti samo iluzije koje se liječe molitvom.

Za zdravstvene probleme ni Engel, kao ni ostali pripadnici sekte, nije tražila pomoć liječnika, potvrdio je Quilty.

U 70. godini umrla je američka glumica Georgia Engel, proslavljena nezaboravnom ulogom Pat MacDougall u seriji "Svi vole Raymonda".

Kako javljaju svjetski mediji, Engel je preminula u Princetonu u New Jerseyju, a uzrok smrti zasad nije poznat. Navodi se kako nije poznato da je patila od nekih kroničnih zdravstvenih tegoba.

Georgia Engel je bila pet puta nominirana za nagradu Primetime Emmy, dva puta za ulogu Baxter, djevojke Teda Baxtera, kao i tri puta za ulogu u "Raymondu", koju su obožavali i hrvatski gledatelji. 

TV veteranka se tijekom pedesetogodišnje karijere pojavljivala u brojnim serijama, a posljednji angažman imala je u seriji "One Day" na Netflixu prošle godine. Domaća ju je publika mogla pratiti i u serijama "U uredu", "Ludnica u Clevelandu" te "Dva i pol muškarca". Glumila je i na Broadwayu.

Iako uzrok smrti poznate glumice nije poznat, izvršitelj oporuke John Quilty izjavio je za The New York Times kako je Engel bila pripadnica kršćanske znanosti - sljedbe koja je razvila vlastito tumačenje Biblije i čiji pripadnici vjeruju da su bolesti samo iluzije koje se liječe molitvom.

Za zdravstvene probleme ni Engel, kao ni ostali pripadnici sekte, nije tražila pomoć liječnika, potvrdio je Quilty.
